Kindly verify whether the Balance ID FLOATER connected to a Rule Type and then that Rule Type is connected to the employee.
Checked both and yes they are linked properly

I checked them - they are the same day as in valid from is the same on both - is that OK
Yes that’s fine and this ‘Account Date’ for which you are trying to enter the balance start value falls within the range too?
Yes the start date and account date are the same date
What is the current UPD version please?

We have same error. I did not find a solution, but recognized the cause of the error. When creating new line in “Balance Start Values” the “Account Date” cannot be same or prior to employee first day of the schedule i.e. if employee’s first day is 08/03/2023 than the earliest “Accounting Date” for the balance can be anything that is > 08/03/2023 (09/03/2023 or higher).
