We are trying to automate consolidation so it runs daily. We currently have to execute approximately four steps: Go into Reporting Status (within Group Consolidation > Balance Transfer and Adjustment) and select all the reported entities and click remove reported balances. We stay in Reporting Status (within Group Consolidation > Balance Transfer and Adjustment) and select all the reported entities and click report balances after we remove the reported balances. The, we go into Consolidation Status (Financials – Consolidation > Group Consolidation) and select the period we want to consolidate. Then, click rollback consolidation. Once rollback, we then click the top of the tree (highest node) and consolidate balances with the consolidation status. Is there any way to automate any parts of this? I looked at the documentation and couldn’t find anything. 

Hi, trying to use Context Mappings to limit who can edit a section of a page, but it’s for several user groups, not just one.  We have a mixture of user groups names - some have spaces, some don’t. I’ve tried a few things and can’t get it to work. To be clear, I’m here:  And here’s what I’m using.  There’s nothing in there but user groups, and they’re all in this format:(USERGROUP = “USERGROUPID HADSPACE”) OR (USERGROUP = OTHERUSERGROUPID), etc., etc. What am I doing wrong?

Is there any limitation for having nested List of Structures in REST API Integration Like below In above image each AnalysisNo object within AnalysisNo array have inner array called DataPoints, when I'm having the inner array I'm getting the below error, but when I tried to execute that function in PLSQL its executed without any errorwithout that Inner array it works fine as below Is there a limitation like this or any workaround for this? Below are the projection function and the structures 

Hi, I am trying to integrate IFS Cloud with another system to send data. To send the data first I need to get the access token. For this i am using x-www-form-urlencoded in postman and it works as expected and retrieves the access token correctly.  But if try this as a key value pair, am always getting an error. (Same if i try this from IFS as well). Am I missing anything here? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

I have a Workflow where I want to calculate Inventory Accuracy → in order to do this, I need to read all the lines in the CountResultsHandling → Reference_CountingReportLine for the current year.When I inspect the WF, I get the below error:The result set size exceeds either the row limit or the character limit for the Query Collection.What’s the max rows allowed in the Query Collection? Any advice how I could workaround this limitation?Of course, I could further filter the Colelction for a smaller time period, but my customer wants the WF to take into account the data for the full current year. @kamnlk any suggestion will be appreciated. 

Hello,I am just struggling to find the correct API for changing the state in routing alternate.  I just installed the extensino IFS cloud web devtools, but I don’t know where to look in there for called API’s??? Please help.

Currently in the process of setting up an integration in IFS Cloud 24r2Requirements:An External System will generate a CSV file containing the shop order number and place the file into a shared folder (external network) IFS should pick the CSV file up use the shop order no (contained in the file) to retrieve the relevant picklist The picklist information will be returned to the shared drive in required format The External System will retrieve the picklist information and use it to carry out picking, once completed the system will create a new CSV file confirming the completed picks IFS will then pick up this file and used the data to confirm picks in IFS.As the folder is on an external network the vendor of External System has advised that we will need to set up a Gateway to be able to access the shared folder on the external network.Am I correct in assuming that this will require setting up a VPN Gateway in Azure using the External Server network path e.g. \\ExternalServer\Shared alon

Hi All, When we try to send files from application to FTP server, following error message appear in the application message screen.Caused by: java.io.IOException: Error while writing to file [EDI810_CD18369111827.xml] However, once we change the FTP details (FTP reader) error changed to “Error during file sending Caused by: java.io.IOException: Could not login to FTP(S) server”. Therefore it seems the communication to FTP server working correctly.Note - We can access the FTP from file transfer software (WinScp/Filezilla) to place files in the FTP server using same credentials/details.

I recently attended the IFS Academy training course called “RESTful API Integration Development - IFS Applications 10” which explains how use IFS Connect to build IFS Apps 10 interfaces using restful APIs. I’ve have been trying to apply what I learned but cant get it to work :-( I’m calling a rest API of another platform to obtain some XML data, and then use a callback function to create some records in IFS based on the returned XML data. The Rest API call is working, and is returning the expected XML, but there’s an issue with my Callback function. Hi,Is it possible to create a Custom Field (Persistent or otherwise) that is selected via a LoV, and set it up so that only the parts with those Product Codes are visible when a new line is created?Here is the list: When creating a new line in Engineering Part Revision under ‘Consists Of’, it would be great if you could select your Product Code and only see options when choosing a Part Number that has those Product Codes.I’ve created a persistent field called ‘Test’. It is possible to bring up the LoV and select your Product Code: Here, I would like it so that when selecting the ‘Part Number’, only the items within that group appear. As you can see in the picture below, i am logged in the create user view, and i m modifying a user file, the debug console remains empty although i am logged with IFSAPP user.It woks fine on the other standard views, only the admin related views are “Protected”. System Info does not provide any information as well …What exactly is the logic here ? I am super admin, why i can t see the details of the views ? I need this information to get the API for creating events and PL/SQL codes. When i checked on IFS Cloud, this limitation does not exist. So is there something i did not activate properly ?

Hi All,Using IFS Cloud 23R2. I have configured external IAM Identity provider using ADFS login.IFS Cloud Web is working fine with the ADFS login without any issue.But when the user try to login in to IFS Business Reporter it hangs on Authenticating screen after clicking on login via ADFS option.I can login with default IDP though in Business Reporter. Issue is only when i try to login via ADFS. Has anyone else faced this issue.Thanks and Regards,Sahil Gupta

Hi, In IFS Apps 10, we had the ability to create custom menus that could call external URLs. These URLs could receive parameters from the page, and we could also use context substitution variables such as #DB_SID# or #USER#. For example, a URL might look like this:http://<URL>/db_sid=#DB_SID#.In the Cloud version, we can still call external URLs by creating a custom command button using the Page Designer. We can also continue to pass page parameters to the URL. However, as far as I know—and based on the documentation I’ve found—it seems that context substitution variables are no longer supported.Does anyone know if there is a replacement for these context substitution variables in the Cloud version? Specifically, is there a way to pass environment-specific information (like the database SID or user ID) to the URL from the Page Designer? /Michael

Hi, we are on Apps10 update 20.  We unapproved all the custom fields and unpublished them from shop order statistics yesterday due to some errors in the unneeded custom fields in that screen.  That worked fine, but today we are getting errors on a number of our custom fields in operation statistics (ORA-06512: at "IFSAPP.OPERATION_STATISTIC_CFP").  Some of the custom fields have the same name as in SO statistics, but does anyone know why unpublishing fields from one page would cause errors in another?   Should we have cleared some caches or something after we unpublished?Thanks-Mary

Why our Part cost are not accurate on shop order backflush? It seems that our part cost are not updating correctly on our shop orders. What cost field is pulled for an inventory part on a shop order?How does the Latest Purchase Price get updated on Inventory part? Is it automatically done or is there a process that needs to run? 

Dear Community,  We have in issue with Apps10 Projections, and maybe some of you faced the same issue previously. We did the following tests:Boomi connection to int API (“…/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/AllProjections.svc/Projections(ProjectionName='PurchaseOrderHandling'”) => works well Boomi connection to main API (“…/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/AllProjections.svc/Projections(ProjectionName='PurchaseOrderHandling') => failed Postman connection to int API (“…/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/AllProjections.svc/Projections(ProjectionName='PurchaseOrderHandling'”) => works well Postman connection to main API (“…/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/AllProjections.svc/Projections(ProjectionName='PurchaseOrderHandling'”) => failed Worked with Postman: Failed in Boomi: Failed in Postman:  Previously we had an other test environment and we didn’t realize the same issue.  Do you have idea what could be the issue? Thank you very much in advance for all of your thoughts! 

Hi,I'm working on the IFS' service to expose some LU's data to the outside world. For implementation I'm using fragment, projection and utility. Of course - as it is during implementation - there are lots of model changes, utility changes and complications. I've noticed that an ORA-21700 (object does not exist or is marked for delete) error appears quite often when calling the service's function (both from Postman and from the Chrome browser). Sometimes it helps to drop the projection's SVC package and its body and compile it once again. Error occurs even before the function's implementation is called. I've analyzed server's log and in odata POD's log I've found that ORA-21700 occurs when trying to execute following select statement: SELECT PROPOSAL_ID, ENG_ATTRIBUTE, DESCRIPTION FROM TABLE(L_Inv_Part_Cfg_Service_SVC.Rd_Query_Proposal_Characteristic_Additional_Tmplts(?, unbound## => '')) my projection is called LInvPartCfgService and function is defined as follows:function QueryProp

We are looking for the IFS tool that allows us to export all installed BODs (Bills of Delivery) from our actual/production IFS Applications 10 environment, and then import them into a new instance of the same application that we have set up on a VMware machine.Kindly guide us on which specific tool or method should be used for this purpose.

How can I copy a Customer Order to a different site? All parts are setup on both sites. The menu option does not allow a different site, is there any way to copy orders to another site.  

Hello community,I have created a workflow from scratch for importing currency rates from different sources based on the company. This is the workflowWorkflow details I added projection actions to my workflow  When i validate the workflow it works. When I manually use update currency rates button with start now, the rates are created. But scheduled DB task is not creating currency rates although the background job is triggered successfully.Any idea?ThanksFurkan
