Currently our Destination Address in IFS2004 is point to an ESP server using HTTP, but there is a project starting to upgrade the ESP server to use HTTPS.  I was wondering if anyone knows if that is possible with IFS 2004 ?Has anyone done it successfully?Thanks Lyndesay

Hello,  Does anyone have the use case where they are creating a Transport Order on the Hub and want to receive on in the satelite?  We have a error when trying to receive the transport order in the satelite which says ‘the value of the inventory transaction may not be 0 for part 2047348 on site UNY. ‘ On investigation this is due to 2 tables not replicating.The same transport order can be received within the hub. 

Hello, Currently IFS allows manually update the ship to DUNS/Delivery DUNS numbers in the Customer window>Address tab> Customer’s own address ID. So the address details also associated with this ID in the same window. But all these stuffs are manual works. For example if we have a thousands of delivery duns numbers for a one particular customer, is there any alternative ways to do this task rather doing one by one manually? Is there any way that we can upload this through external templates or any other places in Apps 10? BR,Vimukthi

Hi, Guys,I’m wondering whether there is an out-of-box solution for NCNR (Non-cancelable, no-returnable) order in IFS order module.  Basically I just want to add some extra control over an order lifecycle, blocking normal customer orders to be changed or cancelled, rejecting RMA automatically... Searching IFS documentation, it seems no such terminology yet…  I know we could have a customized solution by twisting the order flow logic, but really prefer to utilize an standardized solution from IFS if possible.  Thanks a lot in advance!Best,David Cheng

I’m trying to create a custom field on Customer Order Line which returns the sum of total Available qty across multiple sites.  We have parts in stock on multiple sites so the sales team would like to see, when raising an order on the ‘main’ sales site, if there is available stock on any of the other sites in the same company.  This works when running a query in PL/SQL ...(selectsum(IFSapp.Inventory_Part_In_Stock_API.Get_Inventory_Quantity  (contract,part_no,configuration_id,'AVAILTRANSIT','NOT EXPIRED','NETTABLE','CONSIGNMENT','COMPANY OWNED', NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,'PICKING','F','MANUFACTURING','PALLET','DEEP','BUFFER','DELIVERY','SHIPMENT',NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,'TRUE','FALSE',NULL,'*'))from inventory_part_in_stock IPISwhere ipis.CONTRACT IN ('ABC','ABD') AND       ipis.PROJECT_ID is null ANDIPIS.part_no = colc.part_no) … but when adding as a custom field (even when only joining on part number - IPIS.part_no = :part_no) the field only returns the available qty in the site the Cu

We’re able to see Multi Level Structure per part on the Product Structure screen and can simulate demand on the Multilevel Availability Check screen, but I’m wondering if there’s a way to see all Multi Level Structures for all parts or Simulate Total Demand for several quantities of parent structures at once.

Hi Community. We work in the Aviation industry, and often we use External Service Orders, (ESO) to send parts from stock to a repair station to get them repaired and then returned for us to fit back onto aitcraft. Often we send parts out that may come back with a modification carried out that changes their part number slightly, and therefore changes the fit/form/function of the part. For example, a part 101-11 may be sent out, then returned as a 101-15. It will often keep it serial number if serial tracked. Currently we use the Alternate Parts functionality to register 101-15 as an alternate for a 101-11, then we use the “Change Receipt Conditions” to change this to receipt in the correct part from the supplier,  however due to the modification, this is not truly accurate, as the modified part (101-15) may not have the same characteristics, or uses as the original part (101-11). The only alternative we have considered is receipting in the original part, 101-11, then performing a part n

My client is using IFS7.5 and facing the issues which previous supplier schedule header can be removed automatically.Today is January, 10th, 2024 but I can not see previous Supplier Schedule Header which were created order than October, 11, 2023 depends on Part No.They are not using Plan to keep and Call Off to keep parameters and also I don’t see any clean up schedule tasks in IFS.Is there anyone who has like this issue before?

We are seeing a number of failed e-mail messages out of IFS.  We are on Apps 10 UPD16.The error we are seeing on the outgoing messages is “SMTP Send Failed Exception, concurrent connection limit exceeded.”.  We are checking the limits allowed though exchange.Our issue is that in IFS connect the settings we have against MAIL_SENDER1 is MAX RETRIES = 60 and RETRY INTERVAL = 60.  With these settings in IFS Connect I think the Failed application messages should be retried every 60 seconds on 60 attempts, but this does not appear to be happening.Any assistance hear would be appreciated.

Why the checkbox "Rebate Builder" auto selecting upon changes in customer order line?Test Steps:Create a customer order and add line Unselect the checkbox in CO line column “Rebate Builder” and save Change the order line quantity or wanted date System automatically select the “Rebate Builder” checkbox (even without saving)In the help it’s written that this box is selected by default. Shouldn’t this change be remembered, even if changes are made later on the line?

Hi all, Wondering if anyone has dealt with unreceiving a part in IFS. Specifically, let’s say there is the following scenario: Receiver in warehouse receives items on PO 12345. After completing receiving, it is discovered that something is wrong with part/they over received/or something else causing the need to “Unreceive” parts.  Does anyone have this function turned on in IFS and if so, do you have some pros & cons and best practices on dealing with these situations?Any information on what potential implications could arise from unreceiving - first thought is Finance with invoicing, etc.  Thank you,Steph

Hi,I would like to know whether we can select only a necessary set of Action Usages from a certain Projection action and give only access to perform those selected Action Usages to a users.In this example I want to give a set of users only the access to Reserve and Create Picklist in shipment handling. I do not want this set of users to have access to other actions such as Deliver and Report picking. Thanks in Advance!

Hi,We’re stumbling upon an issue where the benefit we see in using Handling Units is not in reach.The use case is that we manufacture many small parts on different Shop Orders, these parts are engineered-to-order and therefore manufactured via DOP and automatically Pegged to the Top Level in the DOP Header. This results in automatically Reserved Qty as of Shop Order Receipt of these small parts.The issue we’re facing is that these parts can be up towards 100 different part numbers which we then want to attach to a Handling Unit for efficient inventory movement, but this is not possible without unreserving these parts.Neither is it possible to connect the same Handling Unit to multiple different Shop Orders, to receive them onto the connected Handling Unit.Any proposals on how to solve this issue, preferably with core functionality or configurations are highly appreciated.Thanks,Alexander

Parts Delivered to CustomerWhen the supplier has informed you that the parts are delivered to your customer and you have entered the direct delivery in your system, the purchase order is automatically closed. The status on the purchase order is changed from Released or Confirmed to Closed. The customer order receives the status Delivered, and the customer can be invoiced. This assumes that no partial deliveries remain on either order. If the supplier has partially delivered an order and for any reason is not able to fully deliver the order, it is possible to manually close the purchase order. We are trying to use the above process, but when the parts are received the PO is closed, but the customer order is NOT being updated, thus we are unable to invoice the customer.  Is there a setting or configuration needed to make this work? Supply Chain personnel get a Warning message when they register the Direct Delivery.  Message says that the customer order has been cancelled or unpegged from

Hi,I'm currently trying to add new command to the Suppliers page, which leads to SQL quick report based on this entity. I need the quick report to run just on the selected suppliers. Is there a way to do it? There is a possibility to add parameter when creating the command, but I cannot figure out how to make it work.Adding SQL Quick report command parameterI believe that selection should be based on SupplierId from the selected supplier(s). So I put it into the “Context value” on the right. But what should go into “Destination Attribute field?Also - is there necessary WHERE clause in the Quick Report SQL statement, or should I leave it without it? 

Hi,We are on Apps10 - looking at a way of ensuring 1 Purchase Order Direct CO line will go to 1 Purchase Order. We are using Order Processing Types to go straight to Released PO. It could be collecting a number of CO lines and putting onto 1 PO. We could also accept 1 CO linking to 1 PO - e.g. 3 products on the same PO that relate to the 1CO, but not another 4 that relate to a different one.Would like Standard functionally - but well versed in Custom Config if that is needed.Edit: just to add - we are using Non-Inventory Sales Parts sourced from a Non-Inventory Purchase Part. Many thanks, Matt

Hi to the community!I need help with the interco flow in 23R1 for a customer.I have set up an interco flow where the external customer order generates an internal purchase order. My sales item is set up with the "Direct Main Supplier" approval code.I'm having the following problem: when I release my external sales order, my purchase order is generated, but it's created in "Planned" status. I have to release it manually and press "Send order" for the internal customer order to be generated. In the background tasks, I get the following message:Does anybody know what I may I have done wrong ?When I send th PO manually, I have to register the “Media code” but I do not understand why as I have done all the parameters. I also have another question: in my opinion, when I set my flow to "Direct main supplier", when the internal sales order is delivered, the purchase order is automatically received and the external sales order changes to "Delivered" status. Hi all, For a client we’re trying to set up a Delivery Route linked to our internal customers with two departures per day. The Business Requirement is to have a shuttle leaving in the morning and in the afternoon. This shuttle will leave from the logistics warehouse and deliver to a route of internal production sites. We have created the following Delivery Route for this:IFS > Delivery RouteThis Route was attached to all internal customers on the address level. When creating a CO the route is automatically filled in the Order Details. When adding a CO Line, the Planned Ship/Date should change according to the Wanted Delivery Date and pick the departure in the morning or in the afternoon. The Planned Delivery Period should then fetch this information in order to display a period linked to the assigned calendar (Site or Customer level).The problem is that the Planned Ship/Date always picks the departure route in the morning. Has anyone worked with multiple deliveries per day yet in th
