IFS Solutions

My company uses RMA’s and sometimes,  we receive this product back in to inventory. This is typically a quality step because the decision is made at quality whether or not the goods are damaged and need to be scrapped or if they can be received back in to our inventory. In Aurena Apps 10, we could highlight the line and receive the product on the RMA. There is also a screen called “Receive Authorized Returns” that you can perform this functionality. I have a ticket open at the moment CS0304627 and I’ve been told that going forward in cloud, the receipt will need to be done on Register Arrivals but again, there is still a screen called “Receive Authorized Returns” that only allows scrapping of goods and not receiving…. Please make it make sense. Aurena Apps 10 “Receive Authorized Returns” allows Receiving as the name suggests. Return Material Authorization Line in Apps 10 UPD 18 allows ReceivingCloud 24R1, no option to receive product on the “Receive” Authorized Returns screen No Option

We are working on a process where ALL billing is done from the project.  The process involves creating a Custom Order (CO) from the Business Opportunity (Bus Opp) and then setting those lines to Not Invoiceable.  On the projects side, an invoice plan would be made for an amount that includes the CO Line.  In order that an invoice is not created from the CO, the CO line(s) is set to Not Invoiceable.On the project, the Planned Revenue for these order lines is being included.  It is my thought that if the line is Not Invoiceable that the amount on this line should not be included as a planned revenue.Does anyone have any thoughts on this?Patrick

When we retreive data from a table in IFS Cloud by referencing the field (for example SHIPMENT_LINE_OVW_CFV.SOURCE_REF1) we get an error in datasource.For example , we use the packing problems lobby element in prod9 without any problem. We need to know how to format currency or numeric field values in Aurena client.For example,“Price/Curr” and “Net Amt/Curr” field values in Purchase Order Lines. Currently we have below settings in Aurena client We want to format as per below highlighted format.  We tried in IEE as below and it works as expected. Is there any option in Aurena, we can achieve same results? Please let us knowThank you

Dear Community, We would like to build some integration, and I started to investigate the possibilities. I saw we can call REST APIs from Event actions, so I tried it.My test is very simple, I would like to create a PO header in test IFS if someone create a PO in an other IFS test instance. I have this event action: Body:  But I got this error in Application messages:  I googled it and also looked around in the community, but I only found this articleCall REST API from event action with Bearer Authentication | IFS Community When I tried the same call from Postman, it worked without any issues.Do you have any idea what I might be missing? We are on IFS Apps 10 UPD21. Thank you very much in advance for all ideas and thoughts!Kind regards, Balazs

To Preface: We use two different task status’: one to represent that the task is completed and the request is completed. Another to represent that there is still work to be done on the request, so the task gets “rescheduled,” and a new “follow up” task gets created. The Request remains Open until the last task is completed. The work on the rescheduled task is essentially completed. Currently we have a time clock BR that does a perform time clock event generation when the task status changes. Also, side note: there is a value BR (before update) that will change the Completed task status to Reschedule if it needs to be rescheduled.It appears that the time clock rule can only evaluate one Stop Action. Question 1: Does the time clock rule only evaluate and use the first Stop Action even if the value that we define doesn’t match the task status?Please see pics 1 & 2 below to see the result of a Rescheduled Task. Hi IFS R&D / @johan.f.nilsson@ifs.com For one of our clients, I tried to set up supplier performance evaluation / rating. My conclusion is that this solution is insufficiently developed, based on the following points:Scoring Criteria of the Supplier Evaluation KPI can no longer be modified once they have been used in a Supplier Performance Evaluation Setup. Error message indicates that up to the Supplier Performance Evaluation Setup level you should delete everything, only you can only give the Suppler Performance Evaluation Setup status Obsolete and not delete it. Workflows need to be built for automation of kpi value. After technical inspection of the standard delivered workflow, the conclusion is that it does not work. Also the question that a workflow / configuration is needed for every new wish for the automatic filling of the kpi value? Display of supplier performance evaluation analysis is not optimal, more preferable would be a lobby page.

Specifically, I’ve noticed that there is minimal or no use of ARIA labels in the HTML forms and input fields, making it difficult for screen readers to interpret and describe the elements accurately to the user.My questions for the community:Does the HR module in IFS Cloud natively support ARIA labels and other accessibility attributes required for screen readers and keyboard navigation? Hi, We are using rental functionality of IFS Cloud. When we generate the rental transections, UOM comes as Hours. What setup is required to see that the UOM on Cost and Sales lines should be Day not Hours. For Example:  We commissioned (Start Rental) a Tool on 23-09-2024 13:00 PM and decommissioned (End Rental) on 23-09-2024 18:00 PMNow we generate the rental transection, the UOM on Cost & Sales line for different scenarios will be as follow: (Period Rounding - None) : UOM - 5(Period Rounding - Daily Rounding) : UOM - 24 ( 24 Hr = 1Day) For 2nd Scenario, I need the UOM as 1 not 24. Am I missing on some setup or how we can achieve.

We plan to use consignment stock and link customer order to a project. Got error message that consignment stocks are not allowed for project connected customer orders. Why is this?Any basic data setup that will allow? Is there a workaround?We are using UPD10.17

The closest functionality for this request is in the Lot Batch Master, tab Where Used. You can input here the part having specific LOT_BATCH_NO and obtain all parts which could be influenced by this part. In non-project environments I’m used to seeing the inventory expiration events show in IPAP, but I’m not seeing it in our project based environment. Is this normal? They show up in the Open Supply and Demand orders window and the MRP Information but not IPAP. We are on Apps 10 Update 22    

We have noticed that since updating PSO to 6.13.0.9, we are no longer seeing Canadian time zones anywhere in PSO.Have they been removed?Could there have been a step missed in the update process that left these out?A couple of Canadian provinces have unique time zones that would not be replicated in the US (Saskatchewan & Newfoundland for example)
