@Eleazar_AyaviriCarrillo this is by design as you can see from the message above. Can you elaborate on your business scenario that needs changes on the Work Task after transferring to Mobile?
Hi @Rukmal Fernando , sure.
The situation is the following:
We would like to integrate with a ThirdParty app. We send all the tasks to the IFS Mobile app from with Released status. The ThirdParty app starts the Work Task by an event on their side performing changes (eg. status change), therefore ThirdParty app sends a message payload to IFS Connect, IFS Connect receives the message and do the properly update by using the correct Projections/APIs/Entities.
Thank you for your support.
@Eleazar_AyaviriCarrillo have you tried setting up your integration so that the Work Task being sent to mobile is triggered by the integration?
What is the 3rd party app? If you are sending the tasks to IFS Mobile App I am confused why you would want to change status from a 3rd party app.
As Rukmal says, this restriction in changing status when the task is transferred to IFS Mobile App is by design - as the app is offline capable we do not want other users changing status as this would introduce failed transactions.
Cheers
James
