24.1.5We toggled the Mandatory Expiration Date (under Shelf Life on the Inventory Part page) on several parts. After doing so, several of those parts showed up when we ran MRP, despite having no demand source. I’m trying to figure out why that toggle alone would impact MRP. The Days, Minimum Remaining Days at CO Delivery, and Minimum Remaining Days for Planning are blank or set to 0.  

We need to ship parts from the supplier directly to the customer. I have three parts in the test company that are NOT DECIDED as the sourcing option. I create a sales order and add all three parts. All three lines have the same supplier and all three Supply Codes are set to Purch Order Dir. When I release the sales order, three requisitions are created, one for each line. Can I make one requisition instead of three?

I’m wondering if there is a way to have approved Absence/PTO requests appear in the Dispatch Console? Currently, managers have to create Misc Resource Allocations so that it appears in the DC and the technician doesn't get scheduled during that approved Absence. Not sure if this is native functionality or if configuration is needed?

Hi, We have a requirement where an PO acknowledger should be restricted from making changes in PO(change in amount). Only authorizers should be eligible to make a change in the PO.  Can this be handled using a permission set or is there a basic set up that can handle this. 

Hi, We are dipping our toes into the Apps10 Projection RESTFul API call arena. We have a cached IAL that is called into a customer field and loads relatively quickly at all times in IEE. When the IAL is first published and and Select in the projection call specified it loads in the expected time (about 30 seconds) - if we then make a change to the IAL (such as adding new fields to be called) it will then takes 10mins to load.The following morning the new IAL and projection call loads in the 30 seconds. Is there an overnight job that cleans up? We have tried clearing projection cache using https://<ServerName>:<Port>/main/ifsapplications/projection/ClearCache?METHOD=CLEAR_PROJECTION_CACHE&VALUE=* Thanks, Matthew

Hi,we have raised this with IFS (case CS0336328) but we don’t know if we will get a fast enough response so are trying this route.We have tried to upgrade the Build Place for MYDentist to 24R2 UPD3 and experienced an error immediately.This project is on a critical time line and is being managed hour by hour, so every minute counts.Hope someone from IFS running the Clinic can assist us to move this issue forward. Best Regards,Steve Barker

We are creating transactions for transfer of fixed assets.  This uses the FAP51 is used for ‘Transfer Sale, Acquisition Value, Counter Posting’ Posting type.  The control type associated with this is AC1.  Our accounting team would like to have AC8 used so that the account is different when going to one company vs. another.  When we attempt to connect FAP51 to AC8, we are unable.  Is this possible to do so that we can have different accounts by company for transfers, or do we need to do a GL adjustment to move the $ after the transfer is complete?Thank you for your consideration.Robin 

Our company recently upgraded from Apps 10 to Cloud, and in Apps 10 we had a custom LU called Ecommerce which was added as a custom tab on the Part page. When trying to add this custom tab in Cloud, the data is populating but I can not edit any data in the custom tab. I’m getting the following error:“Client Warnings are not supported for CREATE, UPDATE, DELETE operations in [Ecommerce] entity. So 'X-IFS-Accept-Warnings' request header cannot be set to 'true'.”Is there a way to enable client warnings for this entity, or another way to get around this error message?

Hi, We are running IFS Cloud 24R1 with enabled SSO.We have external intergrator, that needs to read API Documentation of approx. 15 REST APIs. If we send them link to the API Doc - they have to log in  to IFS. i.e. we have to create EndUser, include in our email system, etc. Can we “share” API Documentations without need of log into our IFS system?I wonder how do you solve this? I would be grateful if someone could share some good ideas with me.Br. The Eastern Time changed in the U.S. from EST (UTC-5) to EDT (UTC-4) this past Sunday.  I have updated the time zone offset for our associated site and the IFS Timeclock Clockings are still incorrect by one hour. Any ideas on how to get the time zone update to be reflected within the IFS Timeclock?

We are currently implementing a workflow that allows us to create customer sales orders. Tests on a small scale are okay and we are happy.However, as soon as we move to a larger scale, the workflow crashes without an error.The dataset is composed of the same order that we create X times, so we know that we have no functional problems because iterating 30 creations, for example, is okay, but not 100.We have already limited the return of the projection as much as possible by using $select to retrieve only the desired columns.We have not exceeded the line reading limit per projection (10.000) (at most we read 5000 lines) and we don't think we have a problem with CASCADE_LIMIT because we set it to 250,000 for testing.We are more inclined towards a memory/CPU/space limit for the one of the pods.Do you have any knowledge of documentation or experience to parameterize the recommended memory or CPU or disk size? ​@dsj ​@kamnlk ​@IFS RD Product Management  Thank’s in advance
