Service (Touch Apps, MWO, MRO)

I'm looking for guidance on modifying the fields displayed in the Work Task section of the MWO app, specifically on the "My Work" tile.Could anyone advise on how to customize which fields are shown, such as description, work type, priority, object, etc.?Additionally, if we need to introduce a new field for display purposes, what's the process for adding it?Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Hi,This problem is occurring in IFS APPS8.I have made changes to a custom enumeration list logged on as IFSAPP. Published the changes and reloaded the configuration and verified that the changes are then visible in the relevant screen which is  Report in Work Order.However, when I log in as another user the list of values that should appear as a drop down list for the relevant column in the Report in Work Order screen is blank. 2 values were added to a list that originally contained 3 values.While logged on as user nguild (instead of IFSAPP) I can actually go to the Custom Enumeration screen (view Custom Objects from the context menu) and view all of the values in the list but I can’t see them in the drop down list for the column in the Report in Work Order screen. Can anyone point me to the solution to this problem please? Cheers,Neil.    

Is there a way to work offline in the MWO Maintenance application? And if so, will you please explain how? Right now when we login we have to enter the server URL. Thank you!   

Hello, Glad there is now a new Parts Usage - Service view in the new 23R1, but I noticed that the count/total does not account for those parts/materials that were also unissued where it does not reflect the true issued quantity.Is there a possible fix? 

Hello,We installed TouchApps Server to test environment and we are trying to test NotifyMe application. Someones said that TouchApps Server needs paid license. Is it true?

Tetra Pak uses Pool Keep tasks to report Internal work. The pool keep tasks stay in the mwo app for a long duration and due to that if all the pool keep tasks are allowed in the app it may cause performance issues. Due to this we have introduced an entity filter, which will filter out the Pool keep tasks belong to the Resource’s Primary site and will synchronize to the mwo application. This works fine in the mwo users perspective as they only see the pool keep tasks belong to the primary site.  However, creating the entity filter does not stop triggering the Push Queue by the unwanted pool keep tasks. Even though they are (pool keep tasks created for sites other than the primary site) not shown in the app, the Push Queue keep getting triggers. This can cause Performance issues.  To stop push queue getting triggers, the ownership query of the Entity need to be altered. This cannot be done through configuration. We are in IFS10 We are trying to use the MRO Shop Order Screen to Receive non-functioning parts.Then make a determination that the Parent Part is bad but salvage some child parts (Piece Parts).  We would like these child parts to end up in inventory.  We want to track the labor and cost of the child (piece) parts.The MRO Shop order screen does not allow us to add records at this time.  Possible basic data set up that needs to be completed.

Hello to everyone,We’re looking to work with mobile devices and found that when the Work Task is trasferred to the mobile, we cannot anymore update the status from IFS Cloud (even if we use the APIs, please see screenshot below). Does IFS have API/Projections that updates Mobile (which will update later IFS Cloud)?  

Hi,The documentation on NotifyMe App, describes a step to “Register the Mobile App”.Is there a document explaining the process? [IFS Cloud - 23R1 UPD 6] My Status:I have created the Azure Notification Hub. And the notifications are received to the Notification Hub.Which means the Notifications are sent from IFS Cloud successfully to the notification hub. i.e. Application parameters in IFS Cloud are correctly defined. The Notification Hub metrics shows that the requests have failed. Understandably this is due to not setting up the Google and Apple settings which requires keys from the development team.Thank you,Sanjaya

Hi experts,I see two types of main error in Customer as below.  regarding the error 1, what can we do to sort this, it seems this is happening when there is no DB record but we see many such errors. Does that means data got deleted? Regarding error 2.Can we ignore failes appliction messages connected to mobiles  if the same marked as completed in Sync transaction screen as stated in below post, if I am not mistaken? Appreciate for your input. Best Regards,KM

Hi all, We have gone live with Cloud 23.3 mWO Service Engineer app. Many of our techs are reporting the app crashes often. I’m suspecting it is when the app goes to background tasks and the returning to the main screen. Has anyone seen it before? Is it an Android thing - perhaps trying to kill background jobs?The devices are on Android 13 (Galazy A34 5G)  

Hi All.I’m facing this situation where it takes a long time to sync a single task to mobile user, about 30 40 minutes. The user need to initialize the app to receive the task. Using Apps10 UPD17, MWO Maintenance app Aurena. Sync Task [10565723] of User [FRSA] Device [27559] - Still executing... Database Process is waiting for MWS. Any ideia what might it be?

Hi all, Have an issue with some parts that were added on the work task and sent to mWO (service engineer) aren’t showing the issue button. When I add the same part manually within mWO itself, the issue button shows. Any idea why? Android and Windows app show the same behaviour. Thanks  

I have been asked a question from a client and this may be for all you Fleet Management and HCM gurus!  The customer wondered if we have the capabilities of getting GPS tracking functions and  whether we have the facility or record drivers in the operation of their trucks.I know mWO has GPS functionality but has anyone ever encountered these requests outside of the use of mWO?  There are devices that do both and can be integrated with other systems. Any input would be appreciated!  Thanks!

I’ve read similar topics but the answers are not helping in my scenario. Currently, when a transport task is executed, mobile users must either do a full initialization or need to manually sync ‘inventorypart’ and ‘inventorypartinstock’ in order for the recipient to get an in-transit record to receive the part. What is the most efficient way (and causes the least performance reduction) to make these entities sync after the transport task has been executed? Is there a custom event that needs to take place, do I edit the entity to sync ‘on changes’, etc..? Thank you for your assistance.  

When we move a part Via MWO using Transport task from one Remote warehouse to another remote warehouse, ever time receiver Remote warehouse User through his mobile has to initialize, then it will show in move stock screen, its not working when we Sync, is there any setup we missed, can any one know to avoid initialization process.
