Hi!
I'm trying to contribute more actively to the IFS Community by answering questions related to the IFS products we use. However, I find it difficult to locate unanswered questions that are relevant to the specific sub-forums or community categories we have experience with. I often spend a lot of time scrolling past irrelevant questions, as some product areas have vastly more questions than others, and therse hide the ones where I can help.
For example, the Unanswered Questions page currently shows 22 pages of questions across the entire community. However, IFS Assyst only makes up a small fraction of these, so finding unanswered (or answered) questions from smaller Community Categories or sub-forums, such as assyst-general, assyst-integrations, etc, is almost impossible. This is especially frustrating because these are the only areas where we might have the capacity to provide insight or where we might encounter similar questions ourselves. The overwhelming volume of unrelated posts acts as a barrier to collaboration and makes it harder to share relevant experience or contribute to common issues.
I’ve tried to look for methods to filter, or reduce these irrelevant questions, however I’ve been unable to find any effective way to get more relevant information. For instance there does not seem to be any endpoints like https://community.ifs.com/ifs-assyst-328/activity/unanswered, for more category specific unanswered questions, and there does not seem to be any seach parameter in search for searching for questions based on answered status.

With this in mind is are there ways to:
- Filter unanswered questions by Community Category or sub-forum using the unanswered url endpoint?
- Such as if there is an URL parameter to only return some answeres in the unanswered endpoint?
- Apply filters in search (where category and sub forum is filterable) to furhter narrow down by questions with answered or un answered status?
If this isn’t currently possible, is it something that could be added to the community platform, and where would such community specific enhancement be raised as an idea?
Additionally, is it possible to sort questions by:
- Time since last update by the original poster?
- Whether the response is from an IFS Employee (based on Member Type)?
This would make it much easier to find questions we can actually help answer, without having to scroll through posts on products we don’t use and can’t provide any help with.
Thanks in advance!
