FSM - Field values in custom debrief screens

Hello all!! Regarding the workflow, when we assign a task in the technician in the back office, in the DebriefOverview (OOTB screen) the ‘task_type’ field is shown with its value. (as shown below)But in the custom screen DebriefRPMInterface the task type value is not shown. The properties of the task_type are the same in both screens. We know that we should create a script for the ‘where clause’ section in order to sync the screens with the task id, but we are not sure about the exactly script structure. Thank you in advance!

Identifying which server is responding to a specific user in a multiple server configuration

We have deployed a dual server configuration running FSM 6U6. The servers are mirrored and running the Application server and the Mobile Server. The load balancing is done with F5 and sticky sessions with a 50:50 split.Q: is there a view, report, log or method to determine which server is responding to which user?

FSM schema export and import backup restoration in oracle?

Hi,If i have taken the expdp backup of FSM schema from one database (ex:dev) in oracle and import the same FSM schema in another database (ex: Test ) in oracle and configure only the application in Test environment. All the configuration, code, data will be available in the Test environment.Kindly Confirm whether the above process work.

PASSWORD_STRETCH

Does any one know of any issues with using the password_stretch app param in FSM 6 update 6 and mobile? I have had an email from a customer asking this as when they have set the app param to 1 then mobile fails to activate and the mobile person_id gets locked out. They are not using SSO and mobile is running on iOS. I have seen a number of previous cases around this topic but they don’t seem to match exactly.

Smart Client installation for CITRIX profile

Dear all,currently we are facing 2 issues when installing FSM on a CITRIX profile.1.) The user always has to install FSM via the exe file every day. After that the user can use FSM.2.) But it seems that the app param cache is still not refreshed. It always retrieves old app param settingsIs there anything special to consider when installing on a Citrix profile? regards,Thomas

IFS App - Device storage access permission concern(FMEs)

Hi All, When allowing “Files and Media” permissions to FSM 6.12 android mobile application a message is appearing on the screen stating that "The app may access files without asking you" which is causing a security concerns now for the Field Technician who are using android mobile phones. Please help us resolving this issue as we are getting customer escalations and Field Technicians are uninstalling the app which is affecting day-to-day business activities.Thanks,Varun

Appointment Booking Accept SLA

Hi all community, I am using a solution with FSM and PSO and the Appointment Booking REST APIs.When a slot is accepted by the end user, the system changes the time commit directly to PRIMARY.I’ve checked and i didn’t found the corresponding configuration that is setting this.Could you please help me to identify the configuration that controls the SLA when the consumer accepts the slot through the REST API? iOS: Objective-C - having trouble previewing attachment files (QLPreviewController, UIDocumentInteractionController, and UIWebView.)

I am trying to preview an attachment (word, doc, or pdf) in a view controller. When a place attachment is selected, PlaceAttachment_ViewController should be called and display/preview the selected place attachment. This is working on iPhone 11 and 13 but not iPhone 7 or 8, running iOS 15.5. I have tried using the following approaches to preview an attachment file: QLPreviewController, UIDocumentInteractionController, and UIWebView. Mobile Application Login Issue

Hi,I have installed Mobile Application on my office laptop after doing all the required system related prerequisites changes like certificate installation, Enabling Developer Mode in system settings etc.I am able to install Mobile application successfully. But while logging into mobile application I am getting below error.Error: A116: Invalid User Name/Password pair. Please try again.I have already checked the Person records prerequisites setting. all the required fields for Person like Employee, Mobile Users, Person to Place relations , Password Expire, Active etc. looks fine. Update Task Plan Dates on PSO Allocation.

Hi,We are having some problems updating the task plan dates (PLAN_START_DTTM and PLAN_END_DTTM) when PSO automatically schedule a task to allocated status.When PSO updates automatically, the FSM dates are not updated. When the allocation is done manually in the PSO, the dates are updated but the scheduling status remains unallocate (update with value 0) instead of allocated (update with value 10).ThanksPedro

FSM Custom Attachment Tab Browse Popup

Hi All,We are trying to create an custom attachment table and map the same in the screen.Like Task_steps_attachment, we have created a attachment tab in task screen and map with our custom table, we are trying to config a browse window when we click on attachment_path lookup as below,we have followed the same process like how baseline configured in task_steps_attachment with attachment_alias [we configured with custom_table and with c_attachment_alias], but we are getting an normal lookup instead of Browse window.could anyone please advice how we can achieve this on configuration or do we need custom code for this ? Rota Selector functionality

Just test upgraded PSO from 6.7 to 6.9.Has the function of the Rota Selector (in the Resource Planner screen) changed? In 6.7 it appears to filter the lower portion of the screen (the “Resource Planner”) in 6.9 it appears to filter both the upper and lower portion of the screen. I would describe this as not ideal behaviour! It makes the “Add Resource to Planner” button very unpredictable!

Retention of records in dse_plan_travel Table

Hi Experts,Is there a way or any Parameter to control the Retention time period of dse_plan_travel table records?One of the customer is finding a heavy load of records in this table & most of the records appear with a NULL value for Task id. I have created a custom screen and want to have Import/Export button on the screen to import data on the custom table. There is an import/export button in business rules screen(for reference). Customize globaltheme in FSM 5.6.3

Is globaltheme.xml is available as a part of the package for FSM 5.6.3 version? (I searched for this xaml file in application server in c:\inetpub..\clienttest folder but could not locate. Should I look somewhere else)If not then how can we customize the login screen in 5.6.3 version (smart client)?I am looking add few fields and some more text to the application launch screen along with customer branding. Understand that this is available in higher versions but my client is still stuck in this old version.
