Hello, i have a question, when i add this parameter to the appearance configuration, it doesn’t put the image that i want, or any other image parameter is not working, can someone help?

The parameter M-200-COLOR is not working either.

With the best regards,

Francisco Lopes

Hi

I guess you have only done a new initialization, but please reactive the app, close it down and login again and then you will be able to see the logo as well as the colours

Regards

Johan

Hello, i already reactivated the app, and closed it down, but it still keeps not appearing any of the images nor the changes for parameter M-200-COLOR.

Documented here: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r1/030_administration/040_native_apps/020_configuration/080_appearance_designer_for_native/#image

It’s important to consider where this image is used:

Adding this property to an Appearance Configuration context means that the image will be used in a Repeating Sections Assistant or the Print Report page command.

And that works indeed after disconnect and re-login:

Have you published the appearance as well. If I recall it correclty we do not have a preview of the appearance in the mobile app compared to what you can do in IFS Cloud.

Yes I already published the appearance.

Shouldn’t the image of parameter M-100-Image be around here?

Hi

It is only available in the report, not on the header bar.

From the documentation:

Adding this property to an Appearance Configuration context means that the image will be used in a Repeating Sections Assistant or the Print Report page command.

Repeating Section Assistant is the Mobile Maintenance for Aviation app, as they had a requirement to see the logo for their jobs.

MWO team has not yet evaluated this functionality that much and we decided to add it in the reports only.

Could you tell me how i can Print report? Sorry for the inconvenience

Hi

I think it is only one report available in MWO and that is the service journal and I am not sure exactly how to access that. I think Heinz knows exactly where it is located in the MWO app.

We did this implementation with images, mainly for the Mobile Maintenance for aviation app, even if it also can be used in the MWO. I know that MWO team has not looked into it in depth and have not yet come with specific requirement how and where the logo should be present and used.

Johan

My screenshot above comes from the “Service Report” command that you can find in the top row of your task page (when not using workflows). When using workflows, the Report In step shows the Service Report.

My screenshot is from 24.1, which generates the report as PDF. Not sure if the HTML-based report in prior versions also includes the image.

I can answer that the image logo is only available from 24R1 release. The previous releases we did not have it, even if in some version of the documentation it might have been included until I made a note of it and wrote that it is not included.

Has anyone got the image logo visible after upgrade from 23R2 to 24R1?

Added image in appearance designer, unpublished and re-published the apperance. Disabled and re-activated the app but does not see the image for service report in windows, android or iOS app.

Should the image logo also work for remote deployment of Cloud?

Got the image logo to work for the Service Report in remote deployment as well!😀

The issue was probably that the customer image I reused from the App bar logo had white text that was not displayed 😌

(When I downloaded it and preview it on my laptop it shows white text on black background)
