Hi All, We are in the planning phases of our upgrade and would love to hear from customers that have been through the upgrade or are in the process. We are around 800 users and use the following in IFSFinancials including leasing, Group consolidation. Procurement. Manufacturing. Project Service and Maintenance including MWO and PSO HR for time reporting.We use Power BI and are currently using Novacura for integration. Timeline - Planned or actual? Benefit of migration vs re-implementation Technical advantages/challenges - Heard about the challenge with permission set migration and not clear about direct database access. Performance improvements that you see compared to Apps10? Thank you for your inputs.

Does anyone know if Oracle 19c Databases Instances using Automatic Memory Management will be supported by IFS 10 application UDP 17?

Hey all,An employee would like to search for the phone number of a customer in Account Contacts to find him/her faster, however, currently there is no formatting standard employed for phone numbers. By this, I mean that a phone number can look like any of the following examples:+46 123 4567012-345 67012-345670 1234567 etc…This means that if I wanna find all instances of this phone number, I would only get the phone numbers that are uninterrupted (which might not even exist). Before this employee was able to search for any phone number using the following sql search:replace(replace(replace(replace(replace(PHONE,'(0)',''),' ',''),')',''),'(',''),'-','') like '%760400560' orreplace(replace(replace(replace(replace(MOBILE,'(0)',''),' ',''),')',''),'(',''),'-','') like '%760400560'The issue currently is that the Advanced search in IFS Cloud does not recognize “replace”: CrmCustomerContact/CustomerContactOverviewPage (server error)Malformed Request.Error details: [{"code":"EXPRESSION_PROPERTY

I created a custom object in IFS cloud, but it is not listed in the page designer business representatives. Seems custom fields are not used before in the system. Any material which says A-Z flow or any advice?

Dear All, We are currently working on an IFS upgrade project to transition one of our IFS customers from IFS 9 UPD 14 to IFS Cloud. We have completed our first upgrade iteration and have upgraded the customer to IFS Cloud 23 R1. The customer belongs to the telecom sector, and work orders from IFS applications are the main area they are utilizing. During this initial iteration, it took 78 hours and 20 minutes to execute the main upgrade script. Out of this total time, 72 hours and 52 minutes were spent on post-installation data file deployment. Within this time frame, the work order module related files took up 69 minutes and 37 minutes. We have an IFS 7.5 (IFS on Windows server 8 and Oracle 11g on RHEL 6.1) application, we want to do only OS and DB upgrade. We want to upgrade from Windows server 8 to windows server 19 and oracle 11g to 19C. is the IFS 7.5 will support these latest OS and DB upgrade?

Hello, Is there any way how set up notification, that there are new courses added to IFS Academy?? It would be very helpfull if it would be possible to set subscription, and receive email notifications about new courses.Is there any functionality like this? Or something similar?  Thank you 

You can’t pass string values through quotation marks to 'select’ queries in custom fields that you are going to use in reports. When you pass string values through quotation marks, it generates an ‘Error ORA-00936’ Oracle error. To avoid this, you have to pass string values using APIs.

Hello All,I was in connect with out very old customer using IFS 7 SP1.Now they are willing to get themselves on IFS10.Wanted to know is there a possibility to upgrade from IFS7 SP1 version to IFS10 directly?I am aware that IFS 7.5 can be upgraded, but not sure on IFS 7.or reimplementation is the only option?Thanks,Hardik

Hello!I hit a rock wall (again) and I was hoping to get some advice. I have a data source that is a subtable in “Object Serial” looking at the Warranties table. IFS9 by the way View: &AO.OBJECT_CUST_WARRANTY_UIVWARRANTY_SYMPTOM_STATUS = 'Active' and Valid_until > (sysdate - 180) and &AO.CUST_ORD_CUSTOMER_API.get_salesman_code(&AO.Part_serial_catalog_api.Get_owning_customer_no(part_no,serial_no)) = '$Salesman$'And the element URL points toifsapf:frmSerialObject?$filter=Part_no eq $[Part_no] and Serial_no eq $[serial_no]However, when you click on the element, you get an error regarding Valid_until, which is a not a value in Serial Object (it’s from the Warranties subtab). I’m sure there’s a way to bypass the need to use a identifier. Any help?

Error is: Error when creating IFS Middleware Domain.null @org.python.core.Py.JavaError(Py.java:368)Configuring IFS PSO Integration 1.0Configuring Documentation after the installation completed with errors then canst start the environment also can't run re-configuration.Even when i start the node manager service still can't run re-configuration.

Hey,As a European, it is very annoying to see the dates in the following US format:Is there a way to adjust the default date format as it appears to me? For example I’d like to have 2016-05-07instead of7/5/2016.I have tried to change the languages and things, but that doesn’t help much because I don’t want my IFS in another language, just the date format to change.

When a new delivery has been made, the customer must ensure the rebasing is done in the Page Configurations.This process seems very fragile, where a wrong step can cause the delivery to fail and not be applied in the applicable place in the system.The answer from IFS when this happens is that the delivery must be redone.Is there a plan to strengthen the system framework to allow for roll back to be able to redo the rebasing when needed?Or to have some warning to let the customer know that the rebasing is being done incorrectly?It seems kind of fragile that one mistake can wreck a delivery that could have been months in the planning,Br Hans

2 days ago CoS has released a new IFS Developer Studio version that needs to be used from IFS Applications 10 UPD24 onwards.There's a legacy version for UPD levels below 24 available.My question is: Can the NEW version of IFS Developer Studio be also used to develop and generate code for UPD levels below 24 in The IFSAPP10 track? Or do we have to switch the tools according to the UPD version?
