Project budget control for manpower

Assuming I’ve understood your requirement correctly, as far as I know unfortunately there is no provision provided in IFS standard functionality to control the ‘man power costs’ related to a Project. i.e., when a company spends over a designated $ amount for recruitment specified in the connected Project Budget (whether it be via a Recruitment Requisition or by any other means) there is no mechanism/configuration that could be set up so that system prevents users from going beyond set limit. 

It must be noted that current functionality around controlling as per a defined Project Budget coupled with a consumption point only applies to project connected purchases (unfortunately this feature is not designed to control other project connections - such a pity if you’d ask me!).

Please see below screen where we would typically define a ‘consumption point’ and it only gives us limited set of options all of which relates to the project connected procurement process.  
 

On the other hand even if we can budget the ‘Man Power’ costs to a designated cost element/s and include it in a Project Budget, based on existing standard functionality (as per my limited knowledge on the HCM module) we don’t have any means to connect a Recruitment Requisition(nor any element under that, e.g., Applicant expected Salary) to a Project Activity.

Thereby even by some miracle we can create a consumption point for this sort of a cost in the future we’d still need a way to connect such cost to a Project Activity via Project connections (and Cost/Revenue Element per code part configuration) so that respective ‘used costs’ start rolling in to the project (which becomes a prerequisites for us to be able to control against the project budget in the first place).
