Hi, all!May be someone had the same problem sorting by the Object Id, when identity is alphanumeric.System builds the tree in the following manner: at the top there can be Object with identity L10, then L11,… and at the end L2.But I think that the correct sorting has to be following: L2, L10, L11, …How this sorting have to be configured to match those correct mentioned above?Does anybody have such experience with sorting the objects in equipment objects tree?Could you share your solutions?Thanks!

Hello, I am trying to delete an Object ID in the Equipment Object Navigator, but to do that I need to delete the PMs associated with the Object ID. I created a few to test some things and now need to delete them. I cannot delete the Work Order or Pm Actions because it is used in Pm Action Calendar Plan. I also cannot edit the calendar because said Pm Actions are Obsolete. They should not have any Time ($$$) associated with them, so why can’t I delete them?

Good Afternoon,Our Warehouse Department has asked if there is a process within IFS where we can set up procedure relating to Stock Management and Movement Control. I have noticed within IFS there are the following functionalities: However I am unfamiliar with their use and what they can offer?  Basically we require a system to ‘Track & Trace’ as and when equipment is issued on a temporary basis from our Warehouse to our sub departments. Afternoon,I am pretty sure the answer is No, but does anyone know if its possible to connect the Causes in Service and Maintenance to Object Categories in Apps 8? What we are trying to achieve is if an Object is of a certain category, then when we come to report on a work order what the cause of the fault was, that the LOV only displays causes which relate to that object category type.I cannot see anything obvious to link them, but thought I would ask to see if anyone has been able to achieve this.Kind regards,Hayley

We are trying to add downtime reporting in IFS for our Maintenance team.  We are using Apps10, where tasks have been introduced.  I see start and finish times, but i don’t see anything about downtime.  Is there someplace to record this that someone is using that we can also use? 

Hello All, I have setup and configured condition based PM Actions for my assets. However, I am still required to run the Condition Generation background job on a regular basis for my PMs to be created.I have been looking in the system to find a way to schedule this to simply run as a database task/scheduled job, but I have not found a way to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,after one year of IFS EAM usage we realized that initially created hierarchy and equipment codes are not complying with our needs and we need to change whole hierarchy  and equipment codes but retaining all PMs, WOs, Routes, Documents, Measurements, etc populated during one year.What could be the possible options of performing this operation?Or the only possible way is to perform mch_code and belongs_to values replacement all across the database ?

In IFS Apps 8, is it possible to create a PM elimination when both events are calendar based?  We have a PM trigger every 3 months for a minor vehicle service.  We also have an annual major service once a year so don’t want the minor vehicle service to trigger at the point the annual major service is triggered.Thanks in advance for any assistance with this.

Good Morning Community,We are using IFS APPS 8.I need to delete all inventory stock quantity present in Inventory part in stock window line by line from different location.How I can do this by using Migration Job.It will be very helpful If I get PPT or Document for creation migration job. 

Hi, does anyone know why the Earliest start and latest finish hour is not changing when using a specific calendar id in PM action general tab? It’s changing just the date, but the hour of the calendar is not considering. E.g. The maint org calendar is 7/3 - 24/7 time. but I insert the MAINT calendar in calendar ID that is - just 5 day a week and from 10am to 5pm. the problem is: the maintenance plan of the pm action is not changing the time, just skipping the weekends. Tks in advance

Is the single page report in work order included in Apps 10 release 8 or later? I am tasked with evaluating our modifications for uplift to Apps 10 when we upgrade next year. We have a couple of custom fields (created by IFS) in our Single Page Report Work Order in Apps 9. I do not see a comparable report in Apps 10 but I need to confirm. 

Hi All ,What would be for you all if there's a capability of defining  different running number series  for WOs as per below …    It could be referring to the  site  /  Maint Org  or as  a combination of above  two  or any other method to define different series for Work order Numbers .In my thought having this enabled it  would add some flavor to work order processing in real grounds..not sure if RnD has any other plans on handling this , like to hear what you all think on this Cheers Isuru 

Hi Everyone ,  What would be the best practice to have the Budgetary control in place for the work order activates   for any customer that is on Apps 10 and doesn't use IFs Projects , assume we have to have a yearly budget and every transaction is counting against the budget placed on the beginning of finical year.any thoughts ….

Is the Resource Navigator the only tool? For example, 5 teams/brigades of 2-3 people go to the field every day, but the composition of the teams may change every day. Maybe some mobile solution for the composition of the team management? 

Hi folks,Does anyone know if Rnd decided to remove the functionality that was available until IFS APP10 UPD7, that we could change assignment status of an employee after transfer to mobile before the user download it. After UPD8, It’s not possible any more. Could anyone help please? The situation of my customer is that it has some external employees that they do a work but don’t have license, therefore the planner needs to assign a task to them and report time using the status change of the assignment.They send to mobile because the have some users that have license.UPD 07 UPD08 and 09 - Not available anymoreTks a lot

In this particular customer project, they have 2 companies operating in China and Taiwan. China uses the simplified Chinese – Sim Sun and Taiwan uses Traditional Chinese – Ming lu. They want to see the standard reports in these respective language forms. I have already configured things for China - where the language is ‘Chinese - simplified (zh)’ with a compatible font (SimHei) and everything is working fine.  The issue I am having is that China does use the zh language code and reading into the ISO standards zh is used for both simplified and traditional by adding the sub-fixes CN and TW. IFS currently has the simplified zh language added and in the RFC 3066 code loaded as zh-CN for China as it should be. My problem is that we cannot use the zh twice as the language to get a RFC 3066 code of zh-TW loaded which should be Traditional. I tried to add the traditional Chinese language using zh and it will not allow me to enter it twice. How do I get IFS to load both fonts with the same la
