If I’m understanding the documentation correctly, it sounds like I should be able to store our Crystal Reports RPT files in either OpenReportPath or in the database. However, when I try to create a quick report definition in 22R2, it won’t let me save unless I supply it with a layout file right then and there.
Does this mean I can no longer store RPT files in our Crystal server’s OpenReportPath? Do I have to move these to the database?
