We are currently running IFS 10 release 6 on our Azure environment.  This setup is using Azure AD Proxy.But in our test environment we have IFS10 release  8 which is using a different setup that causes an issue with websockets on that Azure AD Proxy software.  According to IFS we should use Azure Application Gateway, but we have no clue how this should be done and our Azure partner is also lost in the recommendation of IFS. IFS itself claims that the installation and setup of this Azure Application Gateway is typically done by the customer, and can’t give us any more information on how to do this. Is there anybody outthere who knows how this should be setup? Or who can share the nesecary information for us to get this going? BRFiliep

DefColVisibility is a Profile Entry for table pages, but I’m not sure what it does.  I get that ColVisibility is used to show/hide columns.  I figured DefColVisibility would be something like Default Column Visibility so I set the value to false (0) for one of the columns and it didn’t do anything.  If the “Def” prefix doesn’t mean default, what does it mean?

Hi,I’m trying to move our SMTP from our on premise exchange to O365…  I’m trying to use smtp.outlook365 as the SMTP host, ive tried port 25 and 587 but nothing works..someone mentioned that they used a mail.protection.outlook.com host and port 25 which sort of works for internal addresses but i still cant send external…has anyone successfully got this working? what settings have you used? Thanks,Mick.

We have a customer on Apps10 UPD7 trying to set up Active Directory User Integration Configuration but have not been successful.When 'Database Authentication not allowed' is unchecked, they receive error"Failed to perform LDAP search: [LDAP: error code 1 - 000020D6: SvcErr: DSID-031007E5, problem 5012 (DIR_ERROR), data 0"When 'Database Authentication not allowed' is 'checked, no users are synchronized.Please see attached screen shot

Hi All,Trying to add the Message class DELSCH in the connectivity section so I can automate intersite transactions. When I try and add this I get the attached error that the procedure does not exist. Hi  I'm trying to setup a media connection from purchase order receipt to the purchase order header. This is so we can scan delivery notes via the camera functionality on the WaDaCo receipt arrival process and the PL team can then see this in attachments.  Can anyone possibly help with the transformation method on this? thanks  Nick    

Hello - looking for any Oracle database experts out there….We use a database backup tool named Unitrends to backup our instance of IFS.  The tool basically leverages RMAN to backup Oracle using the ARC archive files created.  We are having an issue when trying to run the process, has anyone ever seen the following error? We are using Windows Server 2012 R2 as our database server:I am struggling to understand how to grant a Windows user account DBA privileges?  Any ideas on this?Many thanks!!

This seems like it should be easy but I cannot figure it out.  I want to create a custom event for the purchase_order_line_tab using  the execute online sql action.  The goal is when a PO line is entered, use the value from one field, use that in a function to return a value and insert that value into another field for the same PO line.  For a test I can just hard code the value for now.  If I was just creating a trigger I would do something like below.  Any suggestion on what I need to do to get this to work. declare  a_ varchar2(20);begin  a_ := 'Test Result';  :NEW.part_revision := a_;end; ThanksPhil

We are currently outputting to CSV from the manual supplier invoices screen.The invoices often have documents attached.I would like the output CSV to contain a hyperlink to the attachment so user can select the link and open a click 2 run session to see the attachment.Is that possible? If so.. how?

 I am trying to connect an IAL definition to a Data Source Designer Element, but when I click the preview button I get an “SQL command not properly ended”.  Here is a screen shot of my IAL Object Developer, below that is a screen shot of my report designer and below that is a screen shot of the error I am getting.IAL Object DeveloperData Source Designer 

We need to store some information about serialized parts that stays even if the part is no longer in stock.  I have created a custom field on the part serial record to store this information.  I would like to be able to go to Part Serials and add the information to  a large batch of serial numbers at one time.  However, it looks like the Part Serials table is not updateable.Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?

We have a customer in Germany that requires .xml reporting for invoices.  We tried using a .rdl report from IFS to generate the .xml successfully.  However, the report shows our Parent US company name on it and not our subsidiary from Europe.  Even though the invoice is for the other Company (FR200)in IFS.  How do we update/fix the .rdl to have the Europe company name on the report instead of US? 

Have made changes to a data source, then the applicable element, cleared server cache and lobby cache (URL) with no luck.I know I must be missing something simple, but I do not know what it is. Sincerely,VK

Can someone point me to the technical document for creating a custom field in Aurena.I have one created and published in IEE - IFS10  , need to see that in Aurena Page designer…  looks like i am missing some small detail of matching projection or LU… Thanks

Question to any Apps10 customers hosted in the cloud. When you are hosted in the cloud, the only document management option is to store documents in the database.  AS time goes on and the number of stored documents grow, this causes longer back-up times and increased database size.Has anyone tried to moved out obsolete or retired documentation?

The excel file has an error, and there seems to be some connections to Business Reporter remaining.  If I download the same report from the report archive, it has the business reporter tab and I can export it with conditions to remove the BR connections.  When I email that, the report can be opened with Data and without errors.   Anyone seen this ?Thanks,bob

For some reason Search with Keywords does not functioning in APP10 Customer database. Is there any specific setup? 

We changed our MAIL_SENDER parameters to Office365 parameters. When I do a RMB and use Print Order en select Send E_MAIL to… this MAIL_SENDER is working. When I do a RMB and use E-MAIL order no E-MAIL is sent. I can see in the Firewall that nothing is even leaving the IFSAS server. Does anyone knows where to fix this problem? Thank you in advance!

Good afternoonWe are upgrading from IFS8 to IFS10. We noticed in IFS10 Quick Report output in Excel/CSV is adding 00:00 timestamp while the report column in IFS is only displaying Date.Same report IFS8 is working fine. no added timestamp when output to Excel. Can anyone point on how to fix this. I am thinking this could be some server setting that’s converting date to Long format. Your input will be valuable in this regards,Thanks
