Hi,I wrote client script to close request with alert based on some condition , below i mentioned client script code. HiHow can i add a description to a custom report so that it is displayed alongside the report name in the reports screen.  

HelloI’m developing our use of Service and Maintenance module (not used before). I am struggling to find a screen view to see the hours actually reported against a WO when an employee uses the Report Time page to enter their time.Any help much appreciated, Sarah

Hi Team,  I am trying to configure App Param "RECEIVED_TASK_EVENT" but I can not see the task.last_received_person_id or task.last_received_dttm consistently set.The app param description is as follow,“The Event Type used to determine if a Task has already been received on a mobile device. When populated, a Task Event Generation business rule must be configured to create this task event when LAST_RECEIVED_PERSON_ID changes from empty to populated.”Need to understand how the baseline code is setting last_received_person_id, and last_received_dttm when the mobile user has "received" the task? how can I configure RECEIVED_TASK_EVENT app param? and what are the possible Param Values that can have?Thank you in advance for your help on this. Regards,Wickram B. 

I’m trying to make layout changes to the Touch App for a Service Engineer. One of the pages is the Pool Work. When I select Resource Group (Un)defined I get a proper list. However I want to make changes to the data shown (add field, move them around). I have opened the page designer and get the following:In other pages I was able to use the > sign at item 1 or in some cases the 3 dots at 2 would open up more. But not for this PoolTasksList. Anyone an idea? Regards,Steve

What should I do to transfer data from Excel to IFS? When I want to transfer the bill of materials or create a list with too many lines, For example, I want to transfer the materials entered collectively by the design department from excel to the IFS program.Which method do you use?

Serial Entered In Serial Structure Information is not flowing to MRO Disassembly Shop order(Receive MRO Shop Order), as we have to enter Manually  in Receive MRO Shop Order), is there any configuration to flow the entered serial from Serial Structure Information to MRO shop Order.

Does anyone know if the Aurena Native Apps Support Persistent Custom Fields of Type Reference.  I am working with mWo Service 10 and I am able to add Text Fields, Numbers, Date and Enumerations but I am unable to add a reference field…. Am I doing something wrong?  Anyone have an idea when this will be available?

Hello,I have a user that is not able to have a Refund in a Work Order display in the Invoice Preview. The pricing for the Refund Items is not transferring. Do they have to be manually entered? Is there a different step/process to follow from a regular (positive) invoice item? Thank you in advance.

Please can anyone help explain an issue we are having with the Place Lookup on the IFS6 u6 customer portal… We 710 portal places per portal user, when you bring up the place lookup from the new request screen, the popup place lookup states that it is showing 699 places (and it is as I counted them), not the 710 that we have loaded (if I look in the metadata for that screen, there are indeed 710 places)  These 610 places are also sorted randomly, not in order.  if you only have a small amount of places then they are sorted.  I have had as little as 370 places in the list but these also did not sort.Would greatly appreciate if anyone could assist with this.

Does anyone know of a Grammar Checking Software that can integrate with IFS?  How are others dealing with grammatical issues that come from Field Engineer’s in the Service Management realm? 

I believe there is some limit that is being exceeded (Timeout=100000). Do we know if these emails are being sent asynchronously? Customer is trying to email a large volume of smtp  email messages, we get an error, but in smaller groups of emails around 100-125 they are processed without error. I am trying to access the list data in the ‘task’ list on the ‘My Tasks Today’ page on the Tech Portal.  I have tried:   var listData=getFormDataLists('task');var listLength=listData.length;alert(listLength);   But this just returns 0, when there are tasks there?   What i am trying to do is retrieve the tasks, then cycle through them and then performing a dirty read on a checkbox i have added (user_def2), any that are checked will then be updated.

How could I change time type automatically on a work task  time report based on time of day? I have a service work order with service contact. Customer says you can visit the site M-F 8-4. Anything outside those hours we can bill overtime.  Ideas how i can do that in apps 10?  I know about scheduling preference and scheduling availability but nothing that translates availability into pricing markups. AKA coverage time. 

Hello :)  Can I add pictures to the e-mails sent by the system? 

All application messages are pending in transaction state. No messages could be completed and notifications are not being sent. How can I fix this situation?Also, some background jobs are not completed.

Hi,We are facing to weird display issues in PSO 6u5 about the activities.In the Ressources screen, in activities pane, they dont want to be displayed. And some buttons issue occur, they are not displayed correctly (no label) for example. Schedule Assistance screen have the same issue.so we can not operate with activities...  Dataset is provided by Apps10 u9.Thanks,Sébastien.

Hi, does IFS (Apps 10) have native functionality to lock records for editing, or if not, are there plans to implement such a feature?In particular with Work Orders, our Planners are asking whether its possible for a Work Order to be “locked” while they’re in there so others can’t make changes.We are aware this is the intention of the “Under Preparation” status indication on WO’s, but they’re asking whether it can be an automatic lock/unlock instead.

Hi AllWe are on IFS Apps 10 and have recently tried to add a new logical printer to IFS. This is our first time adding a new printer. Our Application and Print Servers are separate to spread the load with the print server hosting all print and reporting services.On our Print Server we have completed:Installed the Printer Drivers and created a Print QueueUpdated the config file (ifs-printagent-config.xml)Restarted the Print Service (IFSPAService_IFSL)Within the Application we have:Created the new logical printer with the same name/ case as the print queue on the print server and what is in the config file (e.g. TESTPRINTER1)Attempted to print a report.On the Print Jobs screen in IFS we get the following error:“The Print Job can not be printed. The selected printer is not mapped to any Print Agent.”When I check the Print Service logs on the Print Server it is full of errors similar to:“[059] 15/10/2020

Hello, I’ve noticed an issue that I believe is the result of a misconfiguration on our tenant. Currently, our maintenance group is able to log into Work Orders for repairs. They can clock out and close the WO as well, all while being off the “payroll” timeclock. I assumed the behavior for S&M was the same as the shop floor clocking. In the event an associate tries to clockin to a Shop Order, the system would prompt them and state that they are not clocked into timeclock. They are then automatically clocked in. Likewise, they cannot clock out of timeclock if they are still clocked into a Shop Order. This behavior doesn’t appear to be available for the service and maintenance group. Is this correct, or can the same functionality be extended to that group? My concern is that there will be a lot of errant clocking if S&M users are able to independently log time to WOs and clock on and off timeclock without any cross checking. Thank you!

How would you suggest going about setting up a service contract line to have a minimum service charge?  For example, for a particular work type, the customer will be billed a minimum 4 hr labor charge and anything over that would be at a set hourly rate.
