Hi,I have seen announcements on that external data sources can be connected to Lobbies, since this is still new I have not found anyone who would have knowledge on how this is actually done. Is this for PowerBI lobby elements only or can it be used for all lobby elements? How do you set up an external data source for a lobby? Any advice is welcome.BR, Jukka

We are wondering if you can directly from running a quick report in IFS export it into PDF format instead of exporting it to Excel as per usual. The background is that the Swedish Maritime Administration wants to be able to issue quick reports to its auditors and then assure them that the data has not been manipulated. The customer is running Cloud 22R1. If it is not possible to do this, which is the best solution for PDF reports directly in the system, do only the resource-demanding report designer reports apply or is there another alternative?Use case the customer wants to build his own report where he/she himself chooses which data should be in the report and then he/she wants to run it in PDF format directly in the IFS system  

Hi Community,I have one problem. I have a report in BA (IFS9). The report is stored in IFS and is scheduled for automatic startup. Usually the report generates fine, but occasionally returns the error: "CreateExcelePortwithdsrd: EJB Exception: ORA-20105: WebServicesutil.utl_http_fault". Please, do you have any experience with such a problem? Or some idea, what can I check?

SSRS report is working when open from SSRS reporting server but when try to view it within IFS Cloud it’s blank.Followed cloud documentation and done followingConfigured SSRS parameters. IAM Client IFS_ssrsor_integration created as it was documented. Done SSRS data source setup,  it is connected successfully.Does anyone came across similar issue in IFS Cloud?

All in Apps9 is there a way to use more than one view when creating a data element for a lobby? I’ve used the SQL rather than query builder as it’s a custom view I need to use along with another standard view.

Hello, We have created several custom Quick Reports to our IFS Apps 10 UPD 12 instance. I can see them in Order Report on Aurena, however, I do not have any options to configure the report parameters prior to running. Do QRs created for IEE need to be recreated in Aurena, or can they be run and parameters specified?Thank you!

I am trying to create a simple Project Cost Report using the Project Activity Information Online Source as I done before.I keep getting a The Given Key was not present in the Dictionary. What key, which dictionalry but how would I fix it ? Probably user related as I get it in APP10  nd IFS Cloud 21R2  but user not smart enough to figure it out (ie me) 

We have a quick report that outputs different results when it is sent via a scheduled data base task compared to when it is run manually. These sums are done using simple “select sum() from table where X” and are listed in rows using union. As you can see in the table. Only sum 7 and sum 8 are inorrect when using the scheduled quick report. The others are correct. Any ideas why this might be happening? Manual output: sum1 1263584 sum2 8608567 sum3 4872151 sum4 55863 sum5 6525876 sum6 3413890 sum7 4532101 sum8 9021000 sum9 7553101  Scheduled Quick Report:sum1

Hi All, Is it possible to use the drill down function but point it at a dimension instead of the original info source ?  Current report - The report currently uses a custom Info source that has grouped data in the IAL so the drill down wont go further down if I point it to the info source.  I am wondering if its possible to point the drill down function to the Dim showing the same columns just without the grouping ? When I have tried to do this - I set up the custom dimension connections and it seems to wipe out my information source in my report as if there was a failure of the connections.  Any advise would be appreciated  ThanksCameron

Hi, I am trying to create a Business Report in APP 10 using advanced criteria for a cell. It is not working as expected. Appreciate any support in solving this. Advanced Criteria:DIM_ACCOUNTING_PERIOD.ACCOUNTING_YEAR = 2022 AND(DIM_ACCOUNT.CODE IN '60900';'61900' OR ((DIM_CODE_G.CODE LIKE '10%' OR DIM_CODE_G.CODE IN '4000';'4100') ANDDIM_ACCOUNT.ACCOUNT_GROUP = 'G13' ANDDIM_ACCOUNT.CODE NOT  IN '60900';'61900';'60999';'61999'))Report Result is -915,006.71.Expected result (Querying through SQL) is as below. When you analyze the data set in business report it shows without the brackets. 

When we install IFS BR as ClickOnce or MSI, it did not provide the publisher. So we are facing security issues. How we get these information.    

We can see Order Report menu to run Operational Report in MWO is not visible.please let us know how we can run the operational report in MWO Service App

Hi,I created a custom oracle function in app owner schema.I granted EXECUTE to IFSAPP, IFSINFO, IFSPRINT and IFSSYS on the function.The SQL Quick report that uses this function is throwing a ORA-00904 error which I know means it can’t find it.I am calling the function within a SQL statement as <appowner>.<myfunction>.Are we able to use custom functions in a  quick report?And if so, what user needs access to it?  I thought it was IFSPRINT but apparently I am wrong.Thanks!

Hi,Is there a trick to dynamically change scheduled quick report file names, for example to include the date of the run YYYYMMDD_HHMM_MyQuery.xls?Some time ago there was a discussion on dynamic parameters for scheduled quick reports, but it does not cover file naming. 

We have created a sample report in prod environment. When we went to preview the report it shows following error. 

I am facing issue in form level. When open the form below error is coming and designer file is not opening.Please give some solution to overcome this problem. Note:  I have rebuilt the workspace, deleted the file in workspace and took new files in harvest, reset/updated the server files. I tried to open the form with different user’s login with their workspace but same issue coming for them also.

I am trying to use CTE’s in a quick report, but when I try to execute the query in IFS’ Query Tool it gives me the error “Input ‘my_query’ ” did not match regular expression. I tried with a basic CTE, that works in PL/SQL Developer: WITH my_cte AS(SELECT 3+4 as result FROM DUAL)SELECT result from my_cte I am not even trying to use a regular expression.
