Hi community,
I’m new to IFS and I’m wondering if there is a way to perform a kind of subscription for REST call from IFS Explorer or IFS Aurena.
Basically what I’m trying to achieve now, is a simple task. Let’s say you have a “Purchase Order” and you want to get a kind of notification outside the IFS ecosystem when its status change from e.g. “Planned” to “Released”. To perform this task I need IFS to perform a REST call outside to another service that will receive the information and perform some additional operation.
I read many topics but couldn’t find a way to do that for now. I also found that in IFS Explorer you can subscribe to event only for e-mail.
I’m not sure how to do that. Do I need to write kind of batch or task in PL/SQL that will perform the REST call to outside and tie it to a custom event?
Can someone provide at high level steps need to be done just to know how to move and how this this kind of operation could be performed.
Does anyone had the same problem?
