Charges on Supplier for Purchase Part not included in the Part Cost

IFS Apps 10.

Charges on Supplier for Purchase Part not included in the Part Cost if any option is selected in Distribute Charge By

Example:

Distribute Charge By = NULL

Cost Calculation Run

Std Lot Size = 10. Purch Charge on Supplier = 1000/10 = 100.00

Change to Distribute Charge Per Amount

Cost Calculation

Purchase Charge on Supplier disappears.

This means we cannot use the Distribute Charge By options without the Part Cost being incorrect.

Has anyone else come across this?

Hi Graham,

I have just done a knowledge search of existing IFS Support Cases and found that the same issue has been logged by another customer previously.

The functionality is working by design (see extract from the IFS Help Documentation below);

However, it is suggested that you also log an IFS Community Idea so that the requirement can be considered for inclusion in future releases;
