Dear All,

I am conducting research to analyze the primary source applications from which migrations to IFS most commonly occur. Have you observed migrations from JDE, PeopleSoft, Infor, SAP, AS400, or any other systems?

Hi Warna,

SAP, Infor, AS400, MS Dynamics and various non-erp systems (like separate accounting system which should now be integrated into a core system) as well as some custom made applications including their own databases. I think AS400 is quite a common legacy, at least in Germany.

In my experience, however, it is not possible or not really expedient to anticipate a standardized process, as the databases are always heavily dependent on the actual use of the applications.
