We have come to discover that we have no meaningful way to manage the roll-out of the mobile app IFS MWO Maintenance. Since the iOS version comes from the Apple Store and the Windows version comes from the Microsoft App store, they just appear randomly on devices without any chance to vet the apps and keep all devices on the same version. Nor is there any mechanism in either store or from IFS directly to get any advance notification of upcoming version releases. There also appears to be no way of reviewing version releases with the associated release dates (not as important but still could be helpful if something breaks). I guess the assumption from all parties in this process is that newer is always better, but what if it is not? By the time we discover a bug, many of our devices will have the new release with no way to back-level the version. Does anyone else out there see this a potentially problematic? 

Attendance note are available in IFS APP10 as follows and they can be visible in time card as well.  How does this work in IFS Cloud? Is it still available?

Good morning. I have heard (but never experienced myself) that some french IFS users are not able to generate the FEC file required by french tax administration due to size issues, as if a size limit would be exceeded.(FEC = “Fichier des Ecritures Comptables” = full list of accounting vouchers for one year) Could someone tell me the truth about this issue in recent IFS Releases, 24R1 or newer ?(Is there a limit in size or number of rows for the FEC ? Or do the users face technical issues like a timeout when generating the FEC ? Are there possible IFS settings to optimize FEC generation ? other workaround possibilities ?)  Best regards.

 Receiving a fault message “It is not allowed to modify a Sales Line after creating service Invoice.”Is this standard functionality.  I could have swarn we were able to modify a sales line after creating service invoice.Message occurs when we select ‘New Credit Lines’. 

A customer in USA is trying to use ACH payment with Citi Bank. ISO20022 method is used in IFS Cloud 24R2.this is supported as per below post  When testing payment files bank has informed that both the 'Local Instrument-code' and 'Local Instrument- Proprietary' must be present in the xml file. Hi all,Users are required to send E-Invoices including invoices images based on their custom layouts but when processing an e-invoice it always picks the default/standard print layout and generates the xml.There are layouts made based on different country requirements and need to set it up against each company print and currently when trying to send e-invoice there is no option to select it. Is there a way to achieve this or any alternative solutions?Appreciate your answers and suggestions.Thank you.

Need to offset one supplier invoice against a credit note. there was a value difference, where the supplier invoice value was higher by 40 than the credit invoice. Therefore, I raised another credit invoice to tally amounts. but still the system generated “ORA-20110: InstallmentUtility.PAYINSTAL30: Amount paid (33605.00) for installment 1 of Invoice 406 is bigger than open installment amount (33605.00)” error message.To test a different way, I lowered the invoice amount by doing a mix payment to tally amounts with the credit invoice, but the system generates the same error message.Any suggestions to sort out this issue?

One of our customers upgraded to 24R2 recently. The release upgrade started on 1/22/2025 and build place was updated on  3/7/2025.Now, in their Build place (DEV) environment, the application version and framework version are different.However, in the relevant TEST (useplace) environment both application and framework versions are the same. Could you please clarify,How something like this could have happened What is the impact this will have on future deliveries/fixes. What can be done to get the useplace and prod environments to the same framework version as dev.

Is there any news on the Deprecation plan for Quick report and Custom Events in higher versions in roadmap

When a Shop Order is Infinite Scheduled (unscheduled by MSO) the Operation Start and Stop Times are consecutive. Each operation step is to begin when the one prior completes.When I run MSO, the last operation step is not scheduled to begin right after the one prior. The first 2 operation steps are “Set Up” and “Test Piece” and have machine set up times. The last operation step (COA) is the actual production run and uses machine run factor.Each operation uses the same work center, resource and labor class. Each shop order is backward scheduled. The only interesting thing I have found is that the first 2 operations, when scheduled by MSO, are scheduled to run at the Start Date and leaves the 3rd operation step for a day before or day of the shop order finish date. What am I missing here?

Hi Experts,After executing Transfer Inventory Transaction , there are multiple records inSupply Chain and Manufacturing Posting Analysis that remain in status"1 (Created)" and are not transferred. Common Characteristics of the Records:The affected records share the following attributes:Accounting ID: Negative value Posting Type: M1 (Inventory) Posting Event: ARRIVAL (Purchase Order Receipt) Posting and Transaction Source: DUMMYBased on our internal investigation, we were informed that these records may berelated to posting simulation.  Q1.Could someone clarify what it means functionally when Posting IDs are negativeand used for postiong simulation in IFS? Q2.Under what conditions are such records created? Q3.Are these records expected to remain in status "Created (1)",or should they eventually be processed/cleaned up?Regards,

Hello Community,I am looking for assistance with the installation of the IFS Sustainability Planner application.According to the installation and user guide, the solution should be available through Microsoft Teams and Power Apps. However, I cannot find the IFS Sustainability Planner/Sustainability Hub application in the Teams app catalog, and the installation steps described in the documentation do not seem to match what is available in our environment.Could someone clarify the following:How can the IFS Sustainability Planner Hub be installed? Is the Hub available as a Teams application, a Power Apps solution, or through another deployment method? Are there any prerequisites, licenses, or permissions required before the application becomes visible? Hello Team, I am trying to create quick report in 25R1 version. We have report which needs to be generate data with specific column values along with some null columns. When I am trying to prepare following kind of query then 25R1 is not allowing me to save the query.  I cant use Alise here as report needs to have specific structure.  May I know what would resolution here? Note- following query is given for example actually query needs to have many null column along with some actual data columns.  

I am trying to understand the Maintenance Change Request in 25R2. Would appreciate some help in understanding the way of working. How to use the second step in the assistant? Looks to be reporting fields, are these supposed to be used on the current task or why should I add data in for example “action taken” when I create a new MCR? As a technician I would like to report that the work report and interval for the job is incorrect, how would I go about to do that? Without adding any of the toggles in the first page I am not able to create the MCR. I would only like to report duration and work descripton changes, not anything related to material, resources or object. Is this a bug? Why is the object updates limited to test points and parameters?
