I am currently experiencing the following when logging into our Cloud instance using any account other than IFSAPP.Error:Metadata not found.        Url: https ://XXXXXXX.cloudapp.net/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/RemoteAssistanceHandling.svc/IsUserActive(FndUserId='USERID')         Date = 2022-11-03T12:18:17.445Z        Request Id = fbfbf77c-1b7f-46e7-ba9d-bbfd21081cb5        Client version = 22.1.5.20220804125354.0 Once the error is dismissed the system seems to run fine. TIA for any help on this.

1.  Download the “Getting Started with the IFS Enhancement Index Tool” zip file you need, which is attached to this topic.2.  Unzip the files to a directory like “IFS Apps Enhancement Index”.  Once you have extracted it to a directory you should see a file named “Getting Started with the IFS Enhancement Index Tool”.3. Open the file and follow the directions in the Getting Started document.

Hi,we ‘ve upgrade our Apps 10 to Ifs Cloud for test.We can connect the Middle Tier Server and open the landing-page. After clicking “Open IFS Cloud” we becomes an “401 -  Authorization  Required”What is the problem?Regards Thomas

Run release update to 23R2. DB step i ready, looks like it is a problem when setup of MWS or environment. No log files in Environment logs. Need to restart Sanity build many times to get it completed. Where do i find all log files?

According to the release schedule for IFS Applications 10, update 22 was released yesterday (December 7 2023). I have tried to find information via the Product Updates pages on the Community without luck. Where can I find the release notes for UPD22?Thank you!

Hi, Where can I get the configfile as a partner to do app10 UPD21 update. IFS Citrix has one account for our customer and when we try to generate the config file from LCS, i get the message we are not authorized to fetch the configfile. Please let me know how I can get the configfile when I cannot download it from LCS portal in IPE.and also let me know if there is any post that has guidelines that partner must follow to do an UPD update to apps10. Regards,Roshith Shetty

Hello, I was wondering what the latest patches are for Oracle/IFS These are our current environment patches.  What is the latest Delivery?  What critical patches are required? Can we stay on UDP 14/Delivery 2017? Or should we go ahead and update. Trying to figure out which latest patches are required. Thank you for your help! 

After installing UPD18, all .trs files are available in both the installation files and the IEE application, but lobby translations have stopped working while other translations remain functional. Have you or anyone you know experienced a similar issue? If so, what steps were taken to resolve the problem?

How to update IFS Apps 10 from UPD 10 to UPD 21 Please provide the procedure. Thank You.

We are working in Cloud 23.1.3 and developing our Business Opportunity work process. Are there any best practice recommendations against renaming the tabs such as changing the tab from Sales Process to Quote/Sales Process?  We have made the change and done some testing without any issues discovered so far.  Is there anything that would discourage us from making this change?  Is it something that could cause problems with updates?

Recognizing the complexity of this journey, my immediate concern is finding the most effective method for tracking changes in IFS.Our current challenge is the limited documentation of various IAL modifications, custom fields, triggers, etc., implemented to tailor the ERP system to our specific business needs. To address this, we've started exporting new changes as Application Packages. However, I'm looking for a more comprehensive solution.Additionally, we've used IFS Developer to create and deploy several Logical Units (LUs) that address industry-specific requirements, providing us with more control over certain aspects of the code. We’ve just deployed Apps 10 UPD20 to our TEST environment and the first thing we have noticed is that lobby tiles with ‘long’ names no longer show on two lines. They are truncated to 1 with ….at the end.We now have a number of tiles with the same name shown in IEE - and a fun job to rename them. Is there a setting that has become valid - or can anyone shed some light onto the IFS Developer Mindset? Thanks,Matt​​​​​​​

For 22R2, release notes came out late - on the day of the release. I’m unaware of any other major ERP waiting until launch day to inform their base what’s coming. Instead, both summary and comprehensive (yet trackable) detail is shared 30-60 days in advance. For 23R1, what can we expect around release notes - and when? The release is coming out later this year, so we’re now in the sweet spot to help us manage change in my experience.What I hope to avoid beyond (waiting until May 25) is having to go module announcement by announcement to gather the highlights. And then seeing bullet 15.7 on the release summary (under Procurement) referencing supplier hierarchies as something to consider when updating. Then have to go to the 23R1 help docs to learn about 3.4.7.1 Manage Supplier Hierarchy… Happy to share more of my past experiences and expectations via this thread or directly. Thank you,Russell

We have considered whether we can install IFS Apsps 9 middleware on a Server 2019. According to IFS documents this is not possible.Has anyone had any experience with this?Is anyone running IFS Apps 9 on a Server 2019? Thanks in advance
