Training/presentation materials for Project Management in IFS Cloud

Training Material for Projects for IFS Cloud.I’m trying to find training materials for Project Management for IFS Cloud. There is some in the academy but they’re related to specific areas of Project Management, not the general project management. We have material named Project Management under Apps 10. Status missing from Subscribe options in sub contract valuations

In sub contract valuation window (Contract Management > Sub Contract Valuation > Sub Contract Valuation), under notification bell icon, there are various options to be subscribed.But the '’Status" option is not there to be subscribed.As per the customer, this should be the most important attribute in the list.Related case: CS0114543Environment: IFS Applications 10

Planned Revenue on Project Activity not fully transferred from Customer Order

Dear all,Customer order lines connected to a project activity have not fully transferred to the Planned revenue on the project.The customer order has been invoiced and the Posted & Actual Revenue has transferred okay as per the CO lines.Looking at the CO lines they are all connected to the project activity. We have tried to refresh project connections, however, that has not updated the Planned Revenue.Only some CO lines have transferred to the planned revenue. Looking at the CO lines they are all connected to the project activity.We have tried to refresh project connections, however, that has not updated the Planned Revenue. The “Edit All” function does not work properly in the Sub Contract Revisions and Items Screen

When creating a subcontract, we can assign the sub contract to certain projects.The revisions and items are then linked to the Activities available in the project. There are subcontracts with sometimes 100 items, where “Edit All” functionality is used on a column field to assign the Project, Sub Project, Activity to the items in the Revisions and Items.The issue is, when selecting “Edit All” we can see all the projects in the system. However, it would be better to only see the Projects assigned to the Sub Contract, on the Sub Contract Header.This issue also concerns the columns “Sub Project” and “Activity”. Steps:On the Sub Contract header details, add the Project Go to the Revisions and Items Edit the Items - on column “Project” click on “Edit All” In the dropdown list of the “Edit All” screen, all projects are shown. The suggested expectation is to only see the Project that is assigned in step 1 (Sub Contract header). The same issue is also seen on the column “Sub Project” and “Activ

Updating Profiles - refreshing the accounts

Hi all, I am doing changes to the users profile accounts, but their are not reflecting on individual accounts until I clear their Base Profile, because of their personal changes. Is there a way to update all accounts in one go, avoid Clearing personal accounts individually? Thank you!!!!!

WO not connected to Project error but it is connected to prject

Hello All,I am working for a US based client and IFS CLOUD version is 22R1.I am getting the below error (attached screenshot) when I am trying to close the work Task.NOTE: In this error message the WO number is also passed but it is null in the error message.The Problem is WO is already connected to the Project.I am trying to debug it but I don't have backend Admin IFSAPP access (I have IFSINFO user access, but I cannot see the implementation of database objects), as this is not a Build place environment and also not able to replicate in build place.I have requested IFS also to provide the admin access of that environment so that I can debug the error and correct the data from back end (if not from front end) but IFS declined the request as it is IFS managed cloud environment.I have the trace for the error but not able to find the actual root cause.Please Advise….

Copy paste activities in Sub Project Scope and Schedule

Create an activity in a sub project in Sub Project Scope and Schedule and try to copy it and paste it in a different sub project. Try saving records but error pops up “Activity already exists.The reason for this is having the previous Activity Short Name assigned for the pasted Project Activity. If it is removed, the record can be saved and the system assigned a new activity short name. When the activity count increases, this manual work would be time consuming.This is not a critical bug, but with this issue copy - pasting activities in this page become not usable. Is a fix for this issue already planned?

The PROJECT_REPORTING_LTU is missing FND_RUNTIME in it's structure

‘PROJECT_REPORTING_LTU_IEE’ cannot be used as a stand-alone permission set; as it does not contain permission set structure to allow log on to the application. eg: FND_RUNTIMEIs it the intended behavior LTUs "PROJECT_REPORTING_LTU_IEE" and "PROJECT_REPORTING_LTU_AURENA" is without FND_RUNTIME in it's structure?Customers get the LTU permission set from the following page "https://ifs.sharepoint.com/sites/IFSApplications102/SitePages/IFS-Applications-Licensing-Model.aspx".

Project Transactions - Cost Anomolies

Difference in planned cost, reported cost and actual cost.Looking at one of my projects there differences between values being returned on the project transaction view and the project navigator view.We’re only talking a few pounds in this example however it doesn’t make sense and it would be good to know why these differences are there.The difference in planned cost versus reported cost is pence and could be attributed to rounding differences (which in itself is frustrating) however its the total actual cost from project transactions versus total actual cost from the project activity which is causing the confusionAnyone seen this before or know where the values are coming from ?Thanks in advance

Project deliverables - PRMP and reservation

Hi Community, I have a question regarding project deliverables and the supply option = PMRP. I did a test with a purchase part : By defaut the systems sets a supply option = Purchase and i can manually change the value to PRMP. Once that done, i went throught the all process- Approuve the item- Run GRC- on the Material plan tab, RMB to perform PMRP for the part.The PMRP ran and created a purchase requisition. All those information are not visible on “material supply tab”. I quite stuck to reserve my part (i did all the flow purchase req/PO/register arrival)Do you think it’s a normal behavior ? How can I reserve my part ? Thanks,

Open hyperlink from IFS APP 9

Hello,I would like to define a different path for each project we create in IFS and open the folder that corresponds to that path from IFS APP 9.Can we create a hyperlink?. I have created a custom field in the Project Menu to assign the path, but hyperlink option is only available for web or e-mail addresses.Due to I haven`t seen any option for hyperlinks, I would like to create a Custom Menu, “PL/SQL Block” type, to read the path defined in the custom field and open the corresponding folder.Which is the command in PL/SQL for opening a folder?. Technician calendar sync

Would like to sync our technician’s calendars between IFS Cloud and Exchange/Outlook so that internal meetings on technicians Outlook calendars don’t get scheduled over. Want to be able to see an Outlook meeting in IFS Cloud. The CRM calendar sync doesn’t bring calendar items to the right calendar, and it requires a manual step to start the calendar item sync. Debugging GRC Posting Control Error

When running GRC with Project Connections we are receiving the following error:Value is missing for posting type M1 combined control type C83C5 code part A in company 10. Check the Accounting Rules setup for posting type M1. ORA-20110: MpccomAccounting.ACCNTFORPOSTTYPEThe challenge is identifying which of the 2000 deliverable items on the deliverable structure is causing the error to be thrown.We’ve checked part setup that has caused this error in the past (missing Accounting Group, missing Supplier For Purchase Part, no Primary Supplier, missing Inventory Part Default Location) but everything looks ok so there must be something else having an impact.Is there any way of getting more info from the error to understand which deliverable item it has a problem with? Or is there a resource that clarifies all the fields that could have an impact and throw this error?

How Internal Price - Employee Price works

I can define the internal prices for all costs and times that are reported on a report code on the Internal Price window. The internal prices can be set on different tabs, with different priorities. The priorities are as follows, with Priority 1 as the highest.Priority 1 - Price will be fetched from Internal Price/ Specific Price.Priority 2 - Price will be fetched from Internal Price/Employee Price.Priority 3 - If the Resource ID and Report Code have specified, that price will be fetched in Internal Price/Standard Price.
