In Project Deliverable flow, I’m trying to create Shipment Plan for Condition code enabled part.the System prompt an error saying, “It is not allow to create Shipment Plans for parts with condition code enabled.”It seems the flow is intentionally prevented.If so, appreciate a proper approach for delivering condition code enabled part via project del flow.

I know it seems counter-intuitive but does anyone know of a way to restrict project activity to Time Reporting only - ie disallow raising POs, SO etc?   I know there is the allow/disallow on Manual Connections but that only works when trying to connect an object created outside of the project.  It doesn’t stop objects created within the project from being created. I’m wondering if going down the Indirect Jobs route might be a better option?  Any thoughts/suggestions gratefully received.  ThanksLinda

Create Shipment plan for part with Condition Code enabled. The Condition Code setting is very important for structure items that will be processed in the subsequent MRO process.The IFS Shipment as a business object takes this part property into account, so the only missing step is this:IFS Project Deliverables Item --> IFS Shipment Plan --> IFS Shipment Line Steps to Reproduce:1) Created a Product Structure of having a Manufacturing part (SN-MP) & Purchase Part (SN-PP) and make it buildable. Sales Contract requires Customer Delivery Delivery address for Tax defintion - suggest  support  for countries/Tax beyond  India Localization.Customers in ECI using Sales Contracts and Project Invoicing have a need to define the Taxing delivery address by contract. This is being reviewed as a CRIM by a customer in the US. On review with Global presales and looking at the roadmap I noticed this function fundamentally exists for India Tax Localization. I'm on APP10. In the Resource Analysis view,  the bars in the stacked bar chart are divided into 2 parts: the chosen project and everything else combined. So, if you select ≥3 projects, you won't be able to distinguish all projects by colour coding.Is it possible to show the resource allocation of all projects associated with a resource group in APP10? How about Cloud? 

About a year ago we switched to using Project Inventory vs Standard and PMRP per Project PNG. While this fixed some challenges we were having it’s caused some new ones and wondering if there is a middle ground. We don’t want to get rid of the use of project inventory and the kind of soft reservation that it gives you. With PMRP it’s generating Purchase Reqs for each individual activity and not really being able to aggregate the demand together from all sources and effectively use planning method A or G. This causes individual lines on the PO which the vendors are not fond of and due to industry regulations require it to be treaded as separate lots with corresponding testing and paperwork.Ideally I think we want all demand to be funneled through MRP and when the inventory comes in and has been inspected, to have MTRs generated to move it to project inventory. Even better would be to automatically move it to project inventory.We are currently on Apps10 Update 22

Hi,I have enabled Project Budget Control settings as below for the Project and setup the Project Budget Control consumption checkpoint as Create Purchase Requisition Line. When I created a project supply request that exceeding the budget it does not block creation of the Purchase Requisition. But when I tried Create Purchase order line and Release Purchase order line as consumption check point this budget control option is working.Is there any reason for this?

Hi IFS! Is there a way for IFS users to provide feedback within IFS after successfully completing something? My product team is configuring IFS to enable our end users to complete their work in a better process than before. We would like to capture their feedback on completing their work in IFS right after they successfully complete a something, so that we can get their feedback while it’s fresh in their minds, and can configure IFS to better meet their needs. I am envisioning some kind of side panel, small window, or modal that prompts users to give a brief rating or description of their experience completing their work. Please see below examples to illustrate what I mean. Does anything like this exist today in IFS? Is there anything we can leverage that can meet our need?

Hello to all,we are going to update from 23R2 SU17 to 25R1. Now we have a fresh 25R1 installation, and we are testing it on our data. We know resource assignment has been made more flexible, apart from the person resource type, the other resource types are supported in 25R1 and can be assigned to a project activity.To date, our users have utilized the Project Employee Allocations screen to manage these allocations. Now we can see that the Project Employee Allocation screen is discontinued. The same is true with the Resource Shift Pattern Mapping page.Are there any replacements for these two screens in 25R1?Thank you very muchBest regardsAntonin

Hi, I am exploring the possibilties in Business Reporter to get a view on how a project forecast is spread per year and month (preferably by sub project and activity too). Hi folks, I have a customer requirement to bring the labour hours in to the monthly review forecast, as they evaluate the labour requirements in hours.  What is the easiest/best way to achieve this requirement ? The option I was thinking of was to use a combination of resource planning + resource forecasting functionality. Plan resources against each of the project activities and enter the planned hours.  Employees report time using these activities.  Create a resource forecast on a monthly basis that would generate the ETC hours and EAC hours. (this also shows the dollar values corresponding to the ETC hours/EAC hours) Create the monthly review forecast and in that, include the resource forecast created above. This would update EAC and ETC based on the resource hours as well. Just wondering if there is a simpler way to achieve this requirement. Thank you,Ash

Hi.I have a doubt related to Valuations in SubContract (IFSCloud 24R1)I have an item with a Quantity, Item Rate, Value and Value Adjusted (the Calculation Method is Rate Only and the Valuation Method is Quantity) When I going to certificate I introduce the quantity, not the value in euros, and the system multiply this Quantity by the Item Rate. In the following screenshot I show the contract qty, contract item rate and Value field, but this Value field is the Value Adjusted of my subcontract, so the ‘new’ Item Rate should be equals: Value / Contract Qty.So, as you can see, if I enter 1 unit in Valuation Value field

Hi Team We have 2 MCPR transactions on which we are unable to transfer the cost to the customer company. When we create new transactions and transfer the cost on those projects everthing works fine.Only 2 transactions are stuck. We compared with other transactions which are working fine, everything looks fine with transactions in error. Still, it gives an error in the background job as “Notice the background job has ended with an Error “No transactions to create cost accounting for                    ORA-20110: PrelInvoicePosting.NOACCTRANS” There are corrections for these two transactions.I tried to replicate this using the steps in the below community post, and no luck.I raised this with IFS, and they have little help since they cannot replicate in the core environment.According to my gut feeling, this should be able t

Hi, I’m able to restrict user from “Approval for cost accounting” on the ‘Project transactions screen” However, that same user is still able to to the authorization by using the “time card”, clicking the “Authorize” and selecting “Approve Project Time and Reporting”I can’t block the total page, as the user does need to approve attendance. Does anyone know how I can restrict that access?

Hi All,One of our customers is facing an issue with modifying (Cancel) the Project Forecast after the status is set to "Approved" and the budget is activated. Once the budget becomes active, the status button is no longer visible.Is there a possible workaround to allow changes to the Project Forecast in this situation?Thank you!Navoda
