No standard functionality I could think of to satisfy this requirement.

​@sarahk : You may use Register Absences 

Create ‘Employee Selection Template’ and Include employees whom you want to Include.

Hi,

There is also Time group reporting that you can use for this purpose, if you have absence in time card (with our without time & attendance integration to absence)

It was very helpful - another query is there any functionality to delete the absences in bulk for multiple employess

Human Capital Management> Manager Services > Time and Attendance > Absences > Absence Requests

Note that an sbence requerst and an absence is different. You can never delete an absence request that is approved but you can delete the absence that has been created from an absence request.

If the absence request has not reached further that Confirmed state you can delete it from the overview “Absence requests”  under Manager services.

I am not sure if you really mean absence request in this case?

If you mean already created absence there is no way to remove it in an overview / bulk - but if you have T&A connection you can remove the intervals (if you have clockings) / results and that will automatically remove the absences.
