HiI am trying to open the latest IFR file for UPD21 in the configuration analyser software. I am receiving the attached error. Has anyone else experienced this issue?thanksGary 

We just moved from 22R1 to 23R1Su4. After the update our windows 11 users quite often gets bluescreen in windows when logging on to IFS. After blue screen the windows restarts. It’s happening in both Edge and Chrome browser, but  it’s a bit random and happens for about 30% of the login attepts. We have Dell Latitude laptop, and had no issues with these on 22R1.Are anyone else experiencing similar problems?

Hi all.We’ve been testing the new Conditional Formatting feature to be added in 23R1. One user inquired about whether or not its possible to utilize Conditional Formatting for Date fields. In their example, they were hoping to mark all activities past a finish date in red. The dropdown in the conditional formatting menu did not include this date. The menu does include some Date fields as options, but not all of them, and the “Condition” option only brings up the standard date selector from the filter view. Have specific date fields purposefully not been added, and is it possible to add better options to the “Condition” field for Date fields in general. Also are there any plans to adjust the dropdown list to be in alphabetical order, and allow users to type in the column name into the Formatting Attribute or Column fields to find the desired column faster. Currently the user is required to scroll down and find the correct column they wish to use. 

Hi, The customer is upgrading from APP9 to APP10UPD16 and we have been experiencing a massive slowness in the execution of the script POST_SLA_DataUpgrade.sql which is now running for over 7 hours and counting (upgrade is still ongoing). In previous upgrade iterations in the same server, the script has executed in under 2 hours. There is also an increase of around 50000 work orders in the latest data set used. Has anyone else experienced this during recent upgrades? Any performance tuning or known causes for such a slow execution?

Are the release notes for Apps 10 UPD 21 available yet. Looking on the Product Updates section I can only find up to UPD20 but as UPD 21 was due for release today I wondered if the release notes were available anywhere?Thanks

Though we don’t have any CRIM but still we are getting 2 files getting impacted as high while doing the impact analysis  which we are trying to upgrade the Customer solution repository from 22.2.7 to 23.1.2 , Could you please  help how to deal with these files to process further.  

Im facing an issue where i cannot apply my APP10 UPD20 because my existing ifs_home is corrupted. so i want to recreate the ifs_home. can any one give me a step by step guide how to achive that?

We use Folders heavily in EE and have been struggling with the end users on the use of document management in Aurena.  We use a lot of dragging between folders in the document navigator.  The only thing we have found was to copy/write down the document number - delete it from the “From” folder then connect/insert existing document to the “To” folder.  I did not find anything in Help nor in the Community. Although the Aurena vs Enterprise Explorer post from 2 years ago was very helpful.  Has anyone identified a move equivalent for this scenario?  

I came across a visual product roadmap deck somewhere in the community, but cannot find it.  Can someone please point me to a resource which defines when Apps 10 will go out of support?

Hi,we tried to update the cloud version from 21 to 22.However, it always fails when doing a new build with the updated sources.No customizations were made. We prepare the sources according to the IFS documentationhttps://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/21r2/047_lifecycle/090_release_update_studio/030_apply_release_update/ After pull from upstream , git diff show some changes   To accept all incoming changes, we run the below command according to the documentation. git checkout  - -heirs * However, we still get some errors. Since the files are no longer present in the new release and there is no solution in the documentation to fix these errors, we removed the problematic files using the “git rm *filename” command and followed the next steps according to the documentation. The build process kept failing at step [generateDatabaseFiles] with multiple errors: Missing function or entity in the log etc.Removing files seems not working, what would be the best practice to resole this kind of errors? 

In times when I worked for IFS myself (now I am with a customer) there used to be a Master Data spreadsheet that helped as a template to start digging into what master data have to be looked at in each functional area and also to assign responsibilities in the organisation. Is there still something out there?

Hi Everyone,I have posted here as there appears to be nowhere to post relating to IFS admin / infrastructure.Does anyone have any thoughts on the best way to auto-shutdown a Windows Server environment that runs IFS APPS10 in the event of an extended power outage?We were told to shut the system down in a very specific and manual way when I did the IFS admin training about 18 months ago:shut down TA and Reports virtual servers   run shutdown script on MW virtual server then shut it down run shutdown script on DB server then shut it downThis is fine when you are doing a manual shutdown but what about when there is a power outage?I can get my UPS to send shutdown requests to the windows servers in our infrastructure, but this would just shut them down. Does anyone have a setup that allows them to run the required scripts in the required order then shut down the IFS servers?My specific environment is a Windows Hyper-V cluster (2016) running a mixture of WIndows Server 2016 and 2019 virtual

Hi! We get below update message each time user log in to IFS Cloud Business reporter. Does anyone know where I can see release note?  Should we update as soon as we get this message? What happen if we won’t do? Is there any way to get rid of this message pop up for all user each time logging in?    Thanks!

Is there a way to compare two different environments to determine differences in configuration?For instance, compare a UAT or TST environment to the current PROD environment.Could the Update Analyzer or Configuration Manager be used for this?

Hi All!We are planning to upgrade customer environment from IFSAPP9 to IFS Cloud version.Also, we have made some modifications - the new forms were created.And customer would like to save these modifications on new IFS version.Is there any tool to facilitate the execution of an upgrade task, meaning converting existing IEE form code to Aurena page code?Maybe some kind of code parsing/refactoring/converting tool?Does anybody have such issue in customer project?Thanks in advance!Best regards,EPSDANMI
