Field Service Management (FSM) & Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO)

We have just upgraded from Metrix 5.3.3 to FSM6.15. On the Stock screen the Quantities tab shows 0 quantities in stock locations that have stock in them, yet the Bins & Serials tab is showing the correct serial ids and the correct stock count in the Bin On Hand field. is there a way to show the correct Quantities in the Quantities tab also? Hello,Are there any available patches that we could install for FSM 5.7 update 3 build 6659? We understand that there is a move/push to cloud versioning, however we are not yet ready to move to cloud at this moment. In the interim we would like to make sure that our current software has any of the necessary patching that it needs. 

hiIs there any setting in dispatch console that shows the FSEs grouped by resource group or region like below. In IFS, I can see like this 

When we click on eligible resource under unallocated task, only resource group filter is turned on automatically but other filter don’t work . We also added certificates and competencies but still filter of dispatch console don’t work properly.  

Hi All,We have added competency to work task also added job which includes competency is also added but in dispatch console when we click on eligible resources that competency filter doesn't show up. what can be possible solution ? Thanks

We have competency, certificate, region etc info in Dispatch console but where are they entered/set with the resources? In the resource screen, I could not find anything like this?  

When we click on eligible resources , auto filters apply for resource group and region that we have assigned to resources . Before the filters were working but now they don’t and we didn’t change anything yet . 

How to launch the url in same browser. I was trying to launch one url with launchBrowser() function but it is opening the url in new browser.So how we can load the url in same browser

is it possible to change the FSM Metadata for task_text “Is Required” checkbox to un-checked because Ive tried in Studio and cant make that edit. Is there somewhere else I need to go to uncheck that box?

Hi all,  I am experiencing the following issue while executing FSM installer using customer provided user. When checked from the Azure AD level. How can I modify the information that is shown in the pop up box displayed when an Activity is clicked on or hovered over? Our Dev & Production systems differ, yet I cannot find the parameters that can change these.Prod:Dev:Thank you

Hi All, Is it possible to adjust the swipe functionality whithin the FSM iOS app?We disabled the option to delete a row within a list. But it’s still possible to preform the swipe action in iOS. Which btw does notihing, which is confussing for the users.  

I am trying to check the route of the Person from home base to first Task. Lat/long is set on Person an d Task related Place record, address is correctly set with Lat/long. But still route is not getting plotted between Person to First Tasks. But, when I assign second task to same Person, route is visible. Is this the right behaviour or someting is missing to be configuered Between Resource and Tasks no route is plotted Between two tasks route gets plotted

If I create a project with multiple task can this scheduled by PSO?Example.One customer with 10 Task. I create a Project and add all this tasks into the project.Than I set the scheduled project start date and the scheduled end date.Can PSO plan this project into the time frame between project start and end date? ThanksMarkus

This issue is happening on PSO 6.10.0.17 and any previous non-silverlight version. When attempting to search for a specific Resource in the Planning Module (Resource Data, Resource screen), it takes up to 14 seconds to get the search result. On the old PSO (6.5.0.29) this is instantaneously.  I don’t understand why searching against a SQL table that has about 1000 records takes 14 seconds. Something is completely wrong with the way this is handled. Already reported via case: G2358015 when tested on PSO 6.10.0.7.RnD claimed that they have resolved this issue on PSO 6.10.0.17 but they have only partially resolved this issue. Wondering how did they pass the QA test. 

We have recently upgraded to FSM6 from Metrix5. in Metrix we added lines to the request description field (request.cust_prob_descr) using SQL Agent jobs, and started each added line with a CHAR(13) carriage return. in FSM we are unable to make changes to any other request field via the User Interface (desktop client) on any request where one of these lines with a carriage return has been added. On Save we get an FSM Error message on a pop-up with the statement:“Row(request_request, ([request_id])) was changed after it was selected. Reselect and try again.”If we remove the carriage return on Excel and reimport the description, or if we remove the carriage return with a sql update then we are able to modify the request again using the User Interface. Unfortunately we require the added information lines and the carriage returns in the description for our mobile application. Therefore we want to be able to make changes to any request field AND keep our char(13) in the description field.Any

I entered time inside a task using MWO but the entries visible from browser don’t totally match with what I can see from mobile. I have done the sync up too, not sure why the issue isIN MWO, I see this
