Since current certified Ubuntu 22.04 version has end of standard support in Maj 2027, we would like to know, when we can expect a newer Ubuntu version to be certified.

When or on which version will Ubuntu 24.04 be certified for IFS Cloud

Currently, the only officially certified Linux platform for the IFS Cloud Middle Tier is Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS. However, there is an active R&D roadmap item to certify Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS for IFS Cloud Middle Tier deployments, including fresh installations, HA deployments, air-gapped deployments, and upgrades from Ubuntu 22.04.
At this point, IFS has not yet published an official certification release date. Therefore, while Ubuntu 24.04 certification is planned and actively being worked on, we cannot provide a committed timeline until the certification process and Supported Platforms documentation are officially updated.
We understand the concern since Ubuntu 22.04 standard support ends in May 2027. Ubuntu 24.04 LTS is the next target platform being certified to address customers' long-term infrastructure planning requirements.
