HCM (Human Capital Management, Payroll)

Has anyone used this option while setting up wage codes? I have a scenario where an employee enters the amount for being on call support and not hours. I was wondering if following field can be used for that purpose? I tried a set up with Increment type Wage code and wage code type ‘Increment amount’ but that didn’t work.Another solution is to enter some hours and payroll multiplies it with the amount factor, but if we have this option available then it can be used.  

I am working with a customer that is creating items via the configurator.  They would like to inherit the lot/batch number of a component (manufactured or raw material) to the configured item as the lot/batch number of the configured item.Yes, there is a neat lot/batch origin feature on a normal product structure component item but that same feature has not been developed on the configuration structure component item.Has anyone encountered the issue before and if so, how did you resolve it?  Do you think this might be good suggestion for R&D?  Oh, this neat little flag also does NOT exist on the Interim Order component lines either. The lot/batch origin flag DOES appear on the shop order component lines.  Hence I think we may not have followed that concept through far enough. Thanks! 

My customer has the organization units with the names for example MARKETING, FINANCE, HR instead of having the cost center as org.unit. In overview window “Organization Units” each org.code (MARKETING, FINANCE, HR etc) has a value in the field Cost.center (from Financials). My question: How to set up the posting control for posting type PRJT and the Control Type: to have the cost.center (from the organization unit) in code part for cost.center (not the org.unit).

Hi All,In my case, employee add their working time against the project activities. Normal schedule hours per day is 8hrs. But employee is allowed to report more than 8hrs. Any functionality in IFS to block employee adding more than 8hrs. Regards,MalinG

In timeregistration - grid view - Aurena, we can move sideways by using tab.  But how can we move Up and Down in the “weekday-columns” … We can not figure out how this works….  We run IFS 10, update 15, Aurena Hoping for answers :)Regards, Heidi

Hi,I’m going to generate some absence limits for 2023. I use absence type CO. However, it shows me Limit End Date as 29/7/2022. Could this be possible? Any idea how to correct this?Thank you!

In IFS Cloud 22R2 we want to be able to allow someone to use “Add Compensation” text command feature but when selecting register, modify and approval options in the Access Attribute this doesn’t enable the text command for “Add Compensation” on My Employees Information Is this configured elsewhere or is the Text Command not available there as standard? Any help would really be appreciated. 

Dears,We have an issue with  FEB rustle in Payroll GOSI Calculation, The formula worked for All employees in January. But when we run it again for February 2023 we had an issue for some of them . However , there are no change in the enter date or wages amount in those cases.Would you have any cases like this happened before ? what was the solution ? Regards,

I had to retroactively had to move someone with drag and drop into their new position under their new manager in the Graphical Position Structure, as this had not been done when they moved positions. However, the valid from date took the date I made the change instead letting me change it to the date they actually moved positions and the day before for the valid to date for the old position. These seem to be non-editable fields, so how can I get round this to put in the correct dates? I am a system admin, so should have full access to the whole system. The dates shown are wrong and need changing to the correct ones. Thanks

Before Address 3, 4, 5 and 6 fields were available in IEE, we used County as an address line 3 to get more space. Now I have changed from County to Address 3 for the country HK, and paste the previous info into the new empty field. However, the info in field County is still visible. Also if I’m doing changes in the new field, the previous text is still visible. What can I do to get this correct?

I am trying to understand the reason why the duration time record is 0.80 when the start time and stop time are the same.Do you have any idea why the duration time on the last record does not subtract correctly from (start time - stop time) * Time Share?  Thanks,JL

A customer asks,We have an existing Wage Class, Hourly, that contains many commonly used Wage Codes.  HR has requested we activate the Long Wage Code option for the Wage Class so we can use more letters per code.  Would changing the existing Class to allow longer wage codes affect any of the already existing structures or have any unintended side effects?

Hi All,I need an option in time registration window to connect the country where the employee is located in at the moment of reporting time.Assume that employee is located in UK on Monday and Tuesday and employee located in Germany on Thursday and Friday. Hello, We are using the company sick pay setup and with employees that are on long term sick, we are finding the balances not working as intended. As an example we have balances either not reducing but actually increasing where it shouldn'tfirst examplesecond example same employee 

Hello everyone, Does anyone know if there is somewhere a configuration in IFS Cloud to see the status “authorized” on the timesheet? I authorize the hours on a project, but the status in time registration remains in “completed” or “Confirmed” (if the hours are confirmed):If I check after the project transactions, in the column “Approved” I have “yes”. That means the hours are authorized. So normally it shouldn’t  let me to modify the hours that are approved, but it let me modify the timesheet.  Thank you for your help! 

In apps, IFSAPP could grant supervisor access.  In cloud, we don’t even give it to the customer.  How do we grant the first HR superuser supervisor access now? 

Hi,Is it planned on the HCM roadmap to provide an offline capability (via a mobile app for instance) to report an incident and to execute a safety inspection, in sync with Health & Satefy module ?In the Service industry, these types of actions are performed on the field and it can be in remote places with no network connection.This is a game changer for the customer I am currently working for.Kind regards,Lénaïc

I received the below request. to apply on IFS9i didn’t use IFS payroll system before.please advise. Please correct the numbers in IFS as per revised rate before processing payroll for January. Furthermore, since the nature of transaction is prepaid, credit entry should be mapped to below prepaid account not to accruals. Please correct the existing mapping.
