Hi Experts,One customer has a requirement to restrict a person such that he could see only 3 Place IDs in ‘Place’ screen & the same to be visible in Place lookup in ‘Request’ Screen. Are there any suggestions to configure this behavior?My initial focus was on Access groups & Lookup XML in UI designer. But, I doubt the exact behavior could be achieved. Your inputs with regard to this is highly valued.Many thanks!

Resource Bucket in PSO

Hi All,We have a requirement to create Resource Buckets and assign the capacity in terms of activity per day each bucket can handle. So all the tasks related to the Resource Bucket will be tied up as per the capacity and allocated to the Resource Bucket. Auto Creation of Purchase Requisition on Work Order

hi,I was wondering if it was possible that when a Work Order is generated from a PM Action that a Planned Purchase Requisition can also be created. We have a large volume of PM Actions that require a set list of Parts each time they are completed that currently the Users are manually creating each time and I hoped that we could have them defined in the PM Action and auto created when the event is generated. Activity feed in FSM

IFS10 Equipment management

HelloOur company would like to start have equipment and tool management in IFS10. The purpose is to have equipment/tool overview/management , and some activity being recorded and reminded to take per due date.. ), but have some questions need you help clarify: In IFS10 functions, what is the different of Functional/Serial object and Tool/Equipment? which one it more suitable for us to use? Now we record these equipment/tool in IFS10 as Fixed Assets>objects with certain object group, in the future, how these two function can be linked together? Your quick reply is appreciated. FSM Mobile : Updating "List with CheckBox" Data

In FSM Mobile, we have Task Steps screen which is "List with CheckBox”.Our requirement is to set the Steps to be completed when the screen is launched.We are able to use “Populate Script” to populate the Completed flag, when the screen is opened.But, when clicking on Next, the data doesn’t get saved.Can you please assist in either handling the checkbox change event or in the NEXT button script to save the changes.

How to identify the FSM function initiating a query?

From Customer: At least once a day we have a session ID that is blocking other sessions to run and slows down the system performance in Production. Currently our DBA team is monitoring for blocking sessions longer than 45 minutes. These seem to be sessions that go to sleep. We need an understanding what is running in the FSM software with the user of metrix running this SQL: When the blocking occurs it does affect all users. Auto-Generate providing random templates

According to another post here, when it comes to auto generating a rota, PSO will use the last shift template currently used against the resource to extend out the shifts.This has no problem working in most environments, but in 1 client’s environment, auto generating a rota provides a return of mixed shift templatesFor example: Generated a rota with a resource having a shift called Wed-Sat: 8-6. This was the shift they were given for a month periodthen went to create an auto generate rota for the following month. PSO gave the resource 2 separate shift templates for that month period.This resource had no ROTA hours prior to this so the shifts we initially made were the first shifts they've ever received. We believe the issue is ROTA related as if we take export the modeling data and import it into a new dataset within the same environment, the issue does not return. If we export the rota and modeling date, import that into a new dataset - the issue remains.Can’t find anything in the XML

Custom MPM call

Hi Experts, I need to trigger the custom mpm when the an external system sends an inbound message.I know that custom mpms can be triggered by using the UI designer/XML poster. If the outer system wants to trigger the custom mpm directly, is there a way to achieve that? Ex: http://hagilk0/DEMOFSMServer6_4/OData/perform_inbound_integrationouter system will trigger the mpm= perform_inbound_message and execute the query based on the code level.Can I use similar kind of logic to call the custom mpm message from outer system as inbound request? PSO activities overlapping after scheduled job

Hi Experts,Looking for some guidance and help on following customer issue.Customer has process type in input reference as appointment.And for commitment of tasks it has a scheduled job in FSM (commit rules are not set in PSO, commit is done by scheduled job in FSM)This scheduled job occurs once a day.And the broadcast from DSE to FSM happens per one hour.If the scheduled job for commitment of tasks happens at 11.20 am.Then in PSO, end-user do fix commitment of tasks to several resources at around 11.18 a.m. (2 mins before scheduled job)And the next broadcast is at 11.45 am. After the scheduled job in scheduling workspace it can be seen that activities are overlapped. (not only the activities & resources which were fixed committed)My queries are 1. Is it ok to do manual fix commitment to tasks when scheduling type is "appointment"?2. any clue on what to check and where might this get wrongAppreciate your help and response on this.Thanks in advance. I’m interested if any IFS customers out there plan their field service technicians off a fixed zones/routes concepts - sometimes referred to “milk-run” methodology? This is as an alternative to fully adaptive scheduling offered by PSO. Mass Update

Hi all,I created an xml message calling mass_update. When I execute the message I get response saying number of records which were successfully updated, and no error.The number of records based on select is correct number.But when I check to the records, the fields are not updated. When I update a single record, the fields are updated. So xpath_node is correct. Do you know why this mass_update message doesn’t work?
