I cancelled this assignment from MWO screen but when I am trying to delete it, it shows me this error What can be done?

Why do you want to delete it? It’s used to track the allocation statuses, time reporting etc., so definitely something you want to keep even when it’s cancelled, otherwise you lose all history.

I saw for cancellation, we need to delete the time reports, so anyway I can’t see the history (neither in time reports, nor in work task time reports, work task transaction etc.), so whether I delete the task OR cancel it, how does it matter? I am just thinking of the scenario where a manager creates the ticket but later on it might not be needed like the issue got fixed & no FSE is needed .
Also, I saw sometimes for mobile tasks, even after cancellation of assignment, it does not allow me to cancel the task saying it is being used in MWO. Any idea.
