Hi All,Is there any validation in IFS Cloud not to allow employee to report time more that scheduled hours. I need that validation when the employees are reporting time in below screen but not the employees confirm the time registration. Regards,MalinG

We are having issued with Microsoft New Outlook - when there is more than one attachment in an email and the user want to save them, the new Outlook automatically Zips the file when they save attachments.  When a user then adds one of these attachments e.g. in PDF format to IFS, it cannot be viewed.     Is anyone else having this type of issue?

I rebooted Application VM from working TEST environment.After reboot, I checked status of unix mws-svr.sh and here I see all components in status RUNNING, but starting IFS EE gives time-out after entering logon info.Database VM has no problems, since I can query using PLSQL.IFS System Monitoring shows normalIFS Middleware Server Admin Console opens, but shows no running serversWhen you ask details, you need to wait some time and get an errorDoes anyone has a solution for this behavior? 

Hello I prepared simple test of user creation which does not work as expected in my opinion. If we have system parameter “Password for new users” set as Username I though each created user during this time should has password as identity. Am I right? But it does not work after changing system parameter to Ask immediate after user creation. Is it a bug?Why am I asking for this? Because I have to migrate houndred of users from previous ERP application using standard API and there is a big problem because the users can’t login to application. And parametr needs to be changed.Simple test plan:Change parametr to Username Create user Change parametr to Ask Try to log on to application using previosuly created user account May I ask You for Your comment? Hello,Do you think the following approach will be effective in replacing EDI messages from IFS8 in IFS Cloud?For outbound EDI messages from IFS8, convert JSON to XML using a transformer (perhaps the standard one IFS_JSON_TO_XML_GENERIC?) and apply customized transformers to map fields from EDI messages to IFS Cloud projection fields.The same logic for inbound, but in a different direction and with the assumption that BizAPIs that were used are no longer available in the Cloud.If yes then mappings between EDI and Cloud projection for different types of messages are required, do you have something like that?Or perhaps you have any other ideas to fulfill the requirements?Best regardsBart

When the ‘Team inheritable’ is enabled, the DSE continues to assign activities to the Team even if the only skilled team member is unavailable (private activity during the specified time).Disabling the ‘Team inheritable’ is also not a viable solution, as it prevents the activity from being allocated, even if the skilled team member is available.This occurs because if the ‘Team inheritable’ is enabled, the Team will inherit any team members’ skills during the membership period, regardless of any unavailability of members.To ensure unavailabilities are considered during allocation, the membership period of the skilled member must be adjusted, each time an unavailability is added for that member.Therefore, we have received a customer request (discussed with R&D team as well) to enable the DSE to consider member unavailabilities during the membership period when the ‘Team inheritable’ is enabled.

I follow the below steps.Create a POCO for the PO and adjust the quantity. PO update the POCO. Send the change request from PO.I assume the above steps would update the CO as per the POCO. I just went through a successful upgrade from IEE to 23r2 deployed On PremI have the provided IFS_INVENTORY, IFS_SALES, IFS_CRM, and IFS_PRODUCTION_PERFORMANCE models deployed for Data Mart and scheduled.I scheduled my Data Mart Refresh Category, Data Load, and Model Processing in a db task chain, these execute successfully, and I see my logs in both data and process runs.For some reason I don't see any data past the day I did the initial data load in SQL Server, the data is fresh in the MVT and BI tables.Can someone assist with this, if so, please let me know if more information is needed from me?

Hello community,How to assign a starting sequence number for accounting journals when we start using IFS in the middle of the year?I am reading documentation and it says:If the company starts using IFS Cloud in the middle of a year, the sequence number for the first transaction can be provided. (Note: This is done by the implementation team during the implementation process.)Generate Period Information I cannot find any specific field or company template detail to enter start number. Is anyone aware how is this information defined?Thanks

Hello IFS community, The error below is happening when I try to migrate Employee data. Using a Execute Job migration. IFS Cloud ORA-20105: AccessAttribute.NO_ACC_TO_EMP_REG: Insufficient access rights. You cannot register Employee Employed Period data for the employee YAYYYYY. Could you let me know what access I might be missing?If possible, could you include a screenshot with your response for clarity?

Hello,Currently we are using IFS Cloud and our customer invoices dont have the Prepay and Add charge that is added to our shipments. We use the invoice report to create invoices, not the collective invoice, which did have the PPA charge appear on the invoice.How can we fix this? We currently have create customer invoice set as a batch job but will switching to the create shipment invoice fix this issue? or does the shipment invoice have different fields/parameters as the customer invoice? We dont want to lose the charges and the original information the customer invoice has

Hi, With plsql_rest_sender_api.call_rest_endpoint_empty_body I can send the response to the callback function. However, I couldn’t do it with “plsql_rest_sender_api.call_rest_endpoint”. The common callback function returns an error in the second chain of the routing rule. We are using Apps 10. We are following the guidance from a previous question in the community “Can a part that has been serialized be un-serialized later?”To start, we cycle counted out all the inventory that was in stock.We confirmed there is no stock in transit. When we toggled off Serial Tracking At Receipt and Issue we got error message “Receipt and Issue must be enabled if the part is serial tracked in inventory” So we started again and toggled off Serial Tracking In Inventory and got the error message “Condition code can be enabled only in combination with Inventory Serial Tracking and/or Lot/Batch Tracking”So we started again and togged off Miscellaneous Part Settings, Allow Condition Code and got the error message “Condition Code usage cannot be disabled if an inventory part exists”.  However, we don’t have any inventory on this part. 

Is there a place in the system where the total weight of a handling unit and it’s contents are displayed?  I put a bunch of material into a drum and the handling unit label sums it up, but I can’t find anywhere in the system where that weight is available.IFS 10 UPD9

Can anyone tell me which permissions are missing in this case?  (I assume it is a permissions issue.)For users with full admin permissions in the PM Plan the WO No is linked and can be navigated to directly.  “Normal” users have now reported, that they do not have the WO No linked.They can navigate to the listed WO No via the Navigation Menu (Active WO or Historical WO) and open the WO this way.But in the PM Plan the WO Number is a simple number with no link. Any idea which permissions I need to grant? We are working with 23R2 installation.
