Where is it possible to answer the eform? Would the output be in Survey Answers? 

How do you set up the maintenance survey answer output to construct a certificate?And how do you print this certificate?

In Apps 10, we are able to create new Service Requests from a Template. Cloud 23R2 doesn’t have this functionality. Is it in the pipeline for a future release or is there another way to achieve the same, thanks

Hi, Can anyone help with below queries ? User is trying  to connect an equipment object to a document revision, whether object ID has period sign.Error raised and cannot connect the object.“Invalid use of data delimiter in object type EquipmentObject.If one of the values contains a period, you can use a comma, semicolon, or colon as a delimiter instead.” Question 1: Is there any specific reason as to why period sign needs to be avoided ? Question 2: Then as a workaround, if you connect the object using objects tab in the document revision form, object description is not displayed until you save the record. (However the object can be connected without getting the delimiter error).Is this something that should be corrected, so that user can see the description, before saving the record ?

The current process to update an approved Miscellaneous allocation for a technician solely using MWO seems to be not available with the existing functionality. There are some customer requirements where they need MWO users to have the facility to do some alterations for the approved miscellaneous allocations from MWO application itself rather than going for the IFS Cloud platform. The current design where allocations are effectively “locked” down with approval functionality, could be enhanced to a more flexible and useful solution. Is it possible to connect a survey to either a serial object or a service object? If so, could someone show how?

​ We’re trying to configure TAS server for Apps 10 using IFS Technical Documentation and stuck on this step:We started going through the prerequisites and got to this step to load the software. It shows there is nothing to install.  According to Microsoft, they’ve made this software end of life and there was an online “feed” of products the software would pull from Microsoft but that service has been shutdown.How can we get access to the prerequisite Web Deploy software now?  

In MWO, there is no equipment object basic datathere are relevant configuration page in ifs10, which page corresponds to ifs cloud？I set a filter, but it didn't workIn other words, what are the correct configuration stepsthanks！ 

Today, almost all of the Page Configurations for the ServiceEngAPP and MaintEngAPP are handled in one page/Client Model and needs to be redone after each Service Update (and Release). To make it more manageable and to simplify the rebase and installation of configurations, each page in the APP should be handled as a separate page/client model in Page Configurations. I.e. the just as the Cloud-pages are handled today. Applies to release up to and including 23R2.

Hi,My customer is using IFS Cloud and has a scenario where engineer will be raising WOs via technician portal or MWO for the specific project activity. As standard, I can’t see a way to connect newly raised job to the project using portal/MWO, only directly on the Prepare Work Order screen. On another topic there was mentioning of possible configurations can be done, but no details have been provided. Can anyone assist? In addition, there will be a lot of PMs used on the project, however as standard functionality PM Actions cannot be attached to the project activity at the generation point. Is there a way to connect PMs to Project using Technician Portal or MWO?Thank you

A user has asked if there is a way to connect a new work order (raised through the MWO app) to an Project Activity via the MWO app. We occasionally have out of hours call outs to a site where we have an Project. The engineer will raise a work order on his device and the time will get booked to the work order accordingly. However, this office staff are unable to connect this work order to the relevant Project Activity the next morning (error message received). Our only solution is to create a new work order from the office, connect it to the Project Activity and then transfer the time over. We would like to avoid this extra work if possible.

Hi All, The scenario is like thisMultiple remote warehouse (Service Busses) with specified assortment.A pool of users that can use any of the service busses. When you create and prepare work order, how can you define service buss to issue from when you havn’t a specific user per service buss.The material required in the workorder, and the transport task created is to service buss 1 in all cases as I as a user is atached to all busses, this even I will use meterail from Service Buss 2 or get material transported to service buss 2. What setting is missing or wrong to ensure material flow to specific buss when prepare WO?

Hello,in IFS Cloud 22R2, we have a property called ‘Editable Function’ in the Page Designer. I believe using this property, we can include conditions/parameters based on which the field will be marked either as Editable or Read-Only. But currently, it doesn’t allow us to add any conditions. Is there a specific scenario when we can use this property? Also, do we have any supporting documents or reference fields with this property enabled? Please let me know. Kind RegardsPriyanka Cecilia

Currently if there are task steps in the task, the mWO users can optionally mark as done or not done, but they can simply ignore and move on. Is there a way that we can make it mandatory to visit and update the details? TIA

Hi, I have created a refill putaway zone remote warehouse which I have attached to my user. I have then created my remote warehouse assortment which creates my Purchase Req. When I convert this to a PO I see that it has a destination warehouse which matches my users remote warehouse. Why do I then have the following problems:I see all PO’s in that site, it is not specific to my users remote warehouse Only certain parts appear in my stock when receiving it in. I can see I have multiple parts in stock in IFS but not in MWO.Thanks,George.

We are investigating the use of Service notes within IFS Cloud 23R2 as a means for an engineer to provide notes on MWO Service on their devices and for this then to be sync back to the work task for the back office team to review. The IFS Cloud documentation states the following:Add Service NotesExplanationUse this activity to add a new Service Note. Notes can be created for the following entities in IFS Cloud:Request Work Task Service Object Location Request Contract Request Quotation However we cannot see the option to use this within Work Task screen.Can someone provide guidance as to whether this functionality is available on Work Task and if so, how we enable it?Thanks

The quote was rejected in the system by the administrator by accident. When I try to recreate the quote from the work order, none of the lines are appearing on the quote. This leads to my question; can you create a new quotation from a previously rejected quote?

Task Bundling has been introduced in 23R2, does anyone know if you can still view the individual steps of each work task on MWO when the task belongs to a bundle?

My collegue has recently shown me an error in IEE stating that event action (ie. MWORKORDER_4_8) has an issue. When I got into PLSQL code of that I’ve copied the whole statement into Oracle SQL Developer and found an error on the line objversion_:= to_char(&NEW:ROWVERSION);  Obvious thing was to enclose &NEW:ROWVERSION in single quotes. So I’ve fixed that and a number of other events too.Some time later we’ve migrated TAS server and redeployed mWorkOrder_4_9_0.dll, browsing the same page we’ve got the same error text in IEE again. All these MWORKORDER event actions were regenerated having the same syntax error.
