Hi Team, Client requirement is to use Planning Method-B for automatic replenishment of inventory.Please find the query below:Lets say, an inventory part (Purchased Part Type) is stored in a Warehouse having multiple Bins.Now during auto replenishment, how system will identify automatically which is the correct Bin to refill as Warehouse contains multiple Bins?By any chance, can the same be reflected during Register Arrivals process?Do we need to do any specific setup for it?@Thilini Wijesinghe Any inputs on this?Best Regards,Rakesh

Hi All We are investigating performance issues in our production environment and are noticing that lobbies are refreshing for users even when they are not logged in. We can see the queries in the AWR reports as well as the database sessions. Has anyone else encountered this behavior. We are on Apps10 upd18.

Hi,A custom filed is used as a business report parameter. LOV of the custom filed is visible when running the report in Business Reporter. However, once the report is published in IFS Cloud, LOV of the parameter is not appearing.Any idea on this issue? Thank you

Hello All,I am modifying quick reports trying to get the enumeration/reference lists to appear in the parameter list.  I have gotten the list to appear, but I have one custom field that doesn’t show the prompt.  It has a prompt in the custom enumeration and on the custom field, so it isn’t simply missing.  All I get is the semi-colon “ : ”.  See below:Either overriding it or getting the correct prompt to show up would fix this problem.I have another report where the entry parameters are to be excluded from the report, so the normal prompt will not work.  In this case I would like to override the normal prompt for only that report.  So it would be something “Exclude These Group ID’s” where the normal prompt is “Group ID”. Thanks,RonV

When reading emails via IFS Connect Mail Reader each attachment in the mail is suppose to be read as separate application messages. But this only seems work when the attchements are only Text files such as .txt, .csv and .xml.When sending binary files such as .pdf, .jpg, those files do not appear as a separate application message and therefore we cannot get hold of those files in order to attach them to a case.Is this a limitation in Application 10 or am I missing some setting?Below is the mail I sent with a txt and a jpg attachments. Then in Application Messages queue there are 3 records created. One for the detail of the email  which is in html format. One for the email body. and one for the content of the .txt file. But no application message is created for the .jpg file. Thanks and Cheers!

Hi, We have requirement to create Work Order and Work Task using Create Table from flat file and then MIGRATE Source Data.We are able to create the Work Order but unable to get the WO_NO (system generated) in order to create the Work Task. There is no getter function to get the WO_NO in ACTIVE_SEPARATE_APIAny help would really appreciated.Thanks,Nishith

Problem: It is not possible to create clickable hyperlinks in IFS Cloud environments (same issue with APP10 Aurena). The workaround is to create an ExternalNavigatorLink/ NavigatorLink type custom command button.Request/ Idea: Include the Clickable Hyperlinks feature in IFS CloudCase ID: CS0072387

Hi,We are using IFSAPP 10 UPD 20 and I have a question on PM grouping in relation to attachments.Can IFS display documents attached to a PM Group(LU: PmRoundDefinition) on a generated Grouped WO ? Object connection transformation for example? My scenario is I have two(or more) PMs with  the same PM Group ID XXX. Then I generate work order for these PMs, and I get a WO with two(Or more) tasks.  I want to display common documents on the WO header as attachments.  How can this be achieved?Best Regards,Thilanka

Hi, I have created a customer order from a work order via the customer order handling option in the menu option. This then creates my connection between WO and CO in which I can get to the CO. However when on the CO I am unable to find my connection to the work order in the related pages. I have seen this working in another environment. What am I missing?  

Dear All, I have an issue with Supplier inovice. I have provided the details of PO and invoice. Appreciate your help  in resolving the issue. A PO line has a quantity of 25 purchase parts. We have received 25 and retrured 24 to supplier due to some reason. The current quantity we have now to match with an invoice is 1. When I match invoice with PO, the posting line is created, but the Manually modified flag is set to yes. Why the application has set the status to yes though there is no changes we have made? Eventually it leads to invoice autjhorization.

Hi everyone,I need some clarification regarding the purchase part process for mobile users. If we create a purchase part on the mobile users' site and add a supplier for that purchase part (PP), will it automatically sync to the purchase_part table in DB viewer?Or are there any prerequisites needed to ensure these purchase parts appear in the MWO users' purchase_part table in DB viewer?NOTE: the created inventory part can be visible in Inventory_part table.I have run the refresh all inventory part database scheduled task as well. Still the PP cannot be seen.User is not connected to any warehouse. (Even he is not connected, some old purchase parts are visible in purchase_part table, newly created ones are not synced) Hope this is an issue with the data set up.Thanks!

Hi everyoneMy company start using IFSAPP10, and we are still new to it. May I know do IFS10 able to handle and place orders to multiple suppliers for the one product?Is it possible to set orders’ ratio to multiple suppliers for the one product?For example, I have a product PN#123, there are 2 suppliers (Supplier A & Supplier B) supplying this product to us, we want to set 60% of the procurement orders of PN#123 release to Supplier A, 40% release to Supplier B. If IFSAPP10 can perform similar function, how should I do? Thank you!

When we partially invoice the sub-contract valuations in MSI window, it is allowed us to invoice more than the certified amount of the sub-con valuation. And even though we exceed the certified amount and invoiced, the invoicing status is shown as “Partially Invoiced”. As per the IFS, this is their standard solution, but i strongly disagree with them for this statement. Seems like they have not captured this particular scenario in the development.Any one have any idea about this?

Hello Due to various complexities, we can't currently use CRO. So, when a Customer needs to return their kit for (e.g.) repair, we use non-inventory lines, but we then have nothing to ship, when the Customer wants their kit back. One of our consultants suggested using Non-Inventory Sales Part with category “Goods” for this purpose, but I can’t make them deliverable either. Does anyone have experience of this? 

Hi,One of my clients has a structure where senior employees training the apprentices get an additional position assignment: Practice Instructor. This assignment is not primary but required, as the practice instructor is responsible for approving the time reporting of the apprentice. So far, so good.Now, when the supervisor wants to approve the time reporting of the practice instructor he will receive multiple entries in the Quick Time Authorizaion assistant. Somehow the system does create the time registration for all the assignments.Is there a way where time registration and authorization is only required (and therefore visible) for the primary position? Any help is highly appreciated 😁 KR,Anny   

Hi, In some IFS screens (Ex : Shop order Material Tab), it’s impossible to apply a filter by [Part description]. Only [Part code] is available. But sometimes (ex : Shop Orders vue), we can apply a filter by [Part description]. So users have to swith between différent screens in IFS. Thanks
