Hi,We’re just getting started with IFS and I’m trying to understand how Manufacturing Part Attributes get populated. I can see that they are stored in ManufPartAttribute entity but can’t see how they qualify to get included in that entity. I can’t add a new one from Manufacturing Part Attributes screen so I guess that adding something to a Master Part is creating a ManufPartAttribute but I can’t work out what.Any help appreciated. 

All,We are upgrading to IFS Cloud 23R2 (Remote) from Apps 10, where we have historically used FTP as a repository type. Since this is no longer supported, we are moving to File Share and use of a Windows share instead.We have manually moved the files from FTP to File Share.I am looking for guidance on what I need to do to change the "file pointer" in Docman as well as add some metadata used by File Storage please for all our existing documents?Does someone have a pre-existing script they would be willing to provide? Thanks in advanceShaun

Hello,  Is it possible to create a Business Report with more than one sheet? I need 3 different sheets inside the same report, but when I try it after save the sheets are hidden (and not possible to unhide) and after close the Business Report I can’t find it anymore. Thanks in Advance

Hi All,There is a Other Plugin Script type plugin report created for label. There is a custom field referred from the report. All other fields are visible except the custom field  CF_Customer_Name is the custom field. below is the screenshot from .rpl file Custom fields are enabled to the Logical Unit from rdf file and custom fields are added to the section using Xml_Record_Writer_SYS.Add_Custom_Fields method. Tried refreshing caches as well. All the other values are  visible on the report except custom field value. Is there any reason for this?Thanks in Advance

I face below problem with Script A Rest RMB All the DLLs inside the temp folder seems not accessible by the application when using the RMB.But if I run a command from Script A Rest.exe works as expected Not sure this is an error in the latest build of the tool.I downloaded from below link https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r1/060_development/050_development_tools/150_script_a_rest/#appsettingsconfigI have used this tool earlier without any problem. Hi everyone,We’re trying to implement a very simple overtime policy in IFS Cloud HCM / Time & Attendance (24R2) and I’m struggling to get the rules to behave as expected.Business requirementEmployee group Weekly contract What should happen Full-time staff 37 h 30 m Never allowed to enter (or have calculated) overtime. Part-time staff Anything < 37 h 30 m Can book additional hours up to 37 h 30 m; anything beyond that should switch to normal overtime.  What I have tried Overtime Rule Period Type = Week Full-time rule → Period Qty = 0 Part-time rule → Period Qty = 37.5 and “Max Hours” on the first overtime interval Rule Types linked to each Overtime Rule and assigned to employees via Employee Schedules & Rules. For part-time, I set the first interval after the contract end to an “EXTRA” wage code and limited the hours to 37 h 30 m. Recalculated clockings. Issue Full-time employees can still pick an overtime wage code on Timesheets / T&A.

When you run FsMigTool.cmd, the follow error log is output. I understand that I need to set the information in the red box in the error log (Docman options, APP9 DB connection information, IFS Cloud connection information).I would like to know how to set it up. IFS Cloud Version: 23.1.16

I have tried setting up the inventory part and the inventory part planning data with different settings.I can only get two types of orders and status:Purchase Order        Released StatusPurchase Req           Planned StatusIs there any other options?  We would like it to go to a Purchase Order in planned status for review before releasing.

The combination of Inventory Part Cost Level by Cost per Lot batch with serial tracking "not in stock" is not permitted and is displayed with an error message in the dialogue. Saving is not possible.We do not understand the reason for this restriction and would like to ask whether this was also required in other projects and how it was handled.Thx and best regards

When modifying a view in IFS Cloud development, is it possible to override and add an OR condition to the WHERE clause that originally exists in the core?In my testing, I copied the WHERE definition and added an OR condition. This resulted in duplicate code in the apv file created by code generation.Override with Cust layerAPV file created by code generationDoes anyone know of any other ways to add an OR condition by overriding?

This issue I am seeing is in IFS Cloud 24R1 both SU 10 and SU 11.  We have noticed a issue with our Remaining Labor Hours and Remaining Man Hours in IFS when having Shop Order Operations running concurrently.  For example, employee clocks onto Shop Order A and Shop Order B, because both are on the same machine (say a Laser or Press Brake).  Each Shop Order has 20 hours per unit planned, and Lot Size of 1, so 20 hours total planned on the Operation.  Employee works for a total of 10 hours for the day, clocked to both Shop Order A and Shop Order B at the same time (concurrent operations).   Now, after clocking out for the day, IFS will apply 10 Machine Hours on each Shop Order Operation, so the Remaining Machine Time for each Shop Order is 10 hrs.  And, for each Shop Order, it will take the employees Man Hours and divide it by two (as employee was on 2 Ops at the same time all day), so each Shop Order gets 5 Man Hours reported.  But, in Report Operations, it will show the full 10 hours o

Hello all!Our organization recently updated from Cloud version 23R1.8 to 24R2.5. With the update we have run into an issue when attempting to use the “Create Customer Order” command button on the Business Opportunity page. Specifically, if a business opportunity contains lines that span multiple sites this button used to create multiple customer orders (one for each site) but now it produces an error that states “The Site Object Does Not Exist”.  We have tested this with a mixture of different sites and customers with no luck yet.  It doesn’t appear to be an issue with basic data.  We are working around the issue by using the “New Customer Order” command button on the line level and creating the orders separately with that method but returning to using just one command would be ideal. Any ideas what the issue may be would be greatly appreciated!

Deprecation of the FTP and Shared repository types in Docman in 23R2 - a heads-up This post is only relevant for Remote customer installations. For managed cloud customers, FTP and Shared document repositories are NOT supported. This is a heads-up on IFS deprecating support for the FTP and Shared repository types in Docman in IFS Cloud 23R2, for complete removal in 24R1.If you have customers using these two repository types today, you should plan for migrating to Database or File Storage.If you are planning to implement this in Remote Deployment in IFS Cloud right now, you should reconsider, and use File Storage or Database.In Remote deployment, File Storage will still have support for local/external storage (outside the database) by supporting SMB/network shares. BACKGROUND Back in the day, Docman started out with support for "external" file storage via our support for FTP and Shared (folders) as the only repository types. How can I cleanup an old order that is Partially Invoiced? Can I adjust the sale QTY to matched invoiced? I can’t Undo delivery. This order is really old, I just want to get it closed? Ideally I would like adjust the all quantities to match Invoiced QTY. Thanks,  

Hi everyone,I’m currently logged in as an HR user in IFS Cloud and have noticed that I can view the documents of my manager(supervisor), who is also part of the HR department. This raises a concern, as these documents may be confidential and should ideally not be accessible to peers or subordinates within the same department.Is there a way to configure access controls so that HR users can only view Their own documents Documents of employees who report to them but not those of employees at the same level or above in the organizational hierarchy (especially within HR)?I would appreciate any guidance on how to set up this kind of access restriction, whether through permission sets, document access roles, or any other recommended configuration in IFS Cloud.Thanks you. I have attached a screenshot for your reference and all the 4 documents that can be seen in below SS related to user HJ should not be visible to logged in user MW  

I imported an OpenAPI spec from IFS API Explorer into my .NET Web API project to expose the IFS APIs through Swagger UI.When I try to call the APIs from Swagger, I get a CORS error in the browser.Is there a way to enable CORS in the IFS environment so that these API calls can work from a browser? or another alternative approch to use swagger ui to call REST endpoints?

We are trying to restrict a certain document class that only users in a specific person group can upload using it. Others are set up to have view access to the document class but we only want 1 person group to be able to upload a document to this specific document class.
