Hello Community,I have a PO that has multiple lines on it. We have received several this year.Today when trying to receive my Inventory staff received the following error messages:“Field (LOT_BATCH_NO) is mandatory for Inventory Part in Stock and requires a value” followed by “A lot/batch number may not be entered for part”.Any advice on how to correct so the lot number can be entered? Thanks!Angie

When releasing a connected PO on a Project, a committed cost is shown as PO value but no Object Progress (It is 0%). However, Actual Start Date of the activity is fetched automatically when PO is released. Is that possible? Or is there a way to stop setting Actual Start date automatically when PO is released?

I am trying to use gmail as the host for sending POs to supplier contacts via email.  I am getting an error message that the username and password are not accepted.  I am using my personal gmail account as the host to practice/test (to see if I can get it to work), as the customer is using gmail as their corporate email.  I have checked and rechecked the username and password and I am sure it is correct (it is my personal gmail account after all:)) Here is how the mail sender is set up:  If I change the host, user, password, and default mail sender to my company’s Outlook 365 info, I can generate emails with PO attached.  It is just when I use the gmail info that I get an error message and am not able to send emails with PO attached through the Purchase Order screen.  

Does IFS Support ability to integrate with Gmail out of Box

 Cannot add an Inventory Part Location. When selecting New and adding a Part Number, the screen times out and presents an Error Message. Refreshing the cache did not resolve the issue. When trying to add a new location, the part number doesn't auto populate and when we try to type the part number in to force it to go through, it takes it out right away.

Dear community. We are running IFS 23R2, with the dot net Print Agent and are having some issues with the service account that starts the service. We do not want to give this account “Administrator” rights to the server, however cannot see what the minimum access level needs to be. Current the account starts the services, but it stops almost immediately after, there is no logon failure, so we know the user/pass is correct, it must need some level of rights. Any help would be appreciated. David.  

Hi Experts,  We are planning to rent our parts from warehouse to customer place.   so, I have trying to move through logistics manager. When we run revenue recognition, typically revenue and costs are posted to just one profit center based on what is in the pre-posting. For example, for the revenue portion, the related posting control is GP12, currently set up like so:  As I understand, the profit center is being taken from the Pre-posting. In this case, the pre-posting is in the financial project. For example, like the below:  We would like revenue and/or costs of certain projects to be recognized and posted to more than one profit center. Is there any way to do this? Any help would be much appreciated.

I am in the process of creating business report to capture expense sheets lines   Yet my excel output always aggregate all the lines for single expense sheet together. Setting sequence as repeater would not resolve this too.  Above depicts line 1,2 and 3 together. What are the solutions for this ?

When performing operations in IFS cloud as the administrative user using the debug console and log window we are able to see database processes.Trying to debug an error a specific user is getting by logging in as that user, and the database information is being suppressed in this case. How can we enable it so that all users can view debug information? TLDR: Debug information is being suppressed for certain users. Enable debug for all Thanks in advance,-LEdwards

In previous versions of IFS Cloud, I was able to handle defaults using a Process Enrichment task when creating a record.  For example, on creating a Customer I could have a “before” BPA push defaults for Default Language, Country and Category.  These values would show up on the page as soon as the user pressed + (New).In 23r2 this doesn’t work anymore.  Has this capability been intentionally discontinued?

We issue shelf life materials as we use them. We have instances where 1 logical location has multiple lot batches to issue for the same part #. Is there a way to have the technician scan a lot batch barcode, and then only the options for that lot batch show to be issued?  We enter the Manual Issue from the material tab in Shop Floor Workbench  

I have a virtualized instance of IFS Apps 10 running under vmWare workstation on my laptop, fully updated to UPD18 and, as a time saver, wondered if there was a proven and safe way to “move” this copy of IFS_HOME (the middleware server folder structure) from one server to another? If anyone has any experience with this process, please share as I do not relish starting over on the new server. Regards,Bob

Hi, we have a requirement to update existing Customer Orders in IFS with a new External Transport Leadtime via a migration job. When we update this manually in Apps10, the Planned Ship Date is updated on each Customer Order Line, and a dialog box pops up to allow us to replicate the changes to any pegged orders.When I update the leadtime in the migration job, the Planned Ship Date is updated successfully on all Customer Order Lines, but the changes are not replicated to pegged orders. In Posting Proposal there is a RMB > Final Invoice PostingFinance only want the user to be able to able to RMB > Final Invoice Post when the Supplier Invoice has been attached.Any ideas on how this can be achieved, if at all?Thank you.

Hi BR experts,Could you please advise me on the following issue?When the customer orders the BR report, they get an empty report.But when I order the same report I get the report with data.To investigate the problem, I removed filters from the report one by one, until only the company filter remained. The filter looks like this: DIM_COMPANY.CODE IN &CompanyI defined it with a parameter Company with the default value: 8031,8111,8114,8115. The report appears empty, but when I change the filter to:DIM_COMPANY.CODE IN '8031','8111','8114','8115'with hardcoded values, the report shows data. Have you encountered such an issue? Do you know any solution or workaround on how to define a filter with a multi value parameter so that the report displays data?I would be grateful for any suggestions.Best regards,Adam
