Hi.Does anyone have an explanation of what effect the ‘Refresh Rate’ button/setting has on the Smart Manufacturing Planning Board? I’m using 24R2.Thank you.Adrian.

I have a serialized assembly that has lot controlled components.  The as built structure for the assembly of the serialized assembly shows the lot batch numbers of the of the components I used to assemble the serialized parts.I now open a repair shop order and flag it as multi level.  I then issue the serialized assembly and the multilevel repair structure shows the lot batches of the components from the item’s original construction.  All is well so far. One of the components needs to be replaced and the original component is scrapped.  SO I do a remove and go ro do an add.  Questions:Why does the system automatically create a salvage part that I must now receive even though that component is just going to b=the scrap heap?  I can understand if it were a salvage or a replacement and I intend to use that partially used component elsewhere but why a salvage part if I am NOT salvaging it?  How do I just remove it an add a new one? Hi,We are upgrading to IFS Cloud 23R2 and have an issue with Business Reporter reports that were written in IFS Apps 10.We have tested in the BR client versions 23.2.0, 23.2.1 and 23.2.2 – the issue is present in all of them.Our report developers have used multiple sheets and use many formulas referring to data on other sheets like this example:In the Design view you can see the reference to a sheet within the workbook. When the report is run you can see the sheet names have been stripped out so excel is now referring to cells on the current sheet:  We need this resolving ASAP as our go live approaches.We have raised a ticket but nothing has been done yet. ThanksPaul

Upon saving a Customer Order Header, I’ve noticed that the ‘Add New’ or ‘+’ no longer automatically appears on the Lines tab.Users must select the page refresh which then loads the icon.Is this a designed functionality change from 24R1 to 24R2 or a bug?  If the former, what is the reasoning behind the change?I can see this same behavior from Core to SU5. 

 When I manually report absence clockings, the clockings show up as 2 records in Employee Interval.  I’m expecting 1 record in Employee intervals. Below I would expect 1 line for the ‘In Absence’ and ‘Out Absence’.  I’m not getting that result, i’m getting 2 normal clockings when they should be an absence and am left with an open Absence.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,Ed 

Hi everyone,I'm currently configuring a Maintenance Survey (eForm) in IFS Cloud, to be used through the IFS MWO Service mobile app.I would like to know if there's any native way to capture the technician's GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) at the moment they: Fill out a specific field, or Take a photo through the eForm. I've already enabled GPS permissions for the application and for the user in the Mobile Apps Administration panel.Is there any method or best practice to store the location automatically in the form responses (via metadata, script, or system field)?Any official documentation or workaround would be really helpful.Thanks in advance!

In my tenure, I have worked with several automotive suppliers and their customers will often send a transaction for multiple lines of either multiple parts or the same part.  These lines  may have different customer PO numbers.  However, iur customer order lines don’t seem to allow that by design thus FORCING our customers to generate separate customer orders for the one incoming transactions. YEs, we can combine orders for the same customer, ship-to, etc. on a shipment but I would think we still need to allow our customers to adjust/enter the customer PO number and customer PO lone number on OUR customer order lines..Thoughts?

When accessing a list view on an IFS Cloud web page, it initially displays only 24 records. However, upon inspecting the related GET request, it indicates that 25 records are being fetched (with parameters like limit=25 and skip=0).Why is there a mismatch between the number of records fetched by the GET request and the number actually displayed in the list view? Is there a specific reason or setting in the UI framework that causes only 24 records to be shown initially?Any insights or explanations would be appreciated!

Hello community, hope you can help me.I was editing a document footer and i removed a fieldafter i removed that field i realized that for some reason the second column disappeared, i tried to drag the textbox content to the trash icon and dragged the field back but still not showing.does anyone know what could have happened? the first picture is what i see in ifs and the second one the footer in the document and i cant see that second column  

Hi All, The receipt is already cancelled. The object is already scrapped. The material should be expensed, but the user have used the incorrect combinations. We will cancel this PO and re-start the purchase requisition, but our issue now is how to remove the PO receipt and Cancel PO receipt which are in Status 99 in Distribution and Manufacturing Posting Analysis.  

Hello Community,I am trying to connect to the Build Place or Lifecycle environment using IFS Report Designer.I have already created the IAM account and obtained the necessary certificate. You can see following two screenshots for details.The Certifcate in the right directoryIf I try to connect using the following:I receive the following error messageWhen I try to access the URL (up to the landing-page), I receive the following prompt window. I am attempting to connect using the ifsapp username and password. Any idea what I am missing or I am doing wrong? I remember in IFS10 there was a system parameter set up for report designer. Am I missing something in the system parameter for IFS Cloud.Any advice to help me to connect to the cloud lifecycle place?Thanks,

We are currently upgrading from Apps10 to Cloud and we use Estimate in Apps10.Looking at Estimate in Cloud - we can’t find the Estimate tree level view.  We use this view to move items in and out of structures in the same estimate.Where is the overall tree view?  Does it still exist in Cloud?Estimate Tree View in Apps10Same Estimate in Cloud - only list and card view 

I write to ask some questions about the IFS file previewer for attachments. The ability to use the file preview is denoted by the presence of an icon shared like an Eye.I believe, if a user has permission to view the attachment in question, then they would see the 'eye' if the attachment in question is a supported file type.Please could I ask the following, and please could I ask if the answers to the following could potentially be summarised and published as an IFS KB article since I think this information would be useful to any IFS customer.1) Can a table be provided of which file types can be viewed via the IFS file previewer?If support for previewing of a particular file type was introduced in a particular version of IFS, could a note be included stating from which version of IFS this support was introduced?If there are some notable file types which you know are NOT supported by the IFS file previewer it could be good to call those out. (I would be keen to establish that .msg and .

We have IFS Cloud 24R1and we experience that some users loose the personal bookmarks. It also seems to happen several times for a few persons, while others are untouched. Does anyone else experience this and know why this happen and what is causing this?

Hi All, I get the below errors when creating the New Accounting Periods for a company. And the expected Accounting Periods are not creating. Is there a page which shows the Error Log for this type of error 

We are unable to install the middleware due to the following error  Error: looks like "https://ifscloud.jfrog.io/artifactory/helm" is not a valid chart repository or cannot be reached: failed to fetch https://ifscloud.jfrog.io/artifactory/helm/index.yaml : 403Execution failed: Create Priority Class in default namespace unsuccessful.  It appears that the username or credentials for the Runtime Repository might be incorrect. Could you please provide the steps to regenerate or unlock the Runtime Repository username and password from lifecycle portal?

Hi! We have experienced problems with the Share pool getting full. The common dominatiore seems to be that this has happened short time after installation. (3 times). This results in tens of thousans of queries stakking up in share pool memory until full ending up with users cant log on.The two last time we experienced this was in the middle of the night with very limited users (if any) in the system. We are wondering if the installation it self or the configuration of screens after installation could cause this issue. any reason fro not seeing the service notes added from mobile in the app?App to MWO services notes can be visible with same note type where the sync to mobile is enable Once after external service notes, how the customer see those notes?
