Forum FAQs & Help

We have a requirement where two fields (emp_id and user_id) need to be visible/ not visible depending on the current company selected. Using the page designer we have tried to implement the condition as seen in below screenshots: OR We have tried the same with attribute Visible but the end result in all cases is that if there is any value other than ‘true’ in the ‘Column Visible’ field, it results in the both user_id and emp_id becoming invisible, irrespective of the current value of the field CompanyId.Any suggestions on further steps/ actions needed to make this work would be greatly appreciated. Current version IFS Cloud 24R2

Read in few other forums that report designer will be replaced by Report Studio. Is that true and is there any time frame on it?

Dear Community,We have found that the Heavy & Light Cleanup Database Tasks are not behaving as expected in IFS Cloud. An example we have is the clearing of history logs. We have had to manually remove a large number of history logs which should have been cleared by the cleanup jobs. The Database tasks are active and running daily, yet the logs are still there. We have remedied this by creating a Database Task Chain Schedule for both Heavy and Light cleanup tasks. But we need to understand why the cleanup jobs are not working. We have enabled the automatic cleanup for the history logs to be deleted as well however when we query those tables we see lots of data coming wich should have been deleted by now.For example when we query a certain table lots of data keeps fetching and the number of days we have given to store these data within IFS in history log configuration window was just 1 day.Further we noticed that both heavy and light cleanup jobs gets completed within less than 3s and th

Dear Community, Is there a  way to determine whether the values from Supplier for Purchase Part can be properly reflected in Inventory Part Availability Planning? In the screenshots attached below, we expect the Min Order Qty to be displayed correctly under the Planning Info section:Appreciate your guidance on this.Thank you

Hello IFS, The IFS Partner SharePoint page that contains IFS Cloud-related information has become inaccessible again.I previously reported this issue through a ticket in the Partner Portal, and access was restored. However, as of today, the page is no longer accessible once again. The information about this page can be found at the link below.  If this page has been replaced or moved due to a policy change, I would greatly appreciate it if partners could be informed in advance and provided with the replacement location. We rely on this page on a daily basis to carry out our work, so the lack of access has a significant impact.Thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to your update.Kind regards,Amila Fernando

Hello IFS User Community,I am a member of an IFS Implementation project team, located in the UK, currently gearing up for our UK go-live.Following the UK go-live, the implementation project team then move onwards to our global IFS roll-out, implementing IFS across my organisation, with next step being IFS implementation across Australia and Singapore. In preparation for the implementation of IFS in the APAC region, are there any APAC-based IFS users on this User Community ? My intent of this question is simply to extend my working knowledge of global companies / organisations currently using IFS (outside of my current, albeit limited, knowledge of the UK IFS user base).Very many thanks in advance.

Add as many details asI would like to add hours to an activity for monitoring purposes, but I cannot use the Time Registration module. When I add hours directly to the activity, the hours do not appear in the Activity Monitoring section.Could you help me understand the correct process for recording hours on an activity, monitoring the actual hours used, and evaluating the associated costs without using the Time Registration module?I would also like to know whether additional configuration is required to make the entered hours visible in Activity Monitoring.possible, by providing details you’ll make it easier for others to reply

I added the Command Group – ExecuteOperationalReport to the Shop Orders Material Availability page so that I could execute the Shop Order Report directly from this page, and it works as expected. However, the issue is that this option disappears when I select multiple reports. How can I enable the multi-selection functionality?I’ve already tried adding expressions and conditions in the Enables field, but that doesn’t seem to have any effect. Has anyone encountered a similar issue?

Can anyone recommend best practices for splitting and rescheduling customer order lines in IFSCloud so that I can clearly see the tie between old and new lines? As an example, I have a customer who sends in an order for 200 pieces of part ABC on 01Jan2026, with a wanted delivery date of 15Oct2026.   My company acknowledges the order and begins working towards scheduling/fulfillment.It becomes evident that my customer wants parts sooner and I determine that I can deliver 25 pieces on 01Jun2026, and 7 on 15Jun2026.    Rather than doing a partial delivery,   we create two new releases on the same line number, one for 25 pieces and one for 7, while reducing the qty on the original line by 32 pieces down from 200 to 168.   In the meantime, the customer indicates that in addition to the 200 pieces, they would like 100 additional pieces, which we add in as the same line item but another release.  Sorting out what is a “rescheduled” qty directly from each line and what is new is difficult throu

Hello all, This is Chikako Yoshimura who is working as CSM in Japan Region.I am raising queries on behalf of customer. I would appreciate it if you could answer as soonas you can.The below is customer message.---------------------We are planning to conduct an assessment for the release update to the latest version (26R1).In June, we are planning to perform not only the Impact Assessment but also the Release Update Assessment. My understanding is that executing RequestReleaseUpdate will create a new version repository (?) in Build Place, and I would like to confirm the following two points: Is it correct to understand that the current version environment (24R2) will not be affected until CreateDelivery is executed? Is it possible to change the target update version after completing the Release Update Assessment? ---------------------Thank you.Chikako Yoshimura

Has anyone successfully implemented a digital signature on the last page of a dynamically paginated report using only Report Rules in IFS Apps 10?

Hi all,In september 2026, E-invoicing & E-reporting will be mandatory in France. We were able to obtain  the list of fields that will be mandatory from September 2026.I understand that the UBL file will include the mandatory fields requested by the administration, but some clients require mandatory information to be sent to them (particularly large retailers). Is it easy to add new fields in IFS CLOUD 25R2? Roughly speaking, how complex is it to add custom fields to our UBL export? Regards, Soumia

We would like to integrate data via API for the following items on the IFS Cloud interface, but according to the support response, a standard API is not available. Does anyone know how to integrate data via API? - Labor Setup Time to Report field in Manufacturing＞＞Shop Order＞＞Report Operation＞＞Shop Order Operations Reporting- Qty to Receive and Location fields in Receive Shop Order

The report shows an error after I click the preview button multiple times in succession(If the clicks are not consecutive, no error occurs.), but it returns to normal after some time passes. How to check and fix the issue.

Hi everyone, Following issue has been reported by multiple users: If you work with a list in IFS Cloud (25 R1), users use to order the sequence of lines according their need. For instance, in view Customer Order Lines, lines are ordered based on ascending creation date:  If you then open the detailed view of a customer order and afterwards get back to your list, the previous set line order has been deleted and shows the standard list view sequence:  In IFS10, the self defined line sequence was kept on hold after opening the detailed view. Any idea?  Daniel

Hello, We are using the IFS 9.4 application. A specific email service provider is configured within the application for email services. Since this service provider has upgraded the TLS version to 1.2, we have started experiencing connection issues in our system. Has anyone encountered a similar situation or can offer a solution? I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue. Best regards.

Hi,Did any of you face the below situation? In APPS10, we have an Order Report that uses a Crystal layout instead of rdl. When I print it from the application, it gets printed with the values but when I do the same from the backend using script or from an event, it is printing the layout structure without values in it. This is the code I am using: DECLARE   in_msg_           VARCHAR2(32000);   event_            VARCHAR2(50);   report_attr_      VARCHAR2(32000);   message_attr_     VARCHAR2(32000);   parameter_attr_   VARCHAR2(32000);   archiving_attr_   VARCHAR2(32000);   report_id_        VARCHAR2(50);   mail_             VARCHAR2(100);   wo_no_             NUMBER;   fnd_user_         VARCHAR2(30)         := Fnd_Session_API.Get_Fnd_User;   field_separator_  CONSTANT VARCHAR2(1) := Client_SYS.field_separator_;BEGIN   event_     := 'XYZ';   report_id_ := 'ACTIVE_SEP_WO_PRINT_REP';   Client_SYS.Clear_Attr(report_attr_);   Client_SYS.Clear_Attr(parameter_attr_);   Client_SYS.Add_To_Attr('W

HI All, we are using IFS Assyst and have discovered by chance the use of operators to enhance the Assyst Search function. e.g. as follows: ASSYST SEARCH OPERATORSstring - A Simple string to search and match (e.g. hello)OR - Logical operator to concatenate strings to search for (e.g. hello OR helo)! - Logical operator to negate a search string (e.g. hello OR helo !ciao) My question is, does anyone know what the allowed combination of logical search operators are and what is the deal with the date restriction in this search feature. I tried searching for a string which I knew had tickets from 2024/25 in but I only saw results from this current year 2026. All help welcome as I was not able to find a decent article which matched my experience so far.
