Hello, what is IFSANONYMOUS used for? What problems might deactivating it cause? Can you help me?

Hi, We are using Apps 10 and in the process of upgrading to Cloud. I downloaded Business Reporter for Cloud but now I’m not sure I can log into Business Reporter for Apps 10 any longer? How can I use both while we are in this transition? ThanksStacy

If we were to update our build place to 25R1, or any other future release version, and the impact analysis raises issues we would not have the bandwidth to resolve timely, would be able to revert our buildplace back to our current version? This would allow us to identify and review the potential impacts of performing an upgrade and make an informed business decision on whether or not to move forward with an install, based on the current business state

Is it possible to record time spent on cases within My Time Registration? We report time within the case itself, but as a company, we use the time registration to report what we are doing. So this means we have to manually enter the case information in My Time Registration.   How do we get that to automatically appear in the My Time Registration?   I feel there has to be a link? Maybe with the project. But I don’t understand how to make that connection. Thanks for any help.

I know the original guidance as of 2 years ago, was that execute online SQL was gone in 25R2. Fortunately, there was enough user concern that the decision to remove execute online SQL from event actions was delayed. We’re in 25R2 now and it works perfectly, and I see in the 26R1 notes it wasn’t removed in that version either.Has there been a determination as to which version it will be removed from? or has it (hopefully) been recognized that it’s a powerful tool the users rely on to customize the solution to their business needs and kept?

Good Day,I am in the process of implementing IFS Cloud 25R2. I am currently running the SAP application, and I need to migrate 7-year-old data to IFS Cloud. Tell me if that is possible and what are the risks come with that migration load. The reason is that our legal requirement requires us to carry 7-year-old data to the new system.RegardsRukiya

Hi All, I have come across a scenario where, company is paying supplier in advance and obtain the ownership of inventory at the point of dispatch goods from the supplier’s site.As a result of that, I need to recognize goods at the point of dispatch supplier goods in my books as inventory in transit. Once the goods arrive to our site, it should be able to recognize in inventory account as usual. Is there any recommended process, workaround implemented for other customers? Any experience you would like to share.

Hello, does anyone know how to change this awkward yellow helmit start picture on the landing zone in IFS Cloud by a nice own coorparate picture?IFS Cloud 25.1.9 and higher Thank you and P.S. what does this guy measure? 1452 what? I hope not Ampere! :-)

26R1. Using External Reports Gateway. When testing via External Reports Gateway Settings: Test Connection, an Application Message is created and a REST message is sent to the external service. However when printing this error message comes up in the Print ManagerI added an additional header in the Routing Address since my external service is only accepting x-api-key<key>, an IFS only sends Authorization: Bearer <key>.Adding x-api-key=<key> in the additional header section works when testing. Since no application message is created when printing I am unsure this is an issue when printing. Any ideas?

When I click the link to open the new Event Monitor page, this message appears… After that, Anyone knows what is that about?Regards,Elaine Berenguer

Hi,we are experiencing an issue with multilevel cost calculation for purchased parts containing manufactured parts on lower levels, which appears to have started after upgrading to IFS Cloud 26R1.The structure is approximately:Purchased Part → Manufactured Part → Manufactured Part → Purchased PartThe Purchase Cost Template has both Use Manufacturing Costs and Use External Acquired Costs enabled. Before the 26R1 upgrade, the multilevel cost calculation worked correctly with this configuration. However, after the upgrade, running All Levels Part Cost Calculation into Cost Set 2 does not roll up the lower-level manufactured structure and its costs. We were able to reproduce the behavior on multiple parts. As a test, we disabled Use Manufacturing Costs while keeping Use External Acquired Costs enabled and recalculated the same part. Without any changes to the product structure or routing, the complete multilevel structure and costs were rolled up correctly.Example:Previous Cost Set 1 (calcula

When cloning from the PRD environment to the CFG environment using "Clone Environment" in Environment Studio, data for certain custom events remained in the CFG environment instead of being deleted.Upon contacting support, I was informed that the following tables are excluded from the refresh process due to refresh rules:     FND_EVENT_ACTION*     FND_EVENT*     Custom extension tables     Configuration tablesI would like to know how to configure these refresh rules, but I haven't been able to get an answer; if anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.My goal is to refresh all tables so that the data in the target environment is exactly the same as in the source.I saw a similar issue mentioned in another post, but I am asking this question because I do not know the specific steps required to resolve it. IFSクラウドクローン|IFSコミュニティIFS最適化フレームワークにおける背景処理 - IFSクラウドの技術文書PSOでIFSクラウドをクローン(DBからPSOを無効に) |IFSコミュニティ

Hi! I’m setting up assyst to be used here at my company and I got to the ‘customization’ part of the process. When I try to change the layout, nothing happens. When I try to set a monitor or report, it stays there, but if I navigate somewhere else, when I return, it’s all blank again… I’m attaching a video so you can see what’s happening.OBS.: I’m Administrator and have the right to edit my Own HomePage. We upgraded assyst 25R2 to 26R1 recently, but I cannot tell you if this was working before, because I hadn’t had it set up at 25R2.Do I need to give some permission in order to be able to do that?

In App10 we had one dialogue, for changing company, in the whole application. In IFS Cloud, the enduser must be in a company specific screen to be able to change company. This is a big step backwards for our endusert. Does IFS have a plan for changing this ?If so, in which update will this be available?

Hi, fairly new to IFS and I’m working on helping with a cloud upgrade that’s going to be global as opposed to UK only, and some of our testers have queries about dates and time zoning. I’ve done a little testing on my own of course - with default companies and the global one (uk based) in each region with a before and after midnight time for Australia and USA and it looks like global and Australia local times set the ates correctly, but stay correct to local in other regions.  that raised a few questions I am unable to answer - Could you help? Thanks for looking into this for us.   I am not 100% clear on how you've done your tests, but our concern primarily focuses on four issues identified so far:  Some date/time fields in IFS Cloud seem to display a time zone annotation after the field on the screen, and some do not.  We have seen examples on the one screen, where two date/time fields show different time zones.   This led us to question how date/time fields behave in terms of date/ti

Hi All,When we upload a PO supplier invoice using the standard STDSIN1 template with posting information included, the posting proposal is balanced. However, the invoice is created without the PO number, PO line, and receipt number in posting information , resulting in the invoiced quantity remaining as 0 in the Purchase Receipts History. Additionally, the transaction code is set to "External" instead of deriving postings through the standard posting control. Is there a way to exclude the posting information during the invoice load and allow the system to automatically match the invoice with the corresponding PO receipts? This would enable the transaction code to derive the correct posting types and code parts through the standard posting control logic. Regards,Pavithra M M

In Report Studio there are five Dynamic Images functions.  Image, Logo, and Signature all work without issue.  I have not been able to get DBImage and Media to work.  Has anybody successfully used these two functions in Report Studio? (I know there are workarounds, I’m specifically asking about the functionality in Report Studio) To test, I put a single image in the Media Item.Following the syntax in the Tech Docs, I have tried the following:Media(‘RKS’), Media(‘1000’), Media(1000) → none display the picture in the report output.DBImage('MEDIA_ITEM','MEDIA_OBJECT','ITEM_ID=1000') , same in lowercase, same with appowner in front of the view name. → none display the picture in the report output.

Hello, does anyone know if in IFS Cloud a Quick Report (projection) can be used as a Datasource for a lobby element? Thank you! BR Herbert

HiWithin an ETM datamapper, is it possible to have returned the number of records that are found when a variable assyst search or record selection is done into a variable, please?I need to know how many active item relation records there are against an item so that I can set a flag on the item record. Thanks

Hi,With the Maintenance Planner Resource Management lobby, where does Date Range come from? Can this be configured to just look at one day/one week/two weeks?1 day horizon. When I change the planning horizon as well, the graph does not change.30 day horizon. Thanks!

Our enduser find GLBalanceAnalysis to be a window which is almost impossible to improve. Hidden columns is not saved, and prefered view is not possible to save…  Does IFS have any plans to improve this, and if, in which update?

Dear all, Currently, we are storing almost 12 million documents in our IFS CLOUD environment. In order to rein in the amount of storage that is needed for these documents, we looked into the type of documents currently stored. As for IFS setup, a document may exist in two types, namely an ORIGINAL document next to a VIEW copy, example in the picture below. Since both are taking up space (in DB or Filestorage), knowing that our company goals are met by keeping only the ORIGINAL document, I am looking for an automatic way to delete all VIEW copies of a document, where it co-exists with an ORIGINAL copy.  Since the user-interface allows deletion of just the VIEW copy in the screen above, I think a migration job would do the trick, both in selecting the right documents as in controlled deletion of the VIEW copies. Know that I do not just want to delete the VIEW copy metadata (as shown here) but also the underlying file, thus freeing up file storage. My migration job looks as follows:I am ru

We use Shop Floor Workbench with serial-tracked parts and are looking for end-to-end traceability of a serial throughout the manufacturing process. Our objective is to be able to select a serial number and view:All employees/users who worked on or reported against that serial The operations they performed The transaction date/timeIn addition, we would like to identify which operation a given serial is currently in at any point in time for a specific shop order. Is there any standard IFS functionality, report, lobby, or data source that provides this Serial → Operation → Employee traceability and current WIP operation visibility? If not, has anyone implemented a custom report or lobby that links:Serial Number Shop Order Operation Employee/User Transaction Date/Time Current WIP Operation StatusAny recommendations or best practices would be appreciated. Thanks!

All, Overtime, we build up a considerable amounts of obsolete documents in our (currently) IFS Cloud environment. With considerable, I mean 1.200.000+ documents. For storage considerations, we want to delete all documents marked as obsolete. Documents got obsolete over the years, meaning that some documents became obsolete yesterday, others are obsolete since 2019. I learned that there is this parameter, DAYS_EXPIRED, under Document Management>Basic Data>Document Class Management, that I can set to indicate how long obsolete documents should be kept before being purged. These are my questions:First question Not sure how a value for DAYS_EXPIRED is treated. If I were to specify 10 as a value, does thatremove my total population of obsolete documents, starting in 10 days (as in: the clock starts ticking now for both new and existing obsolete documents, wait 10 days and then selection and removing of all obsolete documents takes place select all documents that are obsolete for at lea
