Business Reporter : Creating Pivot Tables

Hi Everyone,

 

We’ve recently upgraded to IFS Application 10 Update 8.  I was asked today to create a Business Report that generated the results in a pivot table format.  In IFS Application 8 with Business Analytics there was a button where I could choose a pivot table but I do not see this option in Business Reporter included in IFS Application 10 Update 8.

 

Has the feature been removed?

If so how do we generate a pivot table output using Business Reporter.

After opening a case with IFS about creating pivot tables using Business Reporter in IFS Application 10.  They state the feature to create a pivot table using Business Reporter has been removed.  So Business Reporter will not be supporting creating pivot tables directly.

Maybe not the slickest solution but try:

In sheet 2, add the design row with headings for required columns. Then in sheet1 insert a pivot with the columns (i.e. A$:Z$ inorder to get all rows) as source and build the pivot table. Execute report and Pivot in sheet1 should render based on fetched rows in sheet2.
