Hello,

We are testing our first data archive objects but to deploy to production , we need to know if in cloud IFS want knew tablespace for the new tables create. For know , we are testing with the ifsapp_data (and ifs app_index) tablespace but is it the good way ? Is it possible that IFS create specific tablespace on every environment to store the archives tables ?

Hi @FRABOU_BEN,

Data Archive objects can be stored in the standard archive tablespaces provided by IFS, namely IFSAPP_ARCHIVE_DATA and IFSAPP_ARCHIVE_INDEX, when these are available in the environment.

While IFSAPP_DATA and IFSAPP_INDEX can technically be used, the dedicated archive tablespaces are intended to keep archived data separated from active transactional data.

We could not find any indication that IFS Cloud automatically creates additional customer-specific tablespaces for each archive object or environment.
