Hi,

 

I am having an issue assigning service technicians to maintenance organizations and reporting time against them. We do not use the HR module but I have them in as company employees. They have primary sites assigned to them in sites per user. They are assigned to a resource group that is used in Maintenance and Service. I cannot assign them to a maintenance organization nor can I report time for them in the work task. 

I checked the Maintenance tab in Site and don’t see anything related there. What else can I do to get the Service techs into maintenance orgs?

Hi Alexander,

I did several times and I was not allowed to save even though my technicians are company employees. The only thing I can figure out from the documentation is that there is no primary site for these technicians and there can’t be because I can’t set a Person up in Sites per user? They can only be connected to site in Resource Connections but IFS doesn’t seem to be looking at that tab.

 

I cannot save.

 

Please disregard. We just installed an update and now this is working as it should.
