We have one user that receives the below “Could not load metadata for CustomerOrder” error in 2 of our environments.
Typically I’ve seen this error tied to issues with Page Designer or with the security User Group related to a Page Designer context, but in this situation there are other users with the exact same User Groups/Contexts who are not having this issue.
What else could be causing this issue?
Below is what we have tried:
- Checked the Page Designer configurations for this page. (There is 1 change to the Global context, and other changes to a context called NAF that is tied to a security User Group called NAF. This user is part of a different security User Group, so it should be defaulting to the Global context. This page loads normally for all other users with the same setup.)
- Changing the user’s security User Group to NAF
- Clearing the user’s projection cache
- Logging in/out
- Using a different browser
- Debug log is empty for this error
- I had the user open Page Designer -- this did cause the page to load and display data, and the page stayed loaded even when she closed Page Designer. However, if she navigates away from the page and back to it again, she receives the Metadata error again.
