Accessing a Custom Enumeration using expression

Hi, When creating custom attributes, for inbuilt enumerations, I can use:enumeration_name_Api.decode(‘db_value’); But when I create a custom enumeration and try to use the same expression, it gives me errors.Any idea on how to access a custom enumeration using a statement?Error:CUSTOM_ENUMERATION_API"."DECODE": invalid identifier Please help

Mobile app -> event -> workflow does not trigger

We have following problem with a workflow which does not trigger from a mobile app.We created an event on the ReceiptInfo table (on change of rowstate) If we do a receipt in Aurena / Wadaco in the browser The event triggers  The workflow triggers.When we use for example the SCANIT app to do a receiptWe see the event triggers  But the workflow does not trigger? We have set the workflow as async so wondering how we can debug it and how the workflows work together with the mobile apps?  Strange thing is that the custom_event nicely triggers, but not the workflow. @Tharu / @Buddhi Gunasekara / @kamnlk

project capitalization and retain some cost - ex maintenance in the P&L.

Hi Team, We use a project to collect costs for Assets Under Construction, then capitalize to an Object when asset is built and in use.  The question is that I want to use Project Costs to track pure profit and loss expenditure on particular types of Maintenance spent when we are fixing machines.  We want to collect it and track via Project Code but we do not want to capitalize, purely for tracking and reporting purposes. Best regards,Ken

Asset structure history

Hi everyone.We have a customer requirement where the asset structure needs to be snapshot at a specific state. The reason is that the “old” structure is needed for billing reasons. Is there such a function in EAM that allows to view the structure in the past? T&RDADUDE

How MWO allowing to report a tool without checking out the tool?

Why MWO allows to report tool even though the tool is not check in and checked out by another user? whereas in IFS cloud it throws an error “Tools/Equipment already in use”

generating invoice preview lines for past periods

Hi all, I’m trying to generate the invoice preview lines for a service contract line for a past period (2021). It is not generating it and leaving a gap in the invoice plan lines. The service line is valid in the period. The Invoice Period I try to generate the invoice plan is for 01/01/2021 to 31/03/2021  And there is a valid periodic price tooBut it won’t generate that missing period, leaving a gap in the invoice plan lines page. See below. Appreciate if anyone can explain why. We are on Cloud 23R2​

Turn a LTU user to full license user

Just wondering if we have a number of LTU users, are these easily turned into full license users (if license limit is not reached yet). So Donald is now an LTU user, but tomorrow will be a full license user due to change in career path.Likewise, is it possible to turn a full license user into an LTU user?

Cannot delete employee under Company

Hello, We have a typo on an employee under Company → Employees and when we try to delete, we get the following error: “The Company Emp is used by 1 rows in another object (Resource Connection)” I’m not sure where that association with resource connection lives. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you,Kyle

Workflow - refresh page after execute workflow (23R1)

Hi , from 23R1 ,IFS supports to call  Workflow from a Custom Command.  While, as I tested ,after the workflow executed (eg, changed some value of the Page)the web page doesn’t get refreshed.User have to manually click the “refresh” button to get new value shown. Is there any way to make web page auto freshed? ※I added a “Force Complete” Custom Command to a execute workflow    after executed , data is changed , but page not refreshed.

Unknown form template class - absence

Hi all, One of my HR users getting below error message. Rest of the team works and her account works in our non production environments. ISO20022 HSBC UK - Error tag PmtInfId (Payment information ID)

Hi,We are having errors when uploading our ISO20022 file to HSBC UK platform. The error is related to the PMTINFID tag. IFS generates the information using 35 characters and HSBC UK ask for 18 characters. Anybody have any suggestions what to do?Thanks,

Hello,We are using IFS Mobile 6.25.8597 (Rev.2) under Windows and are also testing the use under iOS. Here we use IFS Mobile 6.12.7886 (Rev.2). Do these versions correspond, or is there also a version 6.25.8597 under iOS?Best regards

Best pracitce for P2P authorizations

Hello,We have been struggling for a long time with our authorization rules from purchase to pay.We do have authorization rules today to ensure that the responsible for our code dimensions combinations approves a purchase or invoice before it’s processed.Therefore, we have rules on the requisitions where it is possible to set this up. We also have the same combination rules on invoice postings to catch invoices without a connection to a PR or where we have difference between invoice and PR.Some problems•    It’s time-consuming to administer two sets of rules.•    We do not have the same control of purchase orders without PR.Does anyone have a suggestion for us to improve? I think we are able to change the way of setting up rules. The needs the business have today is to let the responsible for the budgeting per code combination approve what purchases we make or what invoices we pay. Please share your examples. How do you ensure the right person authorize in a complex business? :)

IFS 7.5 upgrade (only DB and OS not the application)

We have an IFS 7.5 (IFS on Windows server 8 and Oracle 11g on RHEL 6.1) application, we want to do only OS and DB upgrade. We want to upgrade from Windows server 8 to windows server 19 and oracle 11g to 19C. is the IFS 7.5 will support these latest OS and DB upgrade?

Subcontract currency different than Invoice currency issue

Dear Community Members.I hope you will be able to suggest a solution to the given issue. In one of our projects there are a lot of agreements signed in Euro. We want to register and conduct them as Subcontracts in IFS. However, the invoicing has to be in country currency - RON in Romania. In case of Purchase Orders there is a possibility to match invoice with purchase order delivery without problems even when currencies are different. In Subcontract there is a problem and the system cannot see certificate to match if it is in different currency than invoice. Or I cannot find the proper settings.The current solution is that we convert the contract value from EUR into RON using certain currency rate, enter subcontract in RON and issue certificates that we need to match with invoices. But each invoice is in different period and has a varied currency rate. In result we have the problem with differences between certified value and invoiced value. Any ideas to solve such issue are welcome an

IFS transformers issue

We need to import XML file but we struggle with problems with every IFS prepared transformer.IFS_XML_TO_JSONHere is the example input XML file (focus on the marked): Transformer does not work for collections.First line of collection works properly, but next lines have type changed to Integer.As per IFS docs. we expect that all output datatypes for transformer should be text.Here is the JSON output: Does anyone resolved/worked-around this problem ? IFS_XML_TO_JSON_GENERICHere is the example input XML file: This transformer also does not work for collections. First line of collection works properly, but next lines are wrongly parsed and type changed to Integer.Here is the JSON output: We also tried transformer “MODEL_BASED_XML_TO_JSON” but it does not use subcollections at all (we tested on SalesMessageService.ReceiveCustomerOrder with subcollection “ExtCustOrdLines”) Any hints are appreciated.

FSM Mobile App - Set List Row to Read-Only based on conditions

Hi All,In the mobile fsm app, I have a list with rows with ‘Allow Modify’ set to true, so user can edit the values of that record.I’m now looking for a way in mobile to set a Row on that List to Read-Only based on some conditions. The only (possible) solution so far is to set all the fields within that row (linkend screen), to read-only.However I prefer that they can’t go that linkend screen at all, so ‘disable’ the ‘Allow Modify’ function.Regards,

Inbound e-invoice fails for foreign currency supplier invoices

Hi, We are using IFS app9 and we have a scenario where the inbound e-invoice fails when supplier send e-invoice in a foreign currency.Issue triggers when <VatCurrencyVatRateAmount> tag appears in the XML.Application message is failed with error 'Cannot calculate tax amount in accounting currency because the exchange rate is not found.' Does anyone has had a similar issue ?
