Hello, When I try to enter a broken number in the Qty per assembly field, it is not accepting rounded numbers.

In the example, I try to enter a value of 2.8 kg, when I press the tab key it automatically changes to 28 kg, ignoring the decimal place.

Has anyone seen this before?

Hi @luides,

Do you have the same behaviour if you use a "," (comma) instead of a "." (dot)? If the "," (comma) works, it has to do with the set Windows system language or country.

Hi @luides,

Could you kindly let us know which IFS Cloud version are you using.

Furthermore, according to the attached document, it seems you are using comma to separate the decimal values. Have you tried to use the dot instead of the comma?

Best Regards,

Uvina Jayamaha.

Tried this out in both IFS Cloud 24R2 and 25R1. When using the “,” issue got recreated but when using the “.” I was able to save decimal values without the issue.

Hello, thank you very much for your comment.

I tried both and they both have the same effect.

I tried using both "." and ","

@luides do you have any page configurations associated with this field? If yes, turn them off and check.

Hello @Vimukthi Mahakumbura , thank you very much for your comment.

There are no fields configured, it is the system default.

Hi @luides,

Could you kindly check the preferred languages that you are using on your browser (Browser Settings > Preferred Languages). Are you using something other than English as your top language.

This seems to be the cause of the issue. When using German as my top language I came across the issue even when using “.” to separate the decimal values.

However, for English the issue was no there for both “.” and “,”

Kindly check and let us know your comments.

Best Regards,

Uvina Jayamaha.

Hi @Uvina Jayamaha,

Thank you very much for your reply, I just had to change the language in the browser and it worked!

I will pass this on to my superiors because I believe it is a "Problem" when it comes to Brazilian localization, as many users will want to use the language in Portuguese.
