Issues when Install IFS Cloud environment

There are some pending states containers when I installed a IFS Cloud environment from begining in a new server. All the processes have finished but can not access it successfully for the above reason I think. Customers info xml to sFTP location

We are integrating with a supplier using EDI and have setup the transfer of incoming customer orders and purchase invoices during setup and testing.There is a need to send the supplier our customer delivery address information so they can reference this on their orders, as they are delivering to our customers using supply code ‘Purch Ord Direct’.  This process should be scheduled daily to allow them to keep their records up-to-date as new customers are added.I have so far been able to create a quick report to get the required information and been able to schedule the quick report to send the data via e-mail. Does anyone know if there is a way for us to schedule the output in csv or xml format for IFS connect to send the file into a sFTP location?We are on IFS10 UPD16. ThanksDarren

How to check if a variable is passed into a workflow?

Hello, I have encountered a pretty odd scenario. I have a workflow that automatically populates the market value when a customer order is newly created. There are two ways to create a customer order, either you create a new customer order from the customer order screen, or you create a customer order from a sales quotation.  Sadly, I can only get one of these scenarios to work at a single time. I’ve created a custom event and action to handle when a customer order is created from a sales quotation. This event uses the variables from a table, which are formatted as ORDER_NO, CUSTOMER_NO, etc. The one issue with this, is that when I try to create a customer order from the customer order screen, I get an error saying “Error occurred while processing the request: Unknown property used in expression: ${ORDER_NO}. Cause: Cannot resolve Identifier ‘ORDER_NO’This happens because the process to create a customer order on the customer order screen uses the variable ‘OrderNo’ not ‘ORDER_NO’. The

Object connection for new customized entity in Developer Studio

Hi,We have developed a simple entity with associated projection and client page as part of a Customization (extend on the inside) using IFS Developer Studio.  This all works fine but we want to be able to attach media items to these entities.I have added the objectConnections to the entity model and redeployed it but I can't configure the connection itself in the 'Object Connections' as described inhttps://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r2/040_tailoring/225_configuration/900_object_connections/#technical_notes The OK button does not appear when I select the entity, the relevant services and the API.Have I missed something which needs doing?  I have refreshed the Object Objection Cache.  The objectConnections were added to the entity model after the entity had been initially deployed although it was then redeployed, is that why it can't be configured?We're using IFS Cloud 22R2.Many thanks!

Limit on application message queues?

We are setting up custom IFS Connect queues in our project, and are wondering if there is a recommended limit of queues to add. WHat potential issues can we run into if we add too many new ifs connect queues?This is an 21R2 project. Soon to upgrade to 22R2 or 23R1.

Edit custom menus/navigation links in Aurena (app10 upd15)

HiWe have several external navigation links in out application.Most of these point to REST calls.From time to time we need to change data that is sent, the URL or simple things like just the namn that's displayed in the application.Is there away to do this or do anyone know what table it is saved in the database.Thank you.

How to handle Customer Order Creation workflow issue

Hello, I currently have some process enrichment workflows that get triggered when a customer order is created. One big issue is that these workflows work fine except when someone is converting a sales quotation into a customer order. When the workflow gets triggered, it throws an OData error and only sometimes creates the customer order from the sales quotation. Error occurred while processing the request: Unknown property used in expression: ${OrderNo}. Cause: Cannot resolve identifier 'OrderNo'OData Request ID: N/A---------------------------------------------------------------------------CreateOrderFromQuotation/Assistant (server error)Error details: N/ARequest Id: N/AUrl: N/A--------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have the workflow timing set to after, but the error still persists. This happens on any workflow that gets triggered off of the creation of a customer order. How do I go about fixing this? Any and all input would be appreciated. Thank

Is there a way to check logs to see who turned on or off database tasks or schedules?

Hello, We’d like to monitor who is turning scheduled database tasks on or off, but I’m not aware of any place this can be see from. We see in the background jobs of these tasks that the database task schedules are being turned off, and we’d like to see which user is doing so. Thanks,Bryan

Middleware SSL works on hostname, not on FQDN

Hi,I have an apps 10 server which we have installed new SSL certs on - these contain the normal host name eg. server1, and the fully qualified name e.g. server1.example.com.  We can access IFS middleware using the host name (server1) but not the fully qualified name (server1.example.com), we insted get a “Forbidden” warning.  Where is this controlled in the ifs mw configuration, and how to I get IFS to answer to both?

Custom Field Not Pulling Through

Hello! I have created a custom field for a logical unit, however when I approve and publish it does not appear on the page:   I have tried “Reload Configuration” multiple times to no avail and I’m not sure where to go from here. The page properties does allow for CLU’s and when I check the DB I can see the new CF as well as in the logical unit:   Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Chloe

Excluding UserGroup in Context Configuration

I’m trying to set up a context configuration for a customer on Usergroup level. The customer have a Global context, a Default context bases on company that differs from the global context and now they want a new context for some forms for B2B Customer bases on Usergroups. These B2B Customers exits on the same company as users using default context. There for I need to exclude the B2B Customer user group B2BKund from the default context (AND USERGROUP != B2BKund. When doing that the default context is bay passed and the globel context is being displayed instead. Is there a way to deal with this problem?

Set default value in dialog box for print of labels from custom menu

HiWe’re currently on APP10 UPD14. In some scenarios we would like to print Shipment Handling Unit Label from ‘Handling Unit’ menu due to large shipments with serial number parts. We have made some adjustments to the Shipment Handling Unit Label. It is possible to print the correct layout from ‘Handling Unit’ menu. However, we need to fill in some information manually → this is static and should always be the same. Does anybody know if it’s possible to set a default value in a pop up dialog box so it’s always ‘FALSE’. See below:In field Shpmnt Delivered we need to fill in ‘FALSE’. Otherwise, it’s printed with wrong layout.   Is it possible to set a default value in the dialog box so it’s always ‘FALSE’?  Let me know if anything need to be elaborated. Cheers!!

Email notification from IFS Lifecycle Experience

In some cases, it would be helpful to receive an automatic email reminder when an environment you created is about to expire. For example if a Delivery environment was created but not promtly approved, the notification can say something like “Please note that Delivery environment X will be deleted in 3 days and it hasn’t been approved yet. Please approve the delivery or extend the expiration date”.The email could go directly to the email address given by the person who created the environment, and would likely need to include an opt-out link (or the ability to add one through a configuration setting).

IEE is slow since IFS10Update16

After logging in, the operation is so slow that it is difficult to select  windows from the navigator.After displaying the execute report  windows, the movement is better.The OS that causes the problem is Windows 10.Anyone able to share this issue?

Setting Up NovaCura and IFS with Public OAuth clients

We’re working through an IFS implementation and we’re having trouble getting NovaCura and IFS to authenticate users correctly.We have IFS Cloud 22.1.5 on premise, using ADFS as our OpenId External Identity provider.NovaCura is using the same ADFS instance as its External Identity provider.We are trying to setup IFS and NovaCura so that users can authenticate from NovaCura to their IFS accounts and do their warehouse flows as their user in IFS from within the NovaCura flow mobile app. We have the additional challenge that the mobile devices we use for NovaCura are shared devices.We setup a public client for the NovaCura IFS connector. And to some extent it’s working! But now we have a new issue.Consider the following scenario:Alice picks up the warehouse device Alice logs into Novacura Alice starts an IFS warehouse flow Alice gets prompted for her IFS credentials. The actions that Alice does are done by Alice’s account in IFS. Alice is done for the day and logs out of Novacura. Bob pick

Confirmation of Customer Order report is failing

We recently upgraded our production IFS from App10 UPD5 to UPD15. How to automatically close a Business Opportunity when expiration date gets hit

Hello, I am attempting to have Business Opportunities automatically close when it passes their expiration date. I have used workflows and scheduled database tasks before, but there does not seem to be a way to create a database task to schedule it to run every day to check for expired Business Opportunities, and there does not seem to be a way to schedule a workflow to run every day. I’m not aware of any projection actions or event actions that get run every day.What can I use to achieve what I’m looking for? Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Is it possible to use FND_WORKFLOW_CONNECTION_API.START_WORKFLOW to trigger a workflow?

Hello, I am attempting to trigger a workflow via a database task, so that I can schedule the database task to run daily. My end goal is to have a workflow that gets triggered every day. It does not need parameters.Is this possible with FND_WORKFLOW_CONNECTION_API.START_WORKFLOW? I am creating a database task to use this method. I am not sure what it’s asking for, for its parameters. How to execute a workflow via a database task?

Hello,I’ve been looking for so many ways to execute a workflow on a daily schedule for IFS Cloud. There have been some IFS Employees that have mentioned that they don’t know how to, but I still want to believe there is a way to do this. I am trying to close expired Business Opportunities and Sales Quotations by running a workflow I built. I also would like to send an email out when Sales Quotations and Business Opportunities are 7, 5, or 3 days away from expiring.Is there any way to accomplish this? It seems like IFS Cloud is so limited in what you can do. In Apps10 you had some workarounds for accomplishing this but it seems like there is no way to do this in IFS Cloud. Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

mWO Page Designer Content missing

I have done some changes to the list of my work for mWO in the past. I made the changes in the context global (understood: discussable). Now I want to make another change and there is no content available:Three dots below Content show the Order by option, which has a grey > sign which means nothing there as well.I do have a page configuration that is published: I see the work done, in the past, in mWO. If I unpublish the global context I see the standard overview in mWO on the MyWork page.Anyone an idea why I don't see any content?
