Hello IFS Community, How do I know the username used to run an IAL?Does IFS have a place where I could see the prefixes? I am trying to run the query the following way select * from &IAL.PART_COST2 (According to different posts I have read in the community) I need to add the prefix &IAL.A pop-up window shows up asking for the value of IAL, and I input my AO, then the result is table or view does not exist. Fyi. The IAL was created correctly (See fig ). However, I do not know if I enter the correct username for IAL.

IFS Connect - File Reader; Reading Frequency

When I used the IFS_XML_TO_JSON transformer, try to transform unknown XML to JSON, I can’t get the simple JSON like the Document’s Sample.Configure the REST Transport Connector (ifs.com)but like that with a header, what should I do, Thank you!

Apps9 Save search in context, how to share or export

All,I am trying to write documentation for others to follow a process for tax. I search on the page which has a header and body of table (like inventory part availability planning screen below), I then use a save search in context in the table below the header. This search is what I need others to have, is there a way of sharing it? I’ve tried the share with colleagues but its not available as you can see in the screen shot below.Any ideas very much appreciated

Inbound Customer Orders not Accepted

We have been testing EDI 850’s and in our DEV environment, the 850’s flow correctly through to IFS Incoming Customer Orders, however after setting up another environment, TEST, the orders are only getting so far- not showing up in Incoming Customer Orders Window.**In our Dev system, the State is Accepted**In our Test system, the State is Posted I also noticed that these Database Processes are not in the TEST system, but are in the DEV Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Active Directory Event Logs

Hi All, This is a slight tweak on an oft asked question - I’m aware we can no longer get Log-On data in Apps 9 post upgrade to 19C Database.We have been asked to supply auditable log-on / log-off data, including Machine name. Thinking of using Active Directory (AD) Logs - but having done some testing, we can not find an appropriate entry. Has anyone done this before? Our AD is on-prem. Looking to upgrade to IFS Cloud in the next 12-15 months - so if there are experiences of that then I’d be interested as well. Thanks in advance,Matthew

Context (scope)

Hi All,question regarding Aurena contexts (scope). Just wanted to check if anyone has a workaround? requirement: Some users must not see some fields on the Customer Order page. Customer Order page is customised in Scope A (some fields hidden) and in Scope B (some other fields are hidden)Is there a way to prevent User A accessing the page in scope B and User B accessing scope A.if they know the url then there is no way to prevent that, am I correct? Also prevent both of them accessing the global context for Customer Order page? that does not sound right though as everything comes from the global context. TIA,Rajith De Silva

ModifyAvailabilityControl Post Action

Can someone assist me? Trying to Create a webservice call to update the AvailabilityControl but I want to only modify it for a particular Contract, Part, location, and batch. Print to Local Print with Aurena

Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to print to a local printer from IFS Aurena and APPS 10. When I try to print from Aurena and choose the printer dropdown I can only see printers setup in IFS. None of my local printers are available in the dropdown. However, when I try the same process in IEE my local printers are available as well as the printers installed in IFS. Probably an easy answer I should know but can anyone help provide an answer please? Best Regards.

IFS App10 IEE ADFS login fails when UPN is in mixed case

We have users in active directory who have their UPN in camel case. ADFS login for IFS doesn’t work for these users.We see that directory ID in User should be the upn but it is forced to uppercase in IFS. for example:active directory UserPrincipleName : userName@domain.comin IFS directory ID: USERNAME@DOMAIN.COM our observation is that users with UPN in all lowercase in active directory can login without an issue. Does IFS not support UPNs in mixed case? any way to transform it in IFS so this doesn’t become a problem when authenticating and not satisfying the Claim Rule Set?

Print Agent - Prints same report designer document over and over

Hello all,We have an issue with the print agent I was hoping someone could help with. We are on IFS 9, UPD17. For some reason, a print job that seems to print properly, is hours later, being reprinted by the print agent. When I check the IFS related logs, no errors are showing and there is a single print job in the print manager and PDF archive. The agent will continue to print this job over and over unless it is restarted. Any ideas? Thanks,Rich

Hello IFS Community, I am trying to create a custom “Reference Field”.When I try to “Published” the following error window pop up.Any idea how could I fix the Error Details -4063 in \CUSTOM FIELD CODE\MRB_HEAD_CFV.VIEW\VIEW_CODE ? btw, We are in IFS 9. New Projection Search options missing

Mulitselection in Multilov dialog

Hi, Does anyone know about how to enable multi selection in this dialog box which came from the multilov field property? multilov field. Dialog opens when clicking the multilov icon. The customer is requesting a checkbox option in this list view. Otherwise, they have to select a value one by one. Thanks.

I have custom command navigation link what works ok.It is in product structure / multilevel. I want to open selected line product structure, but I want it to new browser tab or window. Aurena - Merge deployment

Is there a tool or option to merge ACP deployment items in Aurena without overwriting existing modifications in IFS Aurena? For example, I have a instance of IFS Aurena where multiple changes and additions have been made; I would like to deploy a new set of ACPs but don’t want to overwrite the existing changes. I am looking to merge them together similar to IEE without overwriting. What I found was that every time I deploy to Aurena the existing modifications get’s overwritten. I tried using a different Context but that also get’s overwritten.

Hello Community!While, looking over “Object Connections”, I noticed two similar entries, always on the same line with each other. ….EcoObjectConn^ & EcoActionObjectConn^…. HELP mentions only EcoActionObjectConn^ in the Service List.is EcoObjectConn^ a leftover from a previous IFS version? can I remove EcoObjectConn^ from each without impact?Been messing with IFS since Ver. 2004 but can’t tease out any memories…Cheers
