In the external file template for voucher file, it is not possible to import Currency Rate. The field is not available. Currency Rate type is available, but not the rate.If we import a voucher with foreign and local amounts, the exchange rate will be retrieve from the system. However, it will not match the transactions. In the example below, both the currency and local amount have been imported.100 EUR and 1100 SEK is imported on each line - Exchange rate 11,5135 was retrieved by the system - it should have been 11,0000 when you look at the transactions.Is something missing which need to be added so the exchange rate can be imported? Can we get IFS to automatically calculate the correct exchange rate, in case both amounts are supplied?Using cloud 23.1.6

Hi,we use external supplier invoice function (STDSIN1) to import somes supplier invoices. By default, these invoices are import like “Preliminary”. is it possible to import like “Posted Auth” ?Why I ask this, it is because we have several hundred invoice to import and to change to “Posted Auth”.Best Regards, Christophe

I created a mapping to mass import serial objects with an Excel file, I managed to get all the desired fields working except for a "Belongs to Object ID" and I don't understand why this field doesn't start working. update when I insert a new serial object. I modified the "Flags" several times but it didn't change anything. *I specify that this field contains a list of objects already existing in the database Thank’s 

Hi Everyone, I have configured the SCIM Provisioning for IFS Cloud with AzureAD. When the Users are provisioned, the ‘Identity’ attribute is created using a combination of name.givenName and name.familyName (as mentioned in the Technical Documentation). Is there a way to override this default behaviour and set a custom value?  Is there a SCIM attribute for this we could use to map a custom value to? Appreciate any information on this. Best Regards,Devin Amarasekara  

Hi,  When we try to set a task due date for a case, we always get this message: “task due date exceeds expected response date”.We can’t work out how to prevent this. It doesn’t stop us setting the date.Any thoughts?

Hi together,how can I account for the 5 step model required under IFRS 15 Revenue recognition in IFS 10?A possible clients asked about it whether IFS 10 has equivalent possibilities to acccount for IFRS 15 like external Enterprise Revenue Management softwares, e.g. Softrax or Workday.Does anybody know how the flow works in IFS 10 (maybe via a combination of Contract Management, Project Management and Financials?) or whether the client will better need an external software after his upgrade to IFS? Thank you!Mathias

Hi,  User created PO for QTY 28,764.08 EA and unit price is $1.00. User created two receipts one for QTY 3,500 ea and 25,264.08 ea. For 3,500 ea recevied an invoice and match without any additional steps. Recevied balance QTY 25,264.08 ea and recevied second supplier invoice for only 5000 ea and matched. System is asking for additonal authorization.  

Hi All,I have created a new custom component(module) in the Customer Solution Repository.My plan is to commit all ACPs and also new MODs not related to Core components keep in this new custom component(module) and then deliver to Use Place environments via deliveries.I have not seen any issues with this approach in previous Cloud versions as well (Say 22R1).Does IFS have any formal recoomandations/any known issues in using a custom component(module) in 24R1 or we can continue on the same process we had earlier as well.

Hi,Deliveries created in BuildPlace cannot be deleted or disapproved. Till now was possible to just do not approve delivery and delete DEL environment. Delivery was still shown, but it couldn’t be approvable.Since Portal version 23.2.0, delivery can be approved anytime.But I do not want it, there was something missing in that delivery, we created newone with same starting point with additional commits. And we want remove this delivery.is there any way how to do it?

Hi All,When executing an operational report via a Command added in the Page Designer, the report is output directly without displaying a parameter input dialog, as shown in the screen below.Is it possible to display a parameter input dialog, similar to APPS9, when running the operational report? Currently, the data from the selected record is passed to the parameters when the Command is executed, but there is no option to manually input the desired parameters. Hello,We are doing an Upgrade for a Customer who is upgrading from Apps10 to IFS Cloud 24R1 (have plans to get 24R2 or 25R1 in future). This is a remote customer who uses a lot of documents.In their current Apps10 system, they have these documents in FTP Repository & database.With the news of FTP getting obsoleted in IFS Cloud 24R1, we decided to implement File Storage for this customer. We have below two questions regarding this situation,We assumed FTP will be fully obsoleted by 24R1 but I can see FTP as an option in this customer’s new 24R1 system. Was this plan to obsolete got changed or postponed to later versions?If FTP is indeed obsoleted and this customer needs to move their documents in FTP to FSS, what would be better/efficient way IFS can suggest? They already went through the FSMig tool’s documentation and have some concerns on the efficiency and support for that tool for FTP. Do we have another tested meth

 Hi, I have an issue that I hope somebody could help me with..  Background:I used the cut and paste feature in Graphical Organization Structure to move two organizational units below another org unit. I did this in order to be able to change the Responsible Person setting to reflect the current organization. Normally the setting is set to ‘Inherit’, but in this case I needed the setting to be set to ‘Specific Position’. I verified every step in our Test environment and everything worked as expected. Issue:When I proceeded to make the same changes in our production environment I get duplicates of the organization units, they are now located in two different places. Hi! I hope someone can help me with a problem I’m having in IFS. I have created an 'Application Server Task' to send an Excel file via email. The Excel file needs to be generated based on a quick report. Unfortunately, I can't get IFS to send a test email to my work email. The setup is as follows: See attached ‘Application server task’ see attached ‘Task – Run Application Server Task’ - Task – Run Application Server Task See attached ‘Task Schedule:’ Background job executed (see attached ‘background job’) Application message is created (See ‘application message’) The status in ‘Application Server Task’ and ‘Application Message’ is ‘Progressing’. I’m not sure if that’s the reason why I’m not receiving an email.. It has been in that status for a while so its most likely something in my settings not processing the application messages. We are currently on IFS Cloud 23R1.4 and would like to know if there are any recommendations for utilizing pallet ids within the system.  Currently we pick to the FT location and load on pallets but don’t have a way in IFS of designating a pallet ID to show what pallet the product was loaded to.  

Hi!We have some new users in a new site where we have a problem that default lobby is always picking wrong site and company for the user. We save the right ones, do Save profile, exit right way and again next time same wrong settings are back. I checked that personal profile picks up the same wrong ones again. Also changing them there do not help. Other users sharing the same base profile do not have this same problem.  They have the right company saved on their personal profile. Lobby element have in this element #USER_DEFAULT_SITE# #DEFAULT_COMPANY#User have only one company and site defined.

In the attachment panel, is it possible to configure commants through Page Designer?In my current research, it failed to hide the buttons in attachment,.

Customer created a custom filed with data type Enumeration with format multi.  Page designer filed properties also set to Searchable True. But the field  is not available in the Search.Many thanks for your inputs on this issue.Best regards,Uvini 

Dear Hive Mind… I’m curious what the Community approach would be to setting up a saved query to run in Customer Orders which returns orders against customers who are Credit Blocked.  Credit Block being a status on the Customer record and not in the Customer Orders view.   In Apps9 I’d be looking to use something like this in the Advanced query/SQL tab.. ifsapp.customer_credit_info_api.Get_Credit_Block ('COMPANY','CUSTOMER_NO') = 'TRUE' Is there an official approach, or one the Community favour/have used? Thanks all!Linda

IFS BeNeLux had created this Kardex (https://www.kardex.com/en/) connector in the past from IFS to Kardex.  It was an older IFS version 7 or 7.5.  Is this still available in APP10?
