Our customer would like the “Show Associated Notes” option in the Service Notes tab of the Request screen to be enabled by default, so that they don’t have to manually check the box each time.
I wasn’t able to configure this in the Page Designer — does anyone have an idea on how this could be achieved, or is it simply not possible within the current setup?

This is an aspect that you can not control with the Page Designer or trough any other configuration. In the picture that you post I think that you mistake the command group ‘View Note’ with the list filter ‘Show Associated Notes’. The later is an application applied search context that is not possible to control trough configuration.
