When we extract customer tax IDs and validate them through the EU VAT validation system (VIES), we currently use GR as the country code. However, VIES requires the use of EL, which means the Finance team has to manually change the country code before uploading the data.To address this, I created a new country code entry for Greece using EL, but I’m reconsidering this approach. It doesn’t seem appropriate to have two ISO codes representing the same country, as this could lead to inconsistencies in our system (I have deleted the country code EL again).I’d appreciate your thoughts on how we should handle the ISO country code setup for Greece. Should we stick with the official ISO code GR, or is there a better way to align with VIES requirements without compromising data integrity?

The customer has requested modifications to the standard report layouts, specifically to include the company’s webpage, email address and organization no in the report footers. Since these are common company details, I created custom fields to store this information. However, there is currently no option to add such fields unless they are tied directly to the relevant entity.As a result, I had to add the two fields separately to the PurchaseOrder entity for the Purchase Order report, and to the CustomerOrder entity for the Invoice report. If similar requirements arise for other reports, I will need to repeat this process for each respective entity.Given that these are basic, common company details used across multiple reports, it would be more efficient to have a shared/common entity where such report-related fields can be maintained centrally. This would reduce duplication and simplify maintenance. ​

In Cloud I can define a Calendar with Exceptions for public Holidays. This can be used to define that a Customer does not get service on a public Holiday.But when I am using Shift Patterns to define resource working time, is there a way to define public holidays?Even when there is a Calendar defined for the resource as well as the Shift Pattern, the calendar and Calendar exceptions do not appear to have any impact on the Resource Availability generated from the Shift Patterns for the Resource.Note: this is using Shift Patters not HCM based shifts

Hello, we have an issue where a PO was in USD and then at confirmation, the system automatically converted the USD amount to EUR amount but kept the USD currency, so the price is wrong. Does anyone know how it could be possible ? I saw there was a similar issue on the delivery notes of the 24R1 SU11 but i don’t have the details of the case : SCZ-27580 CS0380042 Two CS0380042 Issue with currency change and price recalculation in Purchase Order NOTSET Supply Chain   Correction The issue of not recalculating the price correctly when the purchase order currency is changed via Purchase Order> Order details is fixed now. With the correction base amounts and currency amounts updated accordingly with the provided currency rate. 24.1.11    

Hi everyone,I'm working with media/technical drawings in IFS Cloud, and I’m having trouble setting a background color behind the image.As you can see in the screenshot below, the drawing is transparent and overlays the interface, which makes surrounding text and labels barely readable.I’ve tried changing W-600-COLOR in the Appearance Designer, but the media area still remains transparent.Is there a way to apply a solid background (e.g. white or light gray) behind a media file in IFS?  Any help or best practices would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance,

Is it possible to change the parent company on a subsidiary company in IFS?  

HiWe have set this up before and it worked but since we moved to R23.2 U17 suddenly I do not have the option of adding an attachment anymore. The only option I have is “Create new”.  There used to be three options.Anybody else have this problem? and how can I solve it? Thanks for checking and sharing.Judith

In IFS Cloud, does anyone know how to embed a URL within an event action email message?For example, I created an event that notifies a user when they have been assigned as a coordinator on an MRB. The event sends the user an email and within the email body, it provides the user a link to the MRB they have been assigned to.I do not know how to recreate that URL functionality in IFS Cloud.Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

We have found it is now not possible to enter a ‘Single Occurrence Address’ on a Customer Order due to a change in the code added 07/09/2023,  "--  230907  NiDalk   SCDEV-26130, Modified Check_Before_Update___ to add check to block setting single occurance for consignment stock Is there are background to this change and is there a workaround as this is a requirement.

Is it possible to get the report output with a specific name while printing and downloading? Currently, I have noticed that the file is generated with random numbers. We would like to make it more meaningful — for example, for Customer Orders or Purchase Orders, it would be helpful if the report name could include the CO or PO number. Please share if there are any suggestions or best practices for implementing this.

Hello,  In the Customer Consignment Stock Consumptions page, customer is consuming by the lot number.  I noticed there is no Purchase Order No. or Customer Order field to tie back the lot number to that specific order, is that something that can be added?  There could be 80 - 100 different lot numbers that the customer will consume, there doesn’t seem to be a clear way of locating the purchase order or order number for the material at the customer consignment location.  

In the Revenue Recognition Information tab in the project group there is a checkbox to Post Actual and Recognized Revenue Difference. What does this mean and what does it do if checked?

In a shop order, when there is a variance, I get detailed breakdowns of material, labor, machine and subcontracting costs in individual buckets and INVTRANHIST transaction.However, when I manipulate something on a production schedule and capture a variance, I am JUST getting a single PSDIFF transaction and that is NOT broken out by material, labor, machine and subcontracting costs.Has anyone encountered this and if so, how did you do a detailed variance analysis of production schedules to break out and report on material, labor, machine and subcontracting costs???

ERROR: The Inventory Part in stock object does not exist.I’m in APP9 and have 2 work orders that are project connected. We have used move serial to inventory functionality to move the serial object into stock. I’ve confirmed they are in stock and project connected. The work order status was reviewed, all postings are authorized and all lines are not invoiceable on the transfer to customer order screen. When the user tries to change work order status to Finished, this error is received. I’m unsure how to resolve this issue and didn’t see anything in other posts with this same issue that would help me. 

We have custom LOV’s in Cloud.  When using the Find option, there are no hearts that would normally be clicked to create a Favorites list.  We have a maint org LOV in the task with hearts, but in the business opportunity we had to customize the list and there are no hearts.  Is there a way to create Favorites on the custom LOV?

To anyone in the IFS Community,I’m having issues with the IFS MWO Service app on both Android and Windows. I’m able to initialize (Force Initialize) and use the application but it isn’t reflecting simple page designer changes such as a label rename.I’ve verified that this isn’t an issue with other Page Designer contexts and have found errors within the application log from initialization. Hi All,I have a scenario once the workorder has been created from the PM schedule, the workorder completion date must be within the particular period. One of the Maintenance department’s KPIs is to perform the work order within that particular time period. If it’s going beyond that period, it’s considered as ‘Over due’. Then that will impact their KPI. In IFS, do we have a method(either lobby or field) to track this work order completion Overdue. Any suggestions for this scenario?Thanks & Best Regards,Nipun

To ensure the appropriate resources are spent where most users will benefit from improvements, we need to have a way to see the total usage of a page or module in IFS Cloud.How can that be done today and is there a plan to implement some tools for the system admins to gain this insight?Br Hans

Hello All!Is there a setting in IFS Cloud where I can tell it what context I would like to default to when editing a page via the page designer?  We have several contexts, one of which I am part of, so when I go to open the page designer it defaults to that context.  However, that context is only needed for a couple pages and I am almost always working on the global context instead.  AS an example, here is the context setting when I open the page designer on the purchase order screen -   Notice it defaults to “ACE Part Team”.  This page doesn’t even have a saved configuration for that context, yet it still defaults to this.  I need to remember to change that value to global every time I want to edit, and it is becoming frustrating.

Is there a way in IFS Cloud to set an item as default as non-consumed at part level instead of doing this at the product structure level?If not, where in IFS cloud can done a mass update for all the product structures the articles is used in. 

Hi,I’m using a Migration Job to import some Customer Orders.  When Customer Orders are created in Aurena we have a custom action in place that creates a new Financial Project, and connects the new Customer Order to the Financial Project.  I can see this running in the Log Window, which shows that the action name is “Cf_CreateConnectFinancialProject” and the Projection is “CustomerOrderHandling”: I can confirm that this Projection>Action exists by looking at the Projection in Enterprise Explorer: What I’m stuck on is how I call this action from my Migration Job, as it claims the method doesn’t exist:
