Afternoon,I’m looking to split our test environments over two different middleware servers. We currently have 5 different test environments which are located on a single windows server.What I’m thinking of doing. Instead of installing from fresh is to clone the VM, sysprep etc and amend any config files within the two instances I bring online over on the second middleware server.Can anyone see any issues doing this or any tips if you’ve did similar before?We’re currently running on Apps 9.Regards,Ryan

Hi Community.  When looking at report rules we would like to add multiple PDF inserts onto a report. It seems that the second “Insert PDF” action doesnt take effect when printing the document.  Is there a way to accomplish this without merging the two documents into one?

Hi All,  I am having error “IFS application is busy initializing, cannot attach to it” during IFS EE (IFS 10 UPD 10) startup after DB and APP server restart  and could not login to the application from my computer. Other users do not have any issues. Tried to clear the cache by runnig “rundll32 dfshim CleanOnlineAppCache”. All MWS servers are up and running, nothing strange in the logs found, Aurena works fine. Any suggestions?Thanks.

Hi,I have a list in Aurena where there is a command action to create a quick report and execute it to view the results.Once the quick report is created I have the quick report ID, so I can navigate to quick report assistant using below.In IEE, when the quick report dialog get opened we are setting few report parameters to auto populate using Then executing the quick report sung the quick report No and reportParams.My question is how we can achieve this in Aurena, as I couldn’t find a way to pass report parameters when navigating to quickreport as shown above. Could only pass the report ID but not the Quick Report Parameters.I want to have above fields populate from whatever the values I send from my source page where I have this command action.Is this possible in Aurena?Also how we can remove the temporary create quick report from that same command action after executing the report?Greatly appreciate your support to solve this.Many Thanks ! 

I cannot find the option ‘User’ under Solution Manager/Security. There are only two options listed:  User Groups, and Users. There is NO menu for User. I’ve also found  that I cannot go to the User Details when choosing a user as in IEE.So where can I create a user and where could I check the details of a user account.I’ve tried as appowner.Do I miss something? or our application has missed anything?  ThanksWen

Hi,This is a outbound integration from IFS to another system.I have created a migration job and, it is creating a csv file in DB server location.File is created in DB server.   Now I need to transfer csv file automatically from DB server to MWS.Is there any possibility to do this?If there a csv file in DB server than, it will be transferred to MWS automatically.Can I do this using routing address and routing rules?Thank you,Malan Jayanka 

Can we deploy several Quick Reports via Application Configuration Package in IFS10 UPD9, I tried to create one ACP but cannot add report in it, getting following error. any pointers to resolve this. I am adding from this Quick report from Solution Manager but Right Clicking on it and using ‘Add to Package’ option. Thanks

Hi, I’m trying to check if we could modify the SOAP envelope for easier routing. We currently send invoice by e-invoicing method and trying to change to EDI approach for some specific customers. So the provider would like to have something in the envelope to differentiate between e-invoice and EDI invoice and that they can separate invoices.  Once suggestion from them is changing the  party like:(<eb:To><eb:PartyId>OT_EDI</eb:PartyId><eb:Role>Intermediator</eb:Role></eb:To>)which is shown empty for e-invoice.  Does anyone know how to solve this? Hi all,under certain circumstances we want to update the tax code in customer order line. The trigger-event is the release (saving) of the order line (we use CustomerOrderLineHist to not receive any mutating error).The code is as follows (I would say the code as such is fine : )) which I used in a similar way as well for several other updates of the order line:For any reason the API CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE_API.MODIFY_ does NOT update the tax code.Any ideas why this might be a problem. Hi Everyone,we upgrade our IFS version to 10 and  decided to use IFS Aurena for our existing Operational Reports. But when I click to the button named “Order Report” or “Schedule Report” , I have a permision for use aurena ,but this error message appears. Could you Help me to open it.  

Hi,We have just upgraded to IFS App10 UPD10. Many of our users complain that the new system is slower than App9. It’s intermittent. Usually when it happens, a rippling bar is moving on the top.of the page when you open it, even before running any query. Sometimes it’s quick and  the page opens in a few seconds and sometimes it’s slower. In App9, these pages normally open right away when you click them. I’ve been monitoring the database and it processes all the active sessions very quickly. When checking the Middleware, the only thing I could tell: there might be some issue with the TCP connections. From scale 0-10, they are full bar in TCP connections. The connections by httpd.exe seem to have longer latency then App9, generally the remote addresses are 192.168.122.xx. When checking the monitoring console. there show two hogging threads. After I’ve stopped the PrintAgent, there is one left. I don’t think it’s by any particular user, because it’s always there. So has anybody experienced

Hi,A directory is already defined in ALL_DIRECTORIS. But this is not visible in migration job → file path field.Does Any one have an idea about how to add that directory into File Path LOV./Malan Jayanka

We are using IFS Apps 10 + Update 11. We had a connection problem a few days ago and nobody was able to access Aurena (web interface) and Entreprise Explorer anymore. Usually restarting the services correct this kind of problem but it was not enough this time. We restarted the server as well but it took a long time and Windows completed some updates during that reboot. Once completed, the reboot lead to no result as well.The error message returned when trying to access Aurena is: Error 404--Not FoundThe error message returned when trying to start EE is:    Below is a summary of the errors, details of these errors are listed later in the log.    * Activation of https://ispd-agni1.irisco.local:48080/client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application resulted in exception. Is there any reason not to install the print agent on the MWS instead of on a separate Windows box? Has anyone done this? Any issues or results to report?

I am currently working on building a client application (WinForms based) using IFS Applications (10) REST APIs as backend. The authentication scheme I am planning to use is OAuth2 ROPC. What is the procedure to register a confidential client in Applications ?Is it possible to register the client using IFS Applications/Aurena? (similar to IAM Clients page in IFS Cloud)Any inputs on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,Avenash

Hi All, I have a custom filed with a lov reference where the view connected to it is referring a custom logical unit.Its displaying the values as expected like below.  But when i try to search using the project id below in the find window, am getting a server error.(Search using the display text works fine)   Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello everyone , I have a question close to topic :  I have 2 custom LU and here are the important fields : ParentLU : CF$_Cust_id → Persistant field , reference to  View Customer_info and key customer_idChildLu : CF$_ParentCust_id →  Persistant field , reference to view ParentLu and key CF$_CUST_ID I was able to create a custom menu with transfert from ParentLu  to ChildLu :  Now , i’m trying to make a menu with custom transfert from Child → Parent lu.I tried interchanging the destination and source key without sucess.Is this a key binding issue or a configuration issue of the custom “LU” ?(I’m unsing app10 UPD10)Thank you , Best regards

IFS is currently not saving filters previously used to search in a screen.For example: If I search for a particular Project, when returning to the screen the filter is cleared. Usually, these searches should be auto-filled when visiting the screen in relation to your last search.Could this be a matter of clearing the cache?
