Hi allWe are importing our currency rates from an external source. The external source is using a conversion factor of 10,000 for 1 currency however for that same currency the conversion factor in IFS is 1. The external source can’t change the conversion factor from their end. Any suggestions as to how we resolve this issue?ThanksGT

Hi, Is it possible to create a tax only invoice? We have a customer that was miss-charged in the legacy system and have requested a further invoice for the VAT, I have tried running a few tests in the Instant Invoice and Manual Customer Invoice screens but I can’t seem to find a way of only charging the VAT that will show it on the Tax line of the invoice. Thanks, Georgina 

Hi! All,I use IFS 8. Part 288900 ‘s Planning Method was set as B. Then system create PR for it. User change its Planning Method to A on 2022-08-28. Then an INV and Planned PR proposal  which was created on 2022-08-28 live in PR proposal pool always. Users always find it if search PR by Requisitioner INV and Status Planned. It congused user. Is it possible to cancel or delete this PR?Thansk your help in advance!    

The GST tax rate not reflecting on Purchase order line When using Supplier Agreement, even after connecting HSN with supplier for purchase part.This HSN group has Tax structure at HSN/SAC group code.

In IFSAPP10, I am trying to determine what actions on a Purchase Order (header, Part Order Lines, other tabs) will initiate a Revision increase on the Purchase Order Header.  As seen on the printed PO and also Misc Order Info> Revision No.I have a user who expects to see the PO Rev up when a Part Line revision is modified. Similarly, they expect a PO Rev up when a Charges line is added. Those appear to be significant enough changes that we expected the PO Revision to change, but we do not.Conversely, we do see a PO Revision change for something that seems more minor, such as modifying Misc Order Info> Ship-Via Code. Can anyone explain or point me to documentation about the rules or logic? Thank you.Tim

Please can someone provide a working example – List of Api calls to cancel a single line in the Part Order Lines on the Purchase Order and on the Purchase Order Change Order. These cannot be located in the documentation. This is required as soon as possible as it is holding up a time sensitive project.

The Self Service Procurement portal does not include purchase group when Free text ( no part purchase) purchase is used.  The purchase group is essential to catalogize and make correct pre accounting, why have this field not been included into the portal? 

Hello,Do you know a way to update easily the prices of many supplier for purchase part for one site and for one supplier instead of going through each supplier for purchase part?I know we can do that by data migration but the access of data migration will be restricted to the IT service. In order to be autonomous for this action, buyers would like to update prices of many supplier for purchase part without data migration.I was thinking of the screen below but the modification of each line is not possible, I need to go to the details and that open one and only one supplier for purchase part. Thanks in advanceLaura

Hi,I am setting up an event that triggers when a new purchase order is created - it is looking at one parameter on the supplier side and returns an information message depending on said parameter.It works fine when creating a purchase order from scratch. However, event does not trigger when creating a purchase order via the ‘Copy Order...’ RMB option. When looking at what’s happening (in the debug console), I see that the method Purchase_Order_API.Copy_ is used. Hello All,Is there a way to restrict what Purchase groups can be used for NOT PART lines vs PART lines?    For PART order lines, we only want to allow a few groups as well as the NO PART order lines.  Is there a way to accomplish this with base configuration in IFS?We are on Apps10.

We have Purchase Order Authorisation Rules in place for the majority of our sites for various values. One of our sites has a few suppliers that they create ‘running’ orders for, which are updated throughout the month, instead of creating 1-off orders on each occasion. Each time the running order is updated (via a change order), they may have to repeatedly authorise these orders depending on their value. Is there a way to specifically exclude a few suppliers from purchase authorisation rules. When setting up purchase auth rules there is an option to apply a rule to a specific group of suppliers, but not to exclude. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,Harley

Can you clarify how (and if)  the Approved Suppliers List overrides an active PO Authorization rule?

In Business Opportunity I have a user that is questioning the Totals when it comes to RevisionsUser is saying that the bottom portion of the Business Opp used to reflect the totals of that revision - we have noticed since UPD14 that the totals only reflect that of the most recent revision  - is this the way it is supposed to work 

I am looking for a way to group inventory items within IFS to do better reporting for their spend.  For example.  I have 10 codes for gloves.  Is there a way to add a code for Gloves that could then be used for reporting to quickly review spend by category? If i have several categories, example, Gloves, Glasses, Abrasives, etc.  Then I could run a report to see what all falls into each bucket; and as these items are requisitioned out, I can run reporting that shows the spend by group and by cost center.  I don’t know where to add that level in the system - and am assuming Pre-posting will be involved - - which for inventory Items we don’t prepost, they just go to inventory, and as they are req’d out, they are then assigned a cost center.

In the above image, Type column is too long and I couldn’t find the end. In UI designer, width of the column is 10. I am getting this issue for particular user and one screen only. Other screens are working fine. I have changed the screen that time also i am getting the same for the same user. Not only one tab , the issue is in all tabs.Please give me some idea to fix this issue. 

Dear All, I am in a situation where I want to automatically be informed when remote warehouses need to be refilled.To do so I have define my Remote Warehouse as a putaway zone, I have created a Remote warehouse parts assortments with refill order point and refill to qty with Refill source = inventory. The remote warehouse planning is ok. On site level I have set Transport Task automatic consolidation by multiple parts. So when I now run the ‘Refill all putaway zones’ it auto creates my transport task to move the goods from my main warehouse to the remote warehouse. So far so good. But now: actually I do not want to use a Transport Task but rather a Shipment Order. As indictaed on the “About Shipment Order” help page. Transport Tasks are good to move stullwithin the 4 walls of your building. Now I have a remote warehouse (the definition of remote being= not within the 4 walls of my building :-)), so I would like to use the shipment flo

Hello! One of our customer (IFS App 10) requires to add 100+ parts into Purchase Order. Right now, there is only one option available i.e. adding parts 1 by 1. And this is not feasible. Is there any option to add multiple parts in a Purchase Order in one go (preferably through excel)? (I’ve tried using ‘Simple Migration Tool App 8’ but, it doesn’t serve the purpose).
