I downloaded and tried installing the provided fix however after entering the IFSAPP password and clicking Next I received the following Parameter error:sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path validation failed: java.security.CertPathValidatorException: Path does not chain with any of the trust anchors

Hi all, Is there any documentation about what corrections, updates and new functions that have been implemented in updates of IFS Oil & Gas extensions? I am trying to add a user to a new profile. Because I have some custom field only available under a different profile. I know I can edit the personal profile. But I have more than 20 users that need to be add to the profile where I have the custom field. We are currently using IFS9

During the installation of our UPD8 delivery in the APPS10 DEV environment, the installer completed, but reported database errors. Where are these logs located (eg. server & folders locations)?

Hi All, We are currently on IFS V8 and looking at Apps 10. We are evaluating the pros and cons of using Aurena Client vs IFS Enterprise Explorer (IEE). Can you please let me know whether Aurena has all the functionalities (including Solution Manager functionalities) that IEE has or , if we choose to use Aurena in Apps 10 , will we still have to use IEE for certain things ? Considering upgrade of IFS from V7 or 7.5 to V10 or IFS Could version, what are the considerations for upgrading the CRIM elements and what are the steps involved for the upgrade.Does anyone have any documentation describing the approach, methodology and tasks involved for a version upgrade highlighting the dependencies and tasks for CRIM elements.

Good day.  I was always under the impression that deliveries and/or release updates have to be installed in sequence.   I have been asked whether you can jump from say IFS Apps 10 UPD 8 to IFS Apps 10 UPD 10 without installing UPD 9to which I replied no but wanted to double-check in case I have mis-understood.Deliveries have to be done in sequence but what about release updates? Thanking you for reading.

Hi, I have signed the application and c an see that the manifest file updates. If I click the application directly in D:\IFS\IFSExt\IFST\repository\client\runtime File name: IFS.FND.EXPLORER it works fine. If I click the link on the splash page I receive the below error. The Deployment Provider url  looks like the link is incorrect but the Deployment url has the correct link. Per IFS Update 10 “As Report Comment is now available on time reporting pages, users can easily input the comment for their work order reporting”.  We do not see this option in Time Registration. Did this not come along with the update? For projects you can enter ‘Details on current Row’ but work orders do not have that option.

This is regarding Oracle Security Patches that need to be avoided when handling the apply of UPD. These bugs:Bug 159707 Bug 159363Both these bugs contain mws.zip file, so even though it’s fetched from the quick reports of mandatory and deployment bugs. Make sure these bugs are removed before merging mandatory patches and starting the build. Hopefully these bugs will be included in Oracle CPU excel sheet so it would be easier to avoid it.

We went live last July/August and are currently on Apps 10 UPD 8 which is on Oracle 12c.The intention is to upgrade from Oracle 12c to Oracle 19c.It may be a daft question but how do we get hold of Oracle 19c.  Is this something IFS provides?Thanking you in advance for looking and your advice.

Hello ALL  We are working on a migration ERP TO IFS , and we have to migrate our tables to IFS  . For example for suppliers , we shoud migrate all the informations we have in the actual ERP into all the tabs on IFS and the under tabs. But i don’t know the order of logical units to follow to migrate infomations for suppliers ? please someone  knows how we can get the order of migration of the logical units ? :  The first one we shouls start with , the second , third . . . , because informations are linked.  Thank you so much.
