Starting IFS Cloud using standard permissions might result in an issue regarding access of certain objects. The log window does not help in this case as it is displaying no information. Only way is to check on the devtools of the browser As the information in the messages does not contain any helpful information. Is there an easier way to trace down issues with permissions while creating complex permission set structures? By now, this is the only known way for me, but it is a lot of investigation and searching for things.Any suggestions on that? Kind regards,Tobias

Dear community!Based on several issues after updates or imports of data or upgrades to another version or somewhere in between you might experience that the background jobs somehow came to a halt. No new jobs are posted even if the schedules are active.That might be due to the fact that the Database Process Batch_SYS.Process_Batch_Schedule_ is missing. It is not very easy to find the proper code to recreate this DB Process. Hi Docman/Migration gurus!This must be a rather commong question: How can we migrate a larger number of documents into IFS docman? In our case we have PDF contacts that we export from Salesforce along with a reference to the Contract object, which we want to migrate into IFS Cloud (on prem) and connect to the relebvant object. The object connection I guess is no big drama, but… how to get the files into IFS?/Tor@Mathias Dahl  I guess you might have some ideas? 

I’m getting the error “Error while serializing contents” when I attempt to create a new Customer address in one of our Remote nonproduction Cloud upgrade environments.I can’t reproduce this in our DEV environment hosted in the Cloud Build Place, built from the Customer Solution repository.Under Address Setup, I changed the CustomerInfoAddress in the Remote environment so no fields were mandatory, so it matches the CBP DEV environment. Hello Community,Is it possible to schedule a FILE_READER or FTP_READER?Normally, the reader consumes the file as soon as it is placed in that directory.I want the reader to consume all the files on a daily basis at a specific time. Hello everyone, I am working in a shipment module but when I was using IFS test and when I go to IFS production the menu option in customer order window is different than IFS test. somebody know how can I turn this  on or what I need to do to have the same menu.  I need create  new shipment, connect to open shipment in IFS production as I have in IFS test. see pictures below, please. 

In IFS Cloud, I added a custom attribute to the CustomerOrder entity to store date/time information. My custom attribute sits next to the standard attribute WantedDeliveryDate on the Customer Order screen.When I enter a value for the standard attribute, it is formatted as: 10/1/22, 10:41 AMWhen I enter a value for my custom attribute, it is formatted as: 2022-10-01T10:41:00ZHow can I get my custom attribute to display date and time in this format: 10/1/22, 10:41 AM?I checked my computer’s regional settings, but since the standard attribute displays correctly, I don’t think regional settings are the issue. Where can I supply a formatting mask for my custom attribute?I checked Page Designer on CustomerOrder but didn’t see a formatting property

Hello, There is a requirement to create a  Payment File and write it to a  SFTP/FTP Location.  As per the format , footer  ( last  Line )   of the file should have 40 spaces . Generated file using standard Method Plsqlap_Server_API.Post_Outbound_Message  , Routing Address , Routing Rules and Connect Sender ( FTP/SFTP) .      Line Breaks and the 40  Spaces  are there in the Application Mesasge  however  there are missing  on the  File  generated in the SFTP/FTP Location.   Used WinSCP/FileZilla  to download file.Could it be “Connect Sender” trimming the spaces and CR+LF at the end if File ? ThanksBhagya

Hello,For one of our customer, very soon we will have to manage Build + Run projects together for sometime. To manage both projects with single Build place is tricky and tiring exercise. Our Customer is on 22R Cloud and are in implementation stage.Raised this below question:“Do you know if we can connect external programs (LabelMatrix) to IFS?  We have a lot of labels created already and just need to know if we can point the existing label connection to IFS.  Currently the label connection points to AX db. Please share some insight on utilizing an external connection for labels.  If anyone come across this situation.

Is it possible, in Aurena, to use your phone’s native camera function to attach pictures as either documents or media attachments? That would be a great way to capture pictures of serial objects, defects found in NCRs, receipts for expenses, etc. I am using UPD6 and when I go to media or attachments my only option is to browse for an existing file.  I’d rather open the camera, snap a picture, and then have that image attach all in one process.

HiI have an issue for one of my customers (running 22R1).  They have a requirement to add a new Custom Entity to the Package Part Structure page for a Sales Quotation.  The problem here is that the Page is using the Entity OrderQuotationLineMaster, but this is not available in the drop down list for the Parent Entity within Entity Associations on the Projection Configuration (QuotePackageStructureHandling): Without this option, I cannot build the association between the 2 objects to be used on the Page.  If I use OrderQuotationLine instead, then the relationship cannot be used on the Package Part Structure Page.  The Navigation Property only exists in the Projection metadata against the Order

When the Finance Users are Invoicing the Customer Orders something in their process is reopening and redelivering the Customer OrderThe Steps they say they follow does not result in this when I am trying to replicate and they are unable to explain why their processing is different to my testing following the same steps. Can anyone advise what process they would need to do to change the CO Status to Delivered after Invoiced? How is a Rental Reopened? This is causing HUGE issues due to Custom Events we have that trigger on CO Status of Delivered so when they carry out these steps the Custom Event is retriggered meaning the Data in the system is incorrectly updated. Thanks, 

Hello,Hoping for some help with an issue one of our users is experiencing. He’s sending a link to a change order by email, the recipient can open the link correctly but when he tries to open it himself (from sent items), Chrome downloads Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application and not IFS. He also has this problem when receiving files from colleagues. k.

in IFS V10 it is possible to view the SQL query. I did not find this feature in IFS cloud

HiI am looking to perform a Work Guideline Sign Off using Novacura Flow whilst having the SHPORD_SUBTASK_SIGNOFF Security Checkpoint Active.If I perform the sign off in the Work Guideline screen, with the debug console on, whilst the Authentication Request window is displayed, there isn’t anything in the PL/SQL details to show a procedure call I can use to get the username and password pushed through, so the Security Checkpoint is passed.Has anyone been able to overcome this issue with Security Checkpoints? I don’t want to go down the route if possible of :-Disable the Security Checkpoint. Create a background job to re-enable the Security Checkpoint if it is disabled. (This caters for when the user doesn’t have the necessary Employee Qualification to sign off the Work Guideline and step 3 fails). Sign Off the Work Guideline.
