Field Service Management (FSM) & Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO)

Is there a way for a user to toggle different activity types on and off depending on the types of work they are looking to actively schedule, within the mapping screen of PSO?  

I want to filter work task using resource ID but can not find any field parameter that can do that .Attached is the screenshot

I'm using IFS FSM 6 smart client. I'm not able to add navigation for particular task ID from List view of Lobby.Suppose we have tasks having Task IDs 1,2,3,4,5 etc. on List view of lobby. When I will click on task id 4.. it should open the task having task id 4 in task screen.How I can configure it??

In the request management, I added 3 services (request scope) in 1 request and added few tasks. I finished all the tasks. Now I am expecting my request to be completed. I was able to close 2 scopes but the middle one--I am not seeing Close option, it just has Cancel option. I am not sure then how to complete/close my request. The request status is Started as of now.

Hi All,Facing an issue with  “activity availabilities” in dataset. In my data load  All activates have one month SLA period ex:01-11-2022 /30-11-22.It suppose to  show availability of the activities for  whole month However in my case it was  created for only one day (the date which I load the data to PSO) and start base “true” for all activities .Could please  any one help me on this why it was created availabilities only for one day ?   Thanks,Durga.

I connected to the sandbox environment db & got to know few tables/queries that fetch me data for service requests/customer info etc. I assume table names will be same in all environments. In another environment, where I have test data, I am trying to fetch quick reports from those tables. It seems like it finds the table & column names but does not bring the data & shows error. Can anyone guide? BTW, I have permissions to run reports as I am able to create & view some other reports. We have a requirement where we would need to generate PM tasks from contract (Monthly). After PM Generation, FSM creates  requests and tasks for the same for the entire year month by month. However, future PM tasks also get allocated immediately in PSO. How do we avoid this? Appreciate your responses. 

Where do I get the detailed overview about IFS Assist tool?  How it works? Is it a tool is compatible with IFS FSM? If yes, how to integrate IFS Assist with IFS FSM? Is there any user guide for IFS Assist tool?

Hi Team , One of our customer reported an issue saying stock changes randomly in stocks and task screen Initially it was 104, then after two minutes it is  40 then after few minutes its 86 after three to four minutes it is back to 104base line sync ruleI checked the server logs when it is replicating couldn’t find any obvious behaviors Customer also having similar query in sync rule but their frequency is 1 instead of 24 and they mentioned that sync rule is executing every 1 hour can anyone please suggest me an idea how to identify the root cause Regards Shobana

I’m trying to create a complex sort based on values in the JobList. I need to access the current values from some of the fields on the list. I thought getCurrentListRowControlValue would get me access but I am getting “Exception: currentListRowContainer object cannot be null.”Is there a function that can get me access to the current row within a Sort script on mobile?  Not sure if this is even possible, but without it I’m not sure how scripts would be used for sorting on mobile.

The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout. ---> System.Net.WebException: The operation has timed out   at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() app param INTEGRATION_MESSAGE_EXECUTION_TIMER_INTERVAL is set to 60, would setting this application parameter to longer than an hour resolve this exception? Could restarting INTEGRATION CACHE solve the problem?Could restarting the ODATA IIS app pool solve the problem?Could rebooting the server solve the problem?

I wanna cancel a work assignment inside a work task as I am unable to close it, but when I hit cancel, it asks for cancellation cause. The only place where I could find cancellation cause is below, but it does not reflect in assignment screenso please tell how to cancel a work assignment.. When I am trying to cancel the work task, it shows the same screen asking for cancellation cause but no cause is autopopulated in dropdownso basically i want to know how can I delete or cancel a work task?

HelloCan I ask for help in solving the problem. I have installed PSO but I am having trouble logging into IFS PSO Workbench. What user can log in there? is there a database user or a local one? where to get login details?I tried on users (which you can actually log into the database from SQL Developer)IFSSCHEDSIM, IFSSCHED,IFSSCHEDSYS,IFSSCHEDARCH. 

Hello everyone, I am currently working on the FSM and PSO Integration and have the issue that no resources are shown in PSO. I followed the guide with the setup: Dataset, Teams, Rota, then send it over to PSO (in Integration Schedule + Setup to send timeplan every 2 min). Then everything was prepared in PSO with the ROTA and with Shifts. Afterwards, creating the person with resources and work from and also sended it over to PSO (Scheduling Manager). Back to PSO, looked into the Resource Planner and only could find a few of the teams I wanted to send there. I checked the Event tab, but couldn´t find anything that would help me:   In other posts there were the suggestions to delete some line of the table THREESIXTY_RESOURCE and THREESIXTY_RAM_LOAD_HISTORY, but i couldn´t find the in our FSM environment.Thanks everyone who is trying to help!

Hi, I was trying to add Competencies in the Dispatch ConsoleBut the persons I created under “Application base setup-->enterprise” are not visible here, so unable to add any competency/certificate. Any guidance will be really helpful.  ThanksMani Shankar

In work task reporting in service management module, user cant fill the hours in future date which is understood but when I am going to resource analysis, it is showing the calendar from future date only, why? I wanna see how many hrs are logged by resource in the past. 

Hi All,I have loaded a dataset from  FSM to  PSO through schedule manager the load process was completed in FSM  but when i see in pso status of the dataset was deleting.could anyone  please help me why the status was appearing deleting instead of running?and dataset contains only 5k records no error in events related to the dataset. 

Hi Experts,One of our customers have the authentication set up to allow both FSM and OIDC. The app param FSM_AUTHENTICATION_METHODS is set to OIDC, FSM.The users belonging to their organization login with SSO whereas subcontractors login with username and password (fsm auth). Recently they ran into the issue of the mobile not synching with the server when the password was expired for the person , despite the user (belonging to the same organization in this case) having logged in successfully via SSO.So the query was raised whether it’s possible to disregard the password expiry for the users who have SSO enabled. Or whether it was possible to enable only SSO on a user by user basis (i.e not even show the fsm login option). I couldn’t find a way to configure the above, and hence would appreciate if any of you could shed some light on this.

I have created resources and have checked the scheduling option in person screen. I have added the resource to respective team and can also see the concerned resource_id in the resource screen in FSM. I have also enabled App Param EXPORT TASK TEAMS with the concerned team_id but i am not able to push resources to PSO. I can see the places and tasks created in FSM being pushed to PSO but not resources.I have checked with the below mentioned query in SQL and i am able to get the resource id of the resource I had created in FSMselect * from THREESIXTY_RAM_LOAD_HISTORY order by loaded_dttm descCan anyone suggest what further changes/configurations do I have to make to push resources from FSM to PSO?

Hello Everyone, reaching out to see if any one has guidance or recommendations to address a few requirements for a Customer; please see below. From what we know,  these are not available OOTB. However, if anyone happens to have any insight or approaches on trying to tackle these 3 that would be greatly appreciated:Requirements:Ability for user to enter window start (and/or window end) before initial screen (*Achieved by using task’s earliest_start_dttm and latest_start_dttm) Ability to display first available if no slots are available within selected window start + window end (opposed to having to click next button each time) Collect first available date as data point (on apt booking response from IFS PSO)
