RMB menu options question

Is it possible to move a standard IFS menu option from a sub-menu to the top of the main RMB menu?Either by standard IFS functionality or custom field ( UserMethod() ).

IFS10 HttpServer - Error in log file

Hi, In the HttpsServer log file we keep getting these two errors (often many each minute) :(OS 10054)An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.  : ap_get_brigade() didn't read data(OS 10054)An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.  : Error processing websocket connection Any ideas what can cause this? We experience that login can be slow sometimes, and we think that this might be correlated to this issue. We have around 1250 active users (Around 700-800 are active each day). We are currently running upd15 (but this was also a problem for previous updates). This is how our HttpServer config look like:

BPA - Using user interaction workflow in document attachment

Hello,I would like to know if it is possible to use user interaction workflows (BPA) when creating a new document attachment from the “Attachment” group (object connection)?The requirement is to enable the user to enter values, upon documents creation, which will then be fed to the document revision.I am on IFS Cloud 22R1.Thanks in advance.Regards,Asheer

Lobby Element Datasources in IFS Cloud 21R2

Does anyone know if there was a change made from 21R1 to 21R2 in regards to Lobby Element Datasources, and how the system validates the views when creating a new datasource? We have a number of non-standard views that we use to demo, since there are minimal out of the box elements created for the Aviation Maintenance solution at this time. Any datasources that already existed when the environment was migrated continue to work. If I export a datasource from 21R1 and import it into 21R2, it works. If I edit an existing datasource that uses a not-out-of-the-box view, I can click on View Columns, and I get to see all the columns. But, if I try to create a new datasource and use one of those non-standard views, as soon as I take cursor focus off of the view name field, a toast message appears saying the view can't be found, and I cannot proceed.

Login Events screen not logging

IFS Cloud 21R2 version has a Login Events screen, that logs when users logs in to system. This screen is logging data in all environments except one of customer’s use place environments. Is there something that needs to be turned on for this screen to log information?

Cloud NVL function for dates giving error while executing quick report

While using nvl for dates in cloud quick report and if no values given for dates IFS Apps used to fetch the default values provided Whereas in cloud this is not working. It throws the following error. User who tested this has sent the following information“ I wanted to test the quick report today and I receive a Server Error when using the same parameters as in your screenshot. I have also tested it yesterday, then I didn’t receive the Server Error in the morning. In the afternoon I was getting it also.Strange thing is that when I only use the Start_Date or End_Date as parameter the Server Error does not show.”

Some tabs in the "Client" screen are not displayed

Hello,For some of my users, these tabs are not displayed: I know it's a rights issue because by giving them all the rights, there is no more problem.By assigning all the rights on the corresponding presentation objects, the problem is still present.Thanks in advance for your help!

BPA - Using user Tasks

​Hello,After an upgrade in IFS cloud from 21R1 to 22R1, BPA is not working for user task.I tried to use BPA to make a simple popup for yes or no, but the following error is generated. You will find below my workflow design. Do you know if user tasks have been depreciated?Is there a way to add user tasks to workflows in 22R1?Thanks in advance.Regards,Asheer​

Error adding Quick Report to existing App Config Pkg

I’m working with a customer who is on 21.2.9.  I get an error in the Quick Reports screen when I try to add any Quick Report to an already existing Application Configuration Package.  The error is:Database error occurred. Contact administrator.        Url: null        Date = 2022-08-22T12:51:23.418Z        Request Id = null        Client version = 21.2.9.20220602055745.0The error does not occur if I use the “+ Create and Add App Config Package”.The error does not occur if I navigate to the existing Application Configuration Package and use the + button in the Items section to add the report..Is this a known issue with Cloud 21r2 Aurena?

No PDF report returned from Crystal Web Service

Our report server includes print agent, crystal web and BR execution server, and we keep getting issues with our crystal reports in which we are getting the following error in IFS:“No PDF report returned from Crystal Web Service”If I reboot the server we are then able to print crystal reports again. I need to work out why this keeps happening? I have noticed that we had window updates that needed installing, could this cause the issue?Is it also possible to set-up an alert that emails myself when this happens?Thank you.

Second External Search Parameter Doesn't Work.

I am trying to create an external search. The structure of the External Link is straightforward. However, The second search parameter does not work. I could not understand. What am I missing? In the first link, it searches just for BUYER_CODE not search for CURRENCY_CODE. In the second link, it searches just for CURRENCY_CODE not search for BUYER_CODE. Grant Permission by page in Aurena

Hi All, Is it possible to grant/revoke permission by page in Aurena?When we grant a projection to a permission set, lots of pages connected to the projection is available in the navigator. Example scenario:I just want to enable Quick AbsenceIn Aurena go toSolution Manager > Security > Permission Sets > Permission Set > Projections and Lobby Pages → Manage By Navigatorchoose Quick Absence from navigator, Edit projection access for selected pages. In the Manage Projection Grants page, only the projection can be granted. I need to remove the other pages granted along with this but seems it’s not possible. Is there another way to handle this than hiding from navigator?  Cheers!Damith

Document not approved due to certificate error

A document revision is prepared. Once done, the actual document is connected to the IFS administrative part of the document. The document has been checked in. Status is preliminary. Up until now standard behavior. Document that is checked in, can be viewed. The document is stored in a FTP location using standard IFS settings (IFS9).Now that everyonne has seen the document, we want to set the status from Preliminary to Approved. RMB is used to set the status and then the following error message appears:I've used coding to determine the origin and it reveals that in DOC_ISSUE_API for an FTP stored file a check is done on the size of the file via Plsqlap_Server_API. Further into the details the actual error is a certificate problem.The FTP server has no certificates installed.See also:  My question: in the setup of haveing an IFS application server and a FTP server are there anymore servers in between? Why does the system come back with a missing/non valid certificate while there has not

IFS10 UPD 7 Foundation Upgrade to UPD 16

Dears,We have a client on IFS10 UPD7. Can we only upgrade Foundation to UPD16 for the client so he gets latest foundation and middleware application.This will save me from doing complete application upgradePlease suggest Best RegardsPankaj

Security Checkpoint Error in Aurena

Hi,We have created a new security checkpoint in IEE version when a user marks his attendance on a training event it prompts the security checkpoint dialog box to enter his credentials. It prompts in IEE without an issue. However, when marking attendance in Aurena, it prompts below error. Is it because of a permission issue? Any advise please? Also note that standard security check points are already working fine in Aurena for Document approvals, CAPA/NC approvals. Thank you in advance.

Search fields related to my CLU are empty in the search window

Why I cannot see any field in my search window?The active view and the attribute I have selected are both related to Custom Logical Unit. But I have other attributes similar that work well on this custom view, and i don’t see what is special for them in the settings…  For reference, the attribute just above works well with the search window.

Hi, Apps9 had a field pick list to report in the shipment screen which used SHIPMENT_ORDER_LINE_API.GET_LINES_TO_PICK_SHIPMENT(SHIPMENT_ID)We are now using apps10, is there an alternative to this field / API ?

Issue while deploying delivery for manual supplier invoice

Cloud Middle tier error after service update to 22R1

Greetings.I have deployed a service update for 22R1 (22.1.3) from 21R1 in an on-premise location. The Middle tier host is running Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS (GNU/Linux 5.15.0-1017-azure x86_64).There are a couple of PODS that doesn’t start completely, but these are not essential for accessing IFS Cloud. Starting Chrome and entering the URL to the IFS Cloud instance will result in the attached screen.Any suggestions to what is going on?Thanks.

Custom Event Action: Execute Online SQL fails to call API

Within the Contacts grid on the Customer page, I added a Custom Menu option that allows the user to highlight a Contact, RMB click, and select “Push to Salesforce”. This calls an externally hosted REST API that gets the details, does a bunch of backend validation and such, and then pushes the contact to our CRM. Color change in Cloud application 22R1 (theme color)

Hi,Today we can choose two theme colors in Cloud as standard ( dark or light).Is there a possibility of making a change so that we can get the color green? A customer today uses green in a previous application and says it is more pleasing to the eyes, especially when you have poor eyesight. BrLinda
